Airship of Glass was the number one restaurant all over the earth. It was designed as a castle that flew in the sky with the only material that was used in it being glass. At nights it circled around the sky of Leo City with many eyes looking at it, as it was their biggest dream.
Rose loved it too, but even though they had barely reached the top thousand wealthiest families, using it on such expansive entertainment could cause them to return to their previous state.
What Rose didn't expect was for Ray to bring her to it, plus a new exclusive set from the Jewel tailor shop.
She cleared her throat: "You know, you didn't have to bother yourself for this."
Ray had a faint smile on his lips as he said, "It's nothing; the owner of the restaurant is a friend. Taking the VIP room was simple."
"I was talking about money..." Rose thought to herself; she decided not talking about it was the best choice.
They were waiting in the main hall of the restaurant for their room to be ready and then for the castle to head to its orbit.
Ray checked his phone constantly; after his agreement with Marian, he went home for some training, but a new trouble had risen from the dust for him.
"Rose, what are you doing here?"
Rose saw a girl with blonde hair with an energetic voice calling her name. "Oh, Sarah! Good to see you here."
The girl named Sarah, hand in hand with a boy in a black suit, walked toward them.
The girl didn't wait for Rose to say anything: "Rose, this is my boyfriend, Jacob. Jacob, this is Rose, my classmate at school and future classmate at the academy!"
They both shook hands; Rose wanted to escape as soon as possible. Only seeing Sarah meant there were going to be rumors made about her. "Ray, I think our room is ready."
Ray heard his own name and turned to Rose.
"It's the Dread Lord!"
The whole hall went silent. Rose didn't know what was going on, but she could sense fear in her face.
Any effect of emotions left Ray's face: "Do I know you?"
"I ... I'm just a guest..." Sarah stepped back.
"Are we supposed to stay in the sky with a psychopath until tomorrow?" A woman yelled from a corner of the hall.
"Ray ... What is going on?"
"It's nothing ..." Before he could finish his sentence, a group of men with black suits rushed in front of him.
"We are the security of the Airship of Glass. We would appreciate your cooperation and leave the airship." One of them stepped up with sunglasses.
Ray said with a dry tone, "Are you sure that's what you want to do?"
"That's not what I want; my duty is to ensure the safety of our guests."
Ray took out his phone, calling a number while everybody just watched his movements.
"I want to buy the airship of glass." He waited for a few seconds and continued, "No, I don't care about the price."
He hung up the call and asked the guards again, "Are you sure that's what you want to do?"
The guard didn't know what to do anymore; he had heard about Ray's background, but this was beyond his belief.
"Forgive me, sir, for my rude attitude."
Ray acted like nothing had happened. "Good, then guide me and my lady to our room."
Their leader signed to the others, and they moved out to clear the way for them.
"Let's go."
Rose followed him with a frustrated face: "What the hell happened?"
"You haven't been on the internet since morning?"
Rose blushed a little; since morning all she had done was to think about her date with Ray. "No."
"In short, those who attacked us that night at the tower announced their existence to the whole world. They called themselves 'The Judges,' and their goal was to bring equality to the world. And they had videos of me killing their people in, let's just say, a violent manner." Ray sighed, "And they give me the stupid title of Dread Lord, naming me their first enemy."
"Wow, woooww, that's a lot to take in..." She clenched her fists: "That's why everyone thinks you are a bad person?"
"It doesn't matter what they think or what they say about me. Words are just words; they held no power against me. My biggest concern is the safety of those around me."
"I don't ... I don't know what to say." Rose wanted help, but she felt she was going to be in the way.
"It's ok; sorry to break the mood. I wanted it to be a happy time between us." Ray entered the VIP room.
Rose followed him into the room. "Things happen."
The room was more like a house, with its own different parts and a whole second floor with everything made out of glass.
"This place is fantastic..."
Ray, for the first time in the night, looked into Rose's outfit; she had worn a simple short black dress with thin pants that showed most of the skin of her legs.
Her gloves were still on, but with the rest of her clothing, she seemed like an angel in black.
"Wait until they take us to the sky; then it's going to be more amazing."
Ray's thoughts left anything regarding his other worries: "For tonight, there is something way more interesting!"
