"Seems like my actions from a while ago made Julia's affection toward me to increase."

Sebastian tried to tinker around with the system, to see if there's any hidden function that he could try to activate.
However, there wasn't any response coming from the system.
"Seems like there currently isn't any function with the affection thing. I guess the system is just informing me of my partner's affection level toward me."
"Maybe something might happen if Julia's affection toward me become even higher and reached a certain number… But for now, this isn't something I should care too much about."
"The matter on hand I should care the most about is to break through and become an official talisman crafter!"
"But before I get to that, I should focus my mind on preparing the breakfast first."
"Julia is going to be surprised when she wakes up and tastes my breakfast. After all, my cooking skills that have been sharpened for 20 years isn't something to be taken lightly!"
Upon seeing that there wasn't any response coming from the system, Sebastian threw the affection matter to the back of his mind and focused on preparing breakfast.
One thing worth noting, the reason Sebastian had his system screen opened by his side despite being able to close his system screen was because he wanted to make sure he didn't miss any new text log if any new text log were to appear.
Sebastian had noticed that the system didn't possess any alert functions.
Which meant that, when a new text log appeared, the system wouldn't do something like ringing a sound to notify him about it.
Also, if his system screen was closed, when a new text log appeared, the system screen wouldn't open by itself to show that a new text log had appeared.
Therefore, Sebastian decided to always have the system screen opened by his side.
And this was how Sebastian was able to quickly notice the new text log regarding Julia's affection toward him had reached 30.
In any case, since Sebastian was able to adjust the translucency of the system screen, the system screen didn't really affect his vision.
Therefore, if he wasn't in combat or anything, the system screen constantly being by his side didn't really post any inconvenience to him.
"Hmm, what should I cook? Chicken and vegetables…"
"Stir fry chicken with vegetables?"
"No, I should cook something that is invigorating and nutritious…"
"I know, I should cook ginseng chicken soup!"

Upon coming to a decision, Sebastian went to get his pouch, which he had his lower-quality energy stones stored in.
Afterward, he headed out of Lisandris Family's Manor and went to the nearest medicinal herb store to buy a 100-year-old ginseng.
When Sebastian arrived back home, 40 minutes had already passed since he had left the Lisandris Family's Manor.
Without wasting any time, Sebastian immediately head to the kitchen, then began preparing the ingredients to cook the ginseng chicken soup.
From the preparations of the ingredients to getting all of the ingredients into a pot, it took Sebastian roughly 15 minutes.
Now, all Sebastian has to do is to cook the ginseng chicken soup at low heat for roughly 3 to 4 hours and check the ginseng chicken soup from time to time, tasting and adjusting the soup accordingly so that it tastes good.
"Hmm. Now all I have to do is to let it simmer at low heat, then taste and season it accordingly."
After Sebastian was pretty much done with the ginseng chicken soup, he took a stretch, then let out a groan as he muttered to himself.
"Now, with the 3 to 4 hours that I have, I should start testing out my talisman crafting skills."
"I wonder how much experience I am going to be able to gain in 1 session of talisman crafting…"
While muttering to himself in his own mind, Sebastian began walking toward the talisman crafting room.
Upon walking into the talisman crafting room, a huge low rectangle table could be seen situated in the middle of the room, and by the door was a row of storage cabinets.
A sitting mat was placed on one side of the table, and on the table, the talisman crafting ingredients that were needed to craft fireball talismans were already placed there in advance.
Evidently, that was the doing of Julia when she had woken up earlier this morning.
"How thoughtful of Julia, but how did she know that I was intending on crafting fireball talismans?"
"I guess that Dave Lisandris must have informed her that I was close to being able to craft fireball talismans without failing."
Seated on the sitting mat, Sebastian muttered to himself as he checked onto the ingredients to confirm that there was nothing wrong with the ingredients.
After checking and confirming that there was no problem with the ingredients…
Sebastian took in a deep breath and prepared himself for a session of talisman crafting.
