Kim showed up at Mia's apartment at eight in the morning with coffee and pastries, practically vibrating with energy.
Mia opened the door in her pajamas, hair messy, eyes still heavy with sleep.
"Kim, it's Saturday."
"I know. I couldn't wait." Kim pushed past her into the apartment, setting the coffee and pastries on the kitchen counter. "We need to talk about last night."
Mia rubbed her eyes and shuffled to the counter. "Okay, but coffee first. I'm not awake enough for this."
"I brought you coffee."
"Bless you."
They settled on the couch, Mia curling up with her cup while Kim sat cross-legged, barely containing herself.
"So?" Mia prompted. "Tell me everything."
"It was amazing," Kim said, her face lighting up. "Like, genuinely amazing. The restaurant was beautiful, the food was incredible, and Ethan was just... perfect."
"Perfect how?"
