"Enough!" Evan snapped loudly at his mother, finally stepping forward after getting an earful of his mother's harsh words to April. "Mom, stop it! You've said enough already. What is wrong with you?"
"Don't you ever raise your voice at me, Evan. I'm still your mother and you have no idea what I'm dealing with here" Judith turned sharply with a dark frown while glaring at the two friends.
"Mom, I know exactly what you're doing. You're trying to bully sister in law, so she will leave, but you also don't have any idea what type of pit you're digging for yourself after all of this is done. You know brother won't show mercy"
Evan's words strike like thunder in Judith's ear, her expression stiffened, before she could say anything, Ruby spoke up in soft firm voice "if you realize how much your son loves her, you won't be here right now."
"Love my foot. He doesn't even acknowledge her as his real wife yet. Nothing official, no strings attached." Judith replied
