Telekinesis was a pretty simple mystic behavior to learn; it let the mystic control objects with their mind power.
By control, it also meant that these objects could be used as projectiles if needed, or when one builds something and needs to lift heavy weight, it is pretty useful to have.
"Learning it is not simple, but compared to other abilities, it suits me well."
As a creator-type mystic, Micheal knew that his value and focus should be on the spells that increased his creativity to use.
A firebolt is pretty useful in combat, but it lacks the versatility Michael wanted.
After deciding on what he wanted to learn, he did not waste any time and then took a deep breath and started reading about it.
Telekinesis worked by using the mental power to surround the object to control it.
The heavier the object, the more mental power needed for moving it.
"The Mystic Behavior—Telekinesis."
"Focus on the object."
"Imagine, and control your focus and mental power to surround and encompass the object that is in focus."
"Will it move back and forth?"
"If successful in moving back and forth, focus on levitating and then slowly increase the power behind the mental power."
Michael smiled.
"It is easier than I expected, but there must be a catch."
Michael looked right and left to find a suitable object and then nodded as he saw a paperweight for his books.
It was made of metal and should only weigh around fifty to one hundred grams.
With these thoughts and plans, Micheal started trying. After about three hours of practice, other than just simply moving the paperweight for one to two cm, there was not much progress.
He took a deep breath and got up from his seat for a moment and washed his face to cool down for a moment.
"The plan is simple, but the result is not effective."
"According to the Mind Method, I need to understand my result and try again with a new understanding of it."
Micheal then closed his eyes for a moment and started working on what he learned in the last three hours.
It was already morning time, but there was still a long time for the class to start, so he had time to work on his project.
After taking some notes on the empty papers, he said to himself.
"The key is taking action without hesitation."
"I do not hesitate when I want to walk or move my arm, but I am not sure inherently that I can do telekinesis..."
"It blocks my mental power, as I don't believe it inherently; it makes it weak."
Micheal then focused on the paperweight again, this time with more calm and natural focus.
He did not focus too hard, like he wanted to pierce the paperweight with his eyes and make it too hard, but he focused on the paperweight and imagined it moving by surrounding it with his mental power, as it was too natural for something like this to happen.
It was like the only thing that could happen.
As Micheal took a different approach, the paperweight moved and then started levitating back and forth.
"Great..."
At that time, Micheal felt that his head hurt a little bit, and then some sort of images manifested in his mind. It was like a second or two; he felt like he was in someplace else. There were metal machines with four black wheels that moved fast.
"What are those machines, and why did I see those images just after the telekinesis was successful...?"
He asked himself but then shook his head.
"I don't know many things..."
He said to himself and then smiled at his state.
Michael then closed his eyes for a moment and whispered.
"Mind Syanus."
This was the word that was given to them by the teacher, Linda, a mystic word that can be used after they have taken classes; it lets students track their progress and only works as long as they are part of the Freedom Mind.
With Micheal whispering the word, the first thing he saw when he learned that he had the potential to be Mystic manifested.
"Micheal Brin"
"Classification – Student"
"Mental Power = 3.1"
Micheal nodded and smiled as he saw his mental power.
"My mental power has increased a great deal in such a short time."
"This means that as long as I keep on working, I have a chance to reach 7.0 to become a Wisp-Level Mystic."
"Which would change everything."
While Micheal focused on his goals, all the other students that were awake and in their room focused on their goals.
Everybody had their life goals, and if they wanted to achieve what they wanted, they needed to focus on those goals.
