The portal spat Goku and Zeno out into a completely different reality.
Space here felt… crowded. Not empty like the ruined solar system they had just left. This universe hummed with life, with energy signatures that buzzed like angry bees. Billions of planets, trillions of lives, and right in front of them—hanging in the blackness like a bright blue jewel—was a familiar-looking Earth. But this one had satellites, space stations, and faint traces of advanced technology flickering across its orbit.
Zeno clapped his tiny hands, eyes sparkling with childish delight. "Avengers world! I remember this one. They have colorful heroes. Iron suits, hammers, green monsters. It will be fun!"
Goku rolled his shoulders, still in his Full Power Super Saiyan Blue form. The blue aura around him crackled softly. "Yeah… but I'm not here to play around this time. We need more energy. A lot more. That fight with Jinwoo took a lot out of me, even if I won."
Zeno tilted his head. "Then let's make it intense! I want to see big booms!"
Before Goku could reply, alarms blared across the solar system.
On the Avengers' side, every hero on Earth felt it at once.
In the Avengers Compound, Tony Stark's helmet snapped down over his face as FRIDAY screamed warnings. "Boss, unknown energy signatures just tore open reality near Jupiter. Power levels off the charts—higher than anything we've ever measured. It's like two gods just walked in."
Steve Rogers gripped his shield tighter, staring at the holographic display. "Avengers… assemble. Now."
Thor's eyes widened, Mjolnir humming in his hand. "By Odin's beard… that power feels like the All-Father himself… but wrong. Twisted."
Bruce Banner was already transforming, muscles ripping through his shirt as the Hulk roared to life. "Hulk smash whatever that is!"
Doctor Strange floated into the room, cloak billowing, eyes glowing with mystic energy. "This isn't a villain from our universe. Something ripped through the multiverse barriers. I can feel the fabric of reality still screaming."
In space, the Guardians of the Galaxy's ship, the Milano, rocked violently as Peter Quill grabbed the controls. "What the hell was that?! Rocket, scan it!"
Rocket's eyes went wide on the scanner. "That ain't no ship. That's… a person. One guy glowing blue like a damn star. And a little floating… kid? This reading is insane. He's stronger than Thanos on steroids!"
Goku hovered calmly near Jupiter, scanning the new world with his senses. He could feel them—all the strong ones lighting up like fireworks. Iron Man's repulsors, Thor's divine lightning, the Hulk's raw rage, Strange's mystic arts, even a few others he didn't recognize yet. It was a buffet of power.
Zeno giggled again. "Go play with them, Goku! I'll watch from here. Make it loud!"
Goku nodded once. "Alright. Let's see what these Avengers are made of."
He blasted forward—faster than light. In seconds he crossed the distance and appeared directly above Earth's atmosphere, blue aura blazing like a second sun in the daytime sky.
People on the ground screamed and pointed upward. Phones recorded frantically. News helicopters spun wildly as shockwaves from Goku's arrival shattered windows for miles.
Then the Avengers arrived.
Iron Man rocketed up first, repulsors glowing. "Hey, glowstick! You got a name? And why are you parking your cosmic butt in our solar system without an invitation?"
Goku smiled politely, scratching his cheek. "Name's Goku. I'm just looking for a good fight. You guys seem pretty strong. Mind if we spar?"
Thor landed beside Stark, lightning crackling across his armor. "Spar? Mortal… or whatever you are… that power you carry could destroy this realm!"
Captain America's voice came over comms from a Quinjet below. "Stand down if you're friendly. We don't want unnecessary destruction."
Goku's smile faded a bit. "Friendly? I'm not here to destroy your planet… yet. But I need energy. Lots of it. So if you're heroes… prove it. Come at me with everything you've got."
The Hulk smashed through the clouds like a green meteor, roaring. "HULK SMASH BLUE MAN!"
He swung a massive fist the size of a truck.
Goku caught it one-handed.
The impact created a shockwave that flattened clouds for hundreds of miles and sent the Quinjet tumbling. Hulk's eyes widened in shock as Goku didn't even budge.
"Strong punch," Goku said calmly. "But not enough."
He flicked his wrist.
Hulk flew backward like a cannonball, smashing straight through a mountain range in the Rockies. The entire chain shook. Avalanches roared down the slopes.
"Bruce!" Captain America shouted.
Iron Man fired a full barrage—every repulsor, missile, and laser in his arsenal. The sky lit up with golden fire.
Goku didn't dodge. He walked straight through the explosions, the blasts washing over his body like warm rain. His blue aura barely flickered.
"Nice toys," he said. Then he blurred.
One punch.
Tony's armor crumpled like paper. The faceplate shattered. He rocketed downward uncontrollably, crashing into the ocean off the coast of New York. The splash created a tidal wave that threatened coastal cities until Strange quickly erected mystic barriers.
Thor charged next, Mjolnir spinning like a tornado of lightning. "For Asgard!"
He brought the hammer down with the force of a dying star.
Goku met it with an uppercut.
The collision lit up the entire hemisphere. Thunder that wasn't thunder rolled across the planet. Mjolnir cracked—actual fractures appearing on the legendary weapon for the first time in millennia.
Thor was blasted upward, blood spraying from his mouth, armor smoking. He tumbled end over end before catching himself, eyes wide with disbelief.
Doctor Strange opened dozens of portals at once, golden circles spinning. Mystic chains, eldritch whips, and bolts of pure magic rained down from every direction.
Goku spun in place, ki exploding outward in a blue dome. Every spell shattered on contact. Strange's eyes widened behind his mask as the backlash threw him backward through his own portals, slamming him into the Sanctum Sanctorum in New York. Bookshelves collapsed around him.
On the ground, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Falcon were coordinating evacuations, but even they could feel the sheer pressure. The sky kept flashing blue and gold.
Goku floated higher, looking disappointed. "Is this really all you've got? I fought a guy who commanded an army of shadows earlier today. He was tough. You guys… feel like you're holding back."
That lit a fire.
The remaining Avengers converged.
Captain America threw his shield with perfect precision. Thor, recovering, hurled Mjolnir again. Iron Man, repaired mid-flight by nanites, joined with a unibeam. Hulk leaped back into orbit, roaring louder than ever. Strange opened a massive portal behind Goku, trying to banish him to the Dark Dimension.
Goku laughed—a short, excited laugh.
"Now we're talking!"
He powered up further. The blue aura intensified until it looked like a blazing sapphire flame. Lightning danced wildly around him. Super Saiyan Blue—pushed harder.
He moved.
The fight became a blur even to the fighters themselves.
Goku appeared in front of Hulk first. A rapid barrage of punches—dozens in a second—pounded into the green giant's chest. Each hit sounded like nuclear explosions. Hulk's roar turned into a pained grunt as he was driven backward across the Atlantic, skipping across the ocean like a stone until he crashed into Europe, flattening forests in Germany.
Next was Thor. Goku grabbed Mjolnir mid-swing and used it to slam the God of Thunder into the moon—yes, this universe still had its moon. The impact carved a new crater visible from Earth.
Iron Man tried to flank with a swarm of micro-missiles and bleeding-edge lasers. Goku simply raised one hand and fired a casual ki blast. The explosion engulfed Stark's suit again, sending him spiraling into the Pacific. This time parts of the armor melted.
Doctor Strange created a mirror dimension trap—folding reality around Goku like origami. For a moment it worked. Goku was trapped in a shattered, looping version of New York.
Then he punched.
Once.
The entire mirror dimension exploded outward in a shower of glass-like shards. Strange screamed as mystic feedback hit him like a truck, blood pouring from his nose.
Captain America was the last one standing in close range. He caught his shield and planted his feet, staring up at the glowing Saiyan.
"You're holding back too, aren't you?" Steve said, voice steady even as the world shook around them.
Goku paused, floating down until they were eye level. "A little. If I go all out right now… your planet might not survive. But I need more power. Your team is strong, but not enough yet."
Steve's jaw tightened. "Then we'll make it enough."
He charged.
Shield raised, pure heart and unbreakable will driving him forward.
Goku respected that. He met the attack head-on—but gently, for him. Still, the clash sent Captain America flying into a mountain, embedding him deep in the rock. But Steve stood up again, bruised and bleeding, shield dented but not broken.
From the ground, the other heroes watched in horror and awe.
Zeno, still floating near Jupiter, clapped excitedly. "More! More! They're tough little toys!"
Goku raised his hand. Purple energy began gathering again—Hakai spheres forming one by one. Ten. Twenty. Thirty.
The Avengers felt death approaching.
Thor struggled to his feet on the shattered moon. "He's going to erase us…"
Strange, from the ruins of the Sanctum, began chanting desperately, trying to weave a protection spell around the entire planet.
Hulk roared and leaped toward Goku again, refusing to quit.
Goku's eyes narrowed. "If you survive this… maybe you'll be ready next time."
The Hakai spheres shot forward like purple meteors of oblivion.
But before they could strike—
A new voice cut through the chaos.
"Enough!"
A figure in a red cape with a glowing green stone on his chest appeared in a flash of light—Vision, phasing through dimensions with the Mind Stone's power amplified by some unknown force. Beside him, Scarlet Witch floated, eyes blazing red with chaos magic. Black Panther in his vibranium suit, Shuri with new tech, and even Captain Marvel, glowing with binary energy, arrived in the nick of time.
They poured everything into one desperate combined defense.
Vision's density shift, Wanda's reality-warping hexes, Captain Marvel's photon blasts, Shuri's energy shields, and the remaining Avengers adding whatever power they had left.
The Hakai barrage collided with their barrier.
The explosion was cataclysmic.
Half the sky turned purple and black. Shockwaves ripped across continents. Mountains in Asia crumbled. The oceans churned into tsunamis that threatened every coastline. Cities lost power. Satellites burned up in the atmosphere.
But Earth… survived. Barely.
When the light faded, the Avengers lay scattered—bruised, broken, costumes torn, some unconscious. But alive.
Goku floated above them, breathing slightly heavier now. A thin line of blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. That last defense had actually pushed him.
"Not bad," he admitted. "You guys are tougher than you look when you work together."
Zeno's voice echoed from orbit, childish and delighted. "That was fun! But we still need more energy, Goku. Keep going!"
Goku looked down at the battered heroes. Some were already struggling to stand—Thor leaning on Mjolnir, Hulk shrinking back to Banner who coughed blood, Stark's armor half-destroyed but still functional, Strange weaving healing spells with shaking hands.
Captain America, on his knees but refusing to fall completely, looked up with defiant eyes. "Whoever you are… whatever you want… we won't let you destroy our home."
Goku smiled—tired but genuine. "Good. That's the spirit I like."
He powered down slightly, blue hair fading back to black, aura dimming. But his eyes stayed serious.
"I'm not your enemy today. But I will be back. Train harder. Get stronger. All of you. Because next time… I won't hold back at all."
He turned toward Zeno's location.
"Zeno, open the portal. We got some energy… but not enough yet."
A new swirling dark portal tore open in space.
Goku glanced back one last time at the broken but unbowed Avengers.
"See you soon."
He stepped through.
The portal snapped shut with a thunderclap that echoed across the planet.
Silence fell.
On the ruined battlefield that was once a peaceful sky, the Avengers slowly gathered, helping each other up. The world was damaged—cities in panic, landmarks cracked, but humanity still breathed.
Tony Stark removed his broken helmet, staring at the empty space where Goku had vanished.
"…We need a bigger team."
Thor wiped blood from his lip. "And better weapons."
Doctor Strange closed his eyes, already sensing the multiv
ersal scars. "And allies from other realities… because whatever that was… it's only the beginning."
Captain America stood tall despite his injuries, shield dented but held high.
"Then we prepare. For the next time."
