Day and night alternated. In his deep slumber, the morning sun had risen, dispelling the darkness. Kaito groggily opened his eyes, got up, and went downstairs.
After a simple breakfast, he walked out into the yard. A typhoon had passed. Fresh air mixed with moisture entered his nostrils, bringing a rare coolness for summer. Puddles of muddy water appeared on the open ground.
Kaito first released his Pokémon one by one: Furret, Mightyena, Bibarel, Shiinotic... Finally, arriving at the beach, he was about to release Slowpoke and Krabby.
The beach was a mess, with endless seawater and golden sand mixed together. But fortunately, it was the middle of summer, and the scorching sunlight would soon erase most of the typhoon's traces.
The Cottonee Cloud
Besides the normal mess, a group of unfamiliar guests had arrived on the beach. They were spherical cotton balls, seemingly soaked with a lot of water, lying on the beach, some unable to fly.

The Cottonee expressed their desire to stay on his farm; they liked Kaito very much. Kaito naturally had no objection. Cottonee are actually very good farm Pokémon; pillows and bedding made from their cotton are high-grade products.
The Stranded Lapras
"Hoo bi hoo bi!" While Kaito was admiring the Cottonee cloud, Bunnelby's anxious cry came from the other side.
Upon arrival, Kaito noticed a blue Pokémon stranded on the tidal flat, and Bunnelby was beside it, at a loss. The Pokémon was small in stature, seemingly in its infancy, with some minor wounds.
"Lapras?" Kaito was surprised. The stranded Pokémon before him was a young Lapras.

This young Lapras was indeed in its infancy. Facing a strong typhoon, it was quite normal for it to end up in such a predicament.
Without further ado, Kaito quickly knelt beside Lapras, his hands gathering Viridian Power to heal it.
A moment later, Lapras slowly opened its eyes, looking towards Kaito. "Woo~" Lapras let out a soft cry, expressing its gratitude.
"Good boy. Did you get separated from your parents? Or?" Kaito suspected it was separated due to the typhoon.
"Woo~" Lapras shook its head. It turned out that it was born in another coastal area, and was alone when it was born.
"I see. Then, would you like to live with us?" Kaito extended his right hand, inviting Lapras.
Lapras looked up. Kaito's smiling face was reflected in its nimble eyes. The next moment, Lapras raised a fin and placed it on Kaito's hand, nodding heavily. It was no longer living alone.
"Alright. Welcome to the team." Kaito picked up the little Lapras and walked back, his face beaming with joy. He had fulfilled his childhood wish of having a Lapras that could take him on journeys.
Re-exploring Qinglin Mountain
Kaito took the little Lapras back to the villa, fed it, and introduced it to everyone. Machamp clapped with all four hands, Bunnelby used his long ears, and Lapras thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of excitement.
"Very good. Then let's begin our journey. Our destination is Qinglin Mountain!"
The typhoon was like a washing machine, cleaning countless green trees, making the leaves even greener. The mountains were all one color.
Kaito chose to use a mount! This time he chose Meganium. Arcanine was suitable for vast plains, but Meganium was more adapted to forest terrain and provided a better, more stable experience.
Thump, thump... Meganium walked through the forest, the fragrance released by the flowers on its neck making the surrounding leaves even greener. Kaito sat steadily on its back, holding the small Lapras in his arms, taking it to explore this vast world. Lapras was wide-eyed, extremely curious about the forest.
On a branch, a red Ledyba was perched. In the grass, a Silcoon was hiding. On the muddy ground, a Diglett quickly peeked out.
"Woo~" Lapras flapped its fins, singing a beautiful and melodious tune, expressing the many emotions in its heart.
Rumble, rumble— A series of louder Rollout sounds came from not far away, breaking the atmosphere of Lapras's singing.
"Let's go take a look."
"Gak nyo~" Meganium took a few leaps forward and saw a small clearing. In the clearing, there was a large gray Pokémon with a long black nose resembling a tank tread.
It's you! Donphan!
Donphan's profile: Name: Donphan, Name: None, Ability: Sturdy, Type: Ground-type, Level: Lv. 32 (Excellent-tier), Skills: Horn Attack, Rapid Spin, Rollout, Pursuit..., Potential: Excellent-tier.
Besides Donphan, there was also a Phanpy on the field; the Donphan was likely her mother. Donphan was currently facing off against a Stunfisk in a muddy puddle.
Seeing Meganium and Kaito appear, the tense situation eased somewhat.
"What happened?" Kaito dismounted from Meganium.
"Koo-ba~" Donphan explained that she was training her child's Rollout ability when the Phanpy accidentally rolled over a Stunfisk sleeping in the muddy puddle.
Kaito looked at the Stunfisk. With Stunfisk's appearance, who could see him in the muddy puddle? Being rolled over was quite normal.
"How about this, Stunfisk, do you have any demands, like having Donphan and them apologize?" Kaito asked.

"Is that so? Why don't you come to my farm?" Kaito offered. "I have a farm near the coast; the terrain there is flat, and it covers a large area. It's perfectly sufficient for Rollout practice."
Donphan was about to refuse, but sensing the refreshing aura Kaito exuded, she changed her mind and nodded in agreement.
