"I have another option," she said. "You should hear it before you decide anything."
Ryuken, seated at the head of the room, folded his hands. "Go on."
"The Dark Worlds." She said it plainly, no theatrics, though something in the room's temperature seemed to drop half a degree the instant the words left her mouth. "Not as a place to hide from. As a place to go."
Isole sat forward immediately, the researcher in her arriving before the friend could. "You've been mapping the frequency for two years. You told me the bridge was built for something that hasn't happened yet. Is this the something?"
"Part of it." Nyx met her eyes steadily. "I've known the coordinates for months. I've been waiting for the right people to be strong enough to survive crossing them."
