So my ship Aurora is different then what most people know. I can only writhe about this as I am certain it will be known long before I ever will be home.
The aurora uses the connection that I have to my guards to create a give mind kind of structure and system. I don't really know how else to describe it.
The ship will do what I want it do do. The AI makes it able to know the difference between intrusive thoughts and real commands. So there have not been to much problems there.
But it's still weird as I can kind of feel the ship in the back of my mind. If I where to describe it it's like a net that spreads out in my head that some thoughts will touch and send signals back. I think I feel more like the instect trapped in the web then the spider controlling it.
I have promised to never tell a soul but the AI is kind of not longer just an AI I have realized it have its own thoughts and opinions. The thing that helped me working with it was thinking back on a old TV show. Stargate Enterprise. That this AI is my Data.
So we have established friendly relationship and it understands that I need some quiet that I am unable to work all the time. So it tries to keep quiet when I am on my of time. Sometimes it does ask on advice or have a friendly chatt.
We also agreed that if I where ever in life or death situation where my life could be sacrificed to save the ships people we would do that. Bur i had to promise that if that ever would happen the program would be allowed to copy my mind.
Honestly not to biggest fan over that idea but if my people can be safe well fuck it.
" Cause we don't want to loose you" I can hear Aurora whisper with a sad voice in my head.
I gave her a mental pat on the head. I have no clue why but apparently she chose me to be the captain. Something about brain waves and energy signature that fits the best. I have no clue what's it about but hey I get fantastic pay and so does my family. While am of world they don't need to worry about going hungry. As from what I know it's motivation for work.
" It's kind of them to provide for your family but kind of weird that they used it as motivation" Aurua chimes in.
I do agree with her but if that's what's needed to create a better life well I can live with that. And luckily having the best AI ever created means that she helps me keep an eye on my family.
I like Aurora and she is learning the longer we are together. Honestly I don't know what I am supposed to do if they ever take her away. I am afraid that I have become to bonded with her.
