Sakura stared up at Sasuke, shocked. She had no idea why he'd reacted so violently.
Just moments ago he'd been calm and silent. Now his face had gone pale, breath shaking.
"Sa-Sasuke… what's wrong?" she whispered.
Kakashi saw Sasuke's state and sighed softly.
Naruto's dream had become too loaded… too cruel.
"Calm down. It's just Naruto's dream," Kakashi said.
But Sasuke didn't answer. He didn't even hear them. He only stared at the screen, fists clenched tight.
Why was his mother alive… in Naruto's dream?
And worse—
The dream showed his mother, Uchiha Mikoto, seemingly close to Naruto's mother, like old friends.
How could that be…?
Sasuke's chest rose and fell violently.
If he kept watching… would he really see his mother?
Hope, terror, and longing collided inside him until he shook.
Shigure, hidden in the shadows, watched his meter explode and grinned wide enough to split his face.
"Second Pillar really delivers… One big reaction and it's a jackpot."
On the screen, the dream continued.
Naruto sat at the breakfast table, puzzled.
"Why would that annoying Sasuke be having a celebration banquet and invite me?" he muttered.
He'd never heard of any Uchiha banquet before. And Sasuke would never invite him himself.
Naruto was confused, but he didn't ask. If Mom said they were going, then they were going.
He washed up, then came back and happily ate breakfast with his parents.
"Mom's cooking is the best!" Naruto sighed contentedly.
Minato smiled faintly. Kushina's eyes softened.
After breakfast, Minato wiped his mouth and said apologetically, "Sorry, Kushina, Naruto. I have some official work to handle. I can't go with you right away. You two head over first. I'll come as soon as I finish."
"Ehh—" Naruto pouted, disappointed.
He'd wanted to ask his dad for stage two tips while washing dishes. But Dad was leaving already.
He could only nod. "Okay… but come soon, Dad."
Minato gave his hair a gentle rub and left.
When the door shut, Naruto grumbled as he cleared the table. "Hmph. Dad's always busy."
Still, he carried the dishes into the kitchen and started washing.
Kushina smiled proudly and joined him, drying things off. "Don't complain, Naruto. Your dad works hard for the village. It's fine if we're a little late."
Naruto nodded quietly.
He finished quickly, wiped his hands, and Kushina was already waiting at the entryway.
"Alright, Naruto, let's go! Don't keep Sasuke waiting~"
"Okay!" Naruto hurried into his shoes.
Mother and son headed toward the Uchiha clan district.
Morning sun filled the streets.
As they walked, Naruto noticed something strange—
Villagers they passed greeted them warmly and respectfully.
"Good morning, Lady Kushina!"
"Good morning, young master Naruto!"
People who would normally glare or avoid him now smiled like spring breeze.
Naruto felt awkward at first… then a warm, swelling happiness bloomed in him.
He stood straighter and answered every greeting with a bright grin.
In the seats, the three watchers exchanged complicated looks.
Kushina led Naruto through winding streets until they reached a broad area.
The buildings were neat and old-fashioned. The air felt different from the rest of Konoha.
Uchiha fans—the clan crest—were everywhere.
Naruto followed Kushina onto a stone path. Many clan members in formal clothes were walking the same direction.
He looked around in amazement. This was his first time in the Uchiha district for a gathering.
Weirdly, he felt the place was unfamiliar.
Different from what he dimly remembered the Uchiha area looking like.
But he couldn't say why.
Maybe I've just never been here before…
He scratched his head and kept up.
But as they entered, Sasuke's eyes widened. He jumped up, voice shaking.
"No. That's not right!"
He pointed at the screen, frantic. "That isn't our district! The buildings, the roads—none of it matches!"
"Everything about the Uchiha in Naruto's dream is wrong!"
Kakashi stood too, frowning. "Calm down, Sasuke. What you're seeing… isn't wrong."
He looked back to the screen, and the streets shown there—strange to Sasuke—hit Kakashi like a memory returning.
He had been here before, years ago, with Minato-sensei.
Obito's house had been near here…
Sorrow flickered through him.
Then Kakashi explained quietly, "Sasuke, that's the Uchiha clan's original district."
"Original…?" Sasuke froze.
Sakura stared between them blankly. "What do you mean original district? I don't get it at all…"
Kakashi raised a hand for calm. "The Uchiha used to live in the village center, near the Hokage Tower. Later, for… certain reasons, they were moved to the edge of the village."
He paused, then continued carefully, "So what Naruto's dream is showing is the Uchiha's old location. Sasuke, it's normal you don't recognize it. You were too young to remember."
"Old location…" Sasuke repeated, shaken.
He tried to picture childhood fragments—but nothing came.
All he remembered was living on the village outskirts… until the night his life ended.
His fist tightened in his pocket.
Kakashi didn't say more. But inside he was stunned.
Even the Uchiha relocation site before the move was shown accurately…
Naruto could never know that.
So how was this dream painting it so real?
