One night , Alex tells Debbie he needs space , "I think we're moving too fast" He says gently. Debbie's world shatters. She thought he was THE ONE .She pours her heart out to him beg him to stay .... but Alex was done. He walks away, leaving Debbie broken.
She spends weeks in pieces, wondering what went wrong . Her friends rally around her, forcing her to eat ice cream and watch rom coms . Slowly, she picks up the shards of her heart... and learns to move on.
But just as she's healing, Alex reappears, looking sheepish . "Hey, can we talk ? "he asks. Debbie's heart flutters.... and then she remember the pain .She slammed the door shot literally and figuratively.
