Gideon suddenly smiled.
Not because he was offended.
But because he had expected exactly this answer.
In fact, hearing it made him more optimistic.
Because rejection meant failure.
Indifference meant uncertainty.
But negotiation meant interest.
And Kiara was negotiating.
Probably because of what he said about Arceus.
Or probably because he impressed her with the analysis.
Whatever the case, at the very least, she atleast now considers him as a potential husband.
And he intends to strike the iron when it is already hot.
The prince slowly rose to his feet.
The chair scraped lightly against the polished floor.
"Of course, I'm prepared for that as well."
His smile widened.
"That is why I prepared something else."
Kiara raised an eyebrow.
Something else?
As soon as the prince cut off the supply of ether to the barrier, it collapsed into fragments of light and disappeared.
"Follow me."
Without waiting for an answer, Gideon then turned and walked toward the exit.
