Lin Wei gathered the courage "hi" he greeted softly.
Xiao Yu turned her head slightly. Her voice was calm, distant. "Hello."
Lin Wei's lips curved into a faint, sad smile. "Long time… we haven't seen each other." he felt a huge discomfort that he never felt, as if he is meeting a completely new persons…She blinked once, cold and steady. "Do we know each other?" The words hitted Lin Wei like a blow. He froze, confused, he again asked, worries in his face "I…I'm... Lin Wei. Remember? We used to be friends in high school…" Xiao Yu, her tone didn't change, she replied... "Sorry. Is there a misunderstanding here? I have never seen you" The air seemed like vanished somewhere between them.
Lin Wei's heart shattered quietly. He couldn't find any words, he again asked, fear in his voice, his heart aching, it was shattered "remember we used to be friends…Su Yao, Ji Yu, Du—". Xiao Yu interrupted his words, "do I have to repeat?... I am Sure I have clearly said I don't know you!" she said coldly. Lin Wei stood there confused…froze on his place…
You really can't remember me… or are you just refusing to?
The question echoed in his mind, unanswered.
The event gradually faded into evening.
People began to leave.
Lin Wei and Xiao Yu walked out around the same time, yet worlds apart.
Xiao turned right, walking toward her car without giving a glance to Lin Wei.
Lin Wei stood still, watching her go, his gaze heavy, his chest froze. He had never imagined meeting her again like this.
Then, he lowers his head—A flicker of memory.
Xiao Yu, her shiny hair tied neatly into a ponytail, catching Sunlight with every small movement. Her school uniform crisp, her smile bright and energetic. She waves—
that same gentle wave, full of warmth, full of life.
He gets back to reality, he sees differences, in the old Xiao he once knew, energetic happy, caring, a person who gives comfort and the one he met now, cold, emotionless and not a single. He wonders "you really don't know me? Or I saw wrong…. No, it can't be wrong at all…. if I am right…then why are you like this…. I wish and hope… to see you soon... Xiao Yu".
He was back, in the silence of the night alone with nothing but the fading echo of her name in his mind "Xiao Yu…we all miss you…will we meet again… how do you not know me... or acting like that…" he murmured-
After long thinking of her… he gradually falls asleep.
Meanwhile-
Xiao Yu in living room, working on her laptop, unbothered…or maybe she is…
She kept working with her laptop.
Suddenly—
The house bell rang...
It was midnight around three AM at night
She looked at the door calmly, she stood up, walking toward the main door, not a flicker of reaction in her nor a word....
She opened the door—
dark eyes, black hair, wearing a white shirt and black pant Suitcase in his hand "Surprise" (said brother of Xiao Yu, Xiang Yu)
Xiao Yu looked at him without a flicker of reaction, she walked back to the coach, took her laptop on her lap, and started working on it…
Xiang Yu carried his Suitcase with him, entered the house closed the door behind him... he put the Suitcase aside and walks to Xiao Yu and sits beside her.
Silence was between them, so he spoke up. "Sister, can you leave your work aside… we haven't met for so long time." Xiao Yu looked at him, "what do you want than" asked Xiao Yu without a single reaction.
Xiang Yu frustrated, replied "dear sis, stop being so cold, I hate it... your silence is annoying me." Xiao Yu silent "is it my problem that you are talkative." Xiang Yu sighed, "sisterrrrrrrrrrrr
…never mind. I ll go put my clothes and settle things in my room" he grabbed his Suitcase and went to his room. Xiao Yu didn't even look at him and continued her work.
Time passed rapidly, eventually light started rising. Xiao Yu working saw the lights coming, she turned her head to the window. Xiang Yu gets out of his room, looked at the coach to see his sister, he got curious, did she not sleep? Xiang Yu called out Xiao Yu's name, Xiao Yu turned her head to him. Xiang Yu spoke up asking "did you sleep?" Xiao Yu looked at him for a second silently thinking, then she answered "…I was working on important thing." Xiang Yu replied with "ohh" his tune was not convinced. Xiao Yu got up from her place and walked towards her room, Xiang Yu walked to her and asked "sis..hmm you know I have girlfriend…mmmm I want you to meet her" expecting something good to hear… she replied "not interested" Xiang Yus heartfelt ache … he smiled in pain, and said "well.. then ca n I bring her over…I mean ssor"— then he got interrupted by Xiao Yu "I don't care, do as you wish." He felt swallowed, but he again spoke up "where will you eat" then Xiao Yu replied "I ordered food for me" then he left the house after few second while being sad.
Lin Wei in his office, searching for documents, he called his assistant, the assistant jiao came to him as he called "yesterday I putted a box here where is it" he looked serious and worried. Jiao replied to him "ohh..that box, I putted it in the storage…I thought you don't need I—" Lin Wei interrupted in frustration "you do you keep doing things that I told you not to… bring it to me NOW." He was furious like it was an important thing. After a moment jiao bought the box gave it to Lin Wei and left. Lin Wei touched the box like it was a part of his soul, he opened the box slowly, photos of memories Xiao Yu and him in the photo she was Smiling her face was shining, he slowly picked the photo then looked at the other photo, Du Lin, Ji Yu, Su Yao, Xiao Yu and him everyone Smiling, in the beach looking at how happy they were and the smiles in the photo, his heart felt ache.. "Xiao Yu, no one talks about you ...but deep down…we miss you and wish your return...…without you everything feels incomplete…" he mumbled. He kept looking at the pictures and then putted back the photos. He got a call, he quickly rushed out with the box, sat on the driving seat, and started driving on full speed. He put the box aside, he opened the car drawyer, revealing a mysterious mask, he put it on his face, hiding his face beneath it. He reached where he wanted to be. He put his hand under the driving seat and got a gun... revealing a hidden pocket. He puts it in his belt, gets out of the car and closes it behind him. He ran making Sure to not make any sound towards an abandoned warehouse. He was walking past trying to find a way to get in, to Suddenly see Ji Yu standing there. Both nodded at each other, Suddenly Lin Wei heard a familiar voice, it was Du Lin, everyone was connected to a device which everyone had put inside their ears before coming. Du Lin speaks up "there is no much ways, but one behind this house, a wall its not so high, so you should go and try" helping them by getting into the cameras of around. Lin Wei speaks up "I ll go inside through that way, I will get the people distracted, Ji Yu you come behind me after and rescue Su Yao" Ji Yu from the other side nods. They both walk silently. Lin Wei jumps from the wall, and the guard in there starts fighting. A guard ran forward and threw a punch at his face. He noticed it just in time and stepped aside. The guard stumbled, and before he could turn, he got hit hard in the back and fell to the floor by the kick from Lin Wei. Another guard came running with a metal rod. Lin Wei blocked it with his arm and kicked the man in the stomach. The rod dropped, clanging on the ground. He grabbed it and hit another guard who was trying to sneak up from behind. Two went down but more came at once. At this time Ji Yu took the advantage and got into the warehouse by the wall, he slowly gets inside making Sure not a single sound to come out. He reached his destiny, he saw Su Yao, her hand tied and her mouth sticked with tape.
Meanwhile
Lin Wei moved fast, blocking hits, dodging kicks. His fist slammed into one man's jaw, then his elbow hit another's shoulder. They tried to Surround him, shouting, but he didn't stop moving. One by one, they fell. Some hit the wall, some dropped to the floor. Lin Wei quickly walked the place where Su Yao was, Ji Yu untied her hands and took off the tape. They all started to walk up, but people Surrounded them. Lin Wei, Su Yao and Ji Yu stood still together, waiting for their move.
Everyone Surrounded them and rushed forward to attack. Lin Wei moved first. A guard swung at him, Lin Wei caught the man's fist and twisted it before punching him hard in the chest. The guy flew back into two others. Another came from the side Lin Wei dodged, grabbed his arm, and threw him over his shoulder. He sighed.
Then Ji Yu wasn't far behind.
He blocked a hit with his forearm and kicked the guys leg, making him drop to one knee.
Two more came at him — he Ducked under their swings and hit both with fast punches.
He moved quick, sharp and focused.
While-- Su Yao stood her ground.
A guy tried to grab her arm, but she spun and kicked him in the side. Another came close, she Ducked low, then hit him right under the chin.
Her moves were clean and fast, every strike where it needed to be.
The guys tried to push them closer, shouting as they attacked again. Lin Wei stepped forward, taking most of them head-on. He grabbed a metal pipe from the ground and swung it once, three guards fell in a single hit. Ji Yu jumped in blocking and striking with quick hits, while Su Yao kicked another man off balance.
The fight was loud, the sound of metal, footsteps, and shouts echoing through the warehouse.
But soon, one by one, the guards stopped getting up.
When the last one fell, silence filled the space again. Su Yao wiped sweat from her forehead. Ji Yu was breathing hard but smiling a little. Lin Wei sighed, looked around at the fallen guards and said quietly,
"didn't I tell you guys to not come alone?" Ji Yu and Su Yao got silent, Lin Wei again spoke up "I am talking to you too Du Lin" he sighed "ayy Du Lin where are" Ji Yu replied "he probably now has reached." Suddenly the voice of Du Lin came "reached already." Said Du. Lin Wei spoke up "lets walk and have a talk while reaching the car." The walked together while adjusting their clothes making Sure their clothes look perfectly fine. Lin Wei spoke up asking "so how you guys reached here". Then Ji Yu answered "while we were searching and finding things, we found that the CEO of LD abuses the daughter, so we actually were rescuing her, and somehow reached here" then Du Lin continued "well she is safe now, I took her to a good orphanage." Lin Wei speaks up "oh looks like my child's have finally grown up, proud of you child's." Everyone's eyebrows pulled together slightly, one arching higher than the other. Their eyes narrowed, sharp with confusion and a bit of disbelief. His lips pressed into a thin Line, tilting just a little to the side, like he wasn't Sure what he just heard. The look on his face said it all they commented "Seriously?" Everyone chuckled. Ji Yu hit on Lin Weis head and runs to the car. And then everyone runs towards the car building a happy memory.
Everyone got in the car, Lin Wei put his gun and mask back, the med kit was there, they all applied medicine on their small wounds and bandaged themselves. Su Yao, her eyes Suddenly got onto the boss, she curiously grabbed the box and opened it, her smile disappeared, her heart was hurt with pain aching just after seeing their photos together with Xiao Yu. Everyone noticed it, their smiles disappeared too. "I wonder how is she doing…," said Ji Yu. The car filled with silence in a second… Lin Wei wanted to speak up and talk about it…but he couldn't take the courage to speak up. Breaking the silent Du Lin spoke up "let's go to a refreshing place" Lin Wei turned his head, turned on the engine and started driving.
in a café.
Xiang Yu sitting with a girl(Yu Xin girlfriend of Xiang Yu, she is beautiful calm Smiling softly) he asks Yu Xin to meet his sister, but gets rejected by Yu Xin "no I won't…I have never met her…but she is really scary" …then she shivers off the conversation and asks in worry "did you tell your sister, that you felt so many times that someone is stalking you?" Xiang Yu sighed "it was just one or two time, are you still thinking about it come on" Suddenly Xiang you see a familiar faces outside the café, it was Lin Wei and his friends. He recognized them as Xiao Yus friends, he gently asked Yu Xin, if he can ask them to join…Yu Xin didn't mind and nodded while sipping her tea.
Xiang Yu loudly waved his hand as they got in the café. Lin Wei and his friends turned their heads to the sound, seeing him waving, they got flash back of him with his sister Xiao Yu, and they have already hanged out before alone…. They looked at him in disbelief, they gave eyes to each other… their heart frozen…they walked towards Yu Xin and Xiang Yu, still in disbelief, they sat with them. The silence filled the air again. But Xiang Yu spoke "so many years haven't heard about you all at all... ugh even sister never talked about you. That's annoy---." He gets silent as well as everyone, he looks at Lin Wei and others reaction, he the hesitantly says… "don't tell me... you guys…bro—" Lin Wei interrupts before him finishing "yes we had broken up" everyone smiled with a fake smile, while Xiang Yu looked heartbroken then he faked smile too, while Yu Xin unbothered. Xiang Yu spoke up… "can't I stay you guys… like before…" everyone chuckled "we don't mind at all as long as you don't" Xiang Yu smiled with joy.
They were sipping their coffees, when Suddenly --- Su Yao spoke up hesitantly, "well... Xiang …ummm...is your…doing ...well" then she smiled, Linn Wei, Du Lin and Ji Yu have seen through her smile. Xiang at that moment looked at them, thought something and replied... "yep she is doing fine." everyone nodded Smiling. Then Xiang Yu spoke up again "ohh sorry... I forgot to Introduce her" he points at Yu Xin "she is my girlfriend..." Ji Yu stared at them... and spoke up "Yu guys are even younger then me!!!!!...h..---" before he continues Du Lin shuts his mouth with his hand and other nodded as a greet to her, and she nodded back. Du Lin took his hand. Ji Yu spoke up after nodding "I don't know how to talk Hehe" he smiled embarrassed.
Thire conversation ended and somehow Xiang convinced Yu Xin to meet Xiao Yu the next day. Everyone left their houses…eventually the day ended. Lin Weis mind thinking about Xiao…and others hoping to meet her…
A new day... the bright Sun rising slowly. Xiao at her room with her high neck, long sleeve shirt, as usual, and her long pants. She was taking out her clothes from the closet... to Suddenly hear the bell ringing. She stops her work and closes the closet... she walks outside her room closing the room door behind her. not a single reaction from her, she opened the door... it was Yu Xin, wearing a black dress and simple makeup and her hair opened breathing... Yu Xin hesitantly greeted "hi..." Xiao Yu didn't answer but opened the door widely for her to enter.. Yu Xin got confused…but she spoke up "how do you... know…Xiang Yu never showed Yu my face…" Xiao Yu stared at her eyes silently "who will come this morning that ready in me house." Yu Xin smiled awkwardly then looking around. Xiao Yu then asked Lin Wei to follow her, and she did. Xiao spoke up "There is the couch and the tv. Do whatever you want. Xiang Yu went outside. I ll have my leave to shower" Yu Xin gave a fake smile before Xiao Yu leaving. She sat on the couch uncomfortable and insecure waiting for Xiang Yu. The time passed after around 20 min, Xiang Yu opened the door, groceries on his hands his eyes went on Yu Xin, he smiled. Yu Xin walked quickly to him, but Xiang Yu spoke up before Yu Xin "well I bought someone with me..." he moved inside giving path to the person behind, he is Lin Wei.
