The scene of the radical assassination.
The demigod responsible for protecting Duke Bowen tonight is none other than Prince Berg of the royal family.
Of the four assassins, only Enoch was a Sequence 6, while the other three were Sequence 7 and Sequence 8. With this demigod around, they had absolutely no chance of succeeding.
The assassins had already been captured, but at that moment, another leader of the radical faction, Celt, walked into the ballroom as if walking into a trap.
Before Duke Bowen could say anything, he spoke first: "Prince Berg, your daughter is in our hands."
"If we don't leave Azshara within half an hour, my men will kill her."
Duke Bowen immediately realized something was wrong; Prince Berg doted on his daughter, a fact known throughout Azshara.
Sure enough, Prince Berg appeared in the ballroom immediately after hearing what the other party said.
This was a nobleman who looked to be around fifty years old, with some graying temples. Although his expression was relatively calm, there was a clear sense of urgency in his eyes.
Odis, who had been invisible, whispered, "This assassination drama is even more exciting than I expected."
Klein smiled but said nothing.
At this moment, Celt said again, "Let us go. After we leave Azshara, we will release your daughter!"
Duke Bowen asked, "How did you know it was Prince Berg who would come to stop your assassination?"
Selt smiled before saying, "Just as you knew about our assassination plan long ago, we also knew about yours."
As he spoke, he glanced at a somewhat disheveled nobleman in the corner of the ballroom.
The nobleman immediately flew into a rage, shouting, "Selter! Don't frame me! The Dominic family has no traitor like you!"
The person Selt was looking at was his own second uncle, currently the highest-ranking official in their family.
Duke Bowen's face was grim, and he said nothing, but those who knew him well knew that his second uncle, Selt, was definitely out of a job and might even face imprisonment.
As for the Dominic family, due to the long-standing intermarriages among nobles and the mediation of other nobles, they should not suffer too serious a blow.
Prince Berg then said in a somewhat hoarse voice, "You may leave."
"But if I catch you next time, I won't be so polite."
Selt gave Prince Berg a standard noble salute, then waved to Enoch and the others who had regained their freedom. The group immediately left, boarded the carriage that had been prepared in advance, and sped away.
Odis and Klein immediately gave chase, realizing that the play was not over yet.
Inside the spacious carriage, Selt poured a glass of wine for each of the other four men, then gave a wry smile and said, "The radicals are finished."
The people in the carriage, along with those controlling Prince Berg's daughter outside the city, were key members of two factions within the radical faction.
At this point, they had to leave Remburg as soon as possible and go into exile in other countries, and were essentially no longer able to interfere in Remburg's affairs.
Enoch and the others also had gloomy faces, holding their drinks but not drinking them for a long time.
"Just a little bit short," Enoch said in a slightly hoarse voice. "Just a tiny bit short."
Selt coldly replied, "Don't you understand? That 'little bit' is the difference between Sequence 6 and Sequence 4!"
Enoch opened his mouth, but said nothing more.
The other three were also somewhat disappointed with their leader and the operation he had planned.
They had come prepared to die for this assassination, but once the assassination began, they realized the gap between themselves and demigods.
Enoch, as the leader, failed to make a clear judgment on this crucial issue!
It's not entirely Enoch's fault, after all, he's only a Sequence 6. If he had met a demigod as an opponent before, he would have been dead long ago. If they weren't enemies, he wouldn't be able to directly feel the terror of the demigod.
After that, the group said nothing more, and the carriage quickly left Azshara without encountering any obstacles.
On the eastern outskirts of Azshara, a radical's carriage was parked. Upon seeing Celt and his group, the carriage door opened, and three young nobles and a richly dressed girl of about sixteen or seventeen years old stepped out.
A young nobleman with a scar on his face smiled and said to another handsome nobleman, "Francis, say goodbye to your fiancée."
The handsome nobleman said apologetically to the young woman, "I'm sorry, Monica, although I love you very much, I love our country even more."
Monica, Prince Berg's beloved daughter, said somewhat indignantly, "Francis, I never expected you to be a radical!"
Just as Francis was about to say something, Selt rolled down the car window and said, "Francis, now is not the time to say goodbye. We need Miss Monica to take us to the border."
After saying that, he got out of the car and bowed to Monica: "I'm sorry, Miss Monica, for dragging you into this. We had no other choice."
"Take your anger out on me. I'm the one who forced Francis to do this."
Not far away, Odis, who was still invisible, said to Klein, "This Celt is more mature. The radicals should make him their leader, instead of having three factions with inconsistent ideologies as they are now."
Klein, who was wearing Gehrman Sparrow's face, said, "People like Enoch are at an age where no one admires anyone else. The fact that there are three leaders shows that these three leaders are all quite capable."
Odis nodded: "You're right."
Then he said, "It's a pity that Selt is still too naive."
"If you were Selt, what would you do?"
Klein thought for a moment and said, "I will flee to my own territory, rather than prepare to leave Lenburg."
Then he asked, "And you?"
Odis had just introduced Celt to Klein, and Klein knew that he was the governor of the state of Shattrath.
Odis replied, "I will escape alone as soon as possible."
He smiled and said, "They are still too young, or rather, they are still too low-level to understand what a demigod means."
Klein paused for a moment before saying, "You are a qualified politician."
Odis smiled again and continued watching the show.
The two carriages continued on their way, and after traveling for more than half an hour, they had reached the wilderness without encountering any obstacles.
Just as they lowered their guard, the carriages of the two horses suddenly fell apart without warning.
The wooden planks of the carriage even flew quite a distance!
Before the nine people in the carriage could react, they were thrown out by a tremendous force.
In mid-air, Celt and Enoch seemed to understand something and tried desperately to grab Monica, but unfortunately they weren't in the same carriage and couldn't reach her at all.
Soon, eight radical members were forcefully pinned to eight trees by the roadside.
Prince Berg appeared from the other side of the road, followed by a squad of armed soldiers. They seemed to have appeared out of nowhere; neither the coachman nor Celt and the others had noticed them beforehand.
Monica was also thrown out, but only suffered minor injuries.
Upon seeing Prince Berg, Selt, Enoch, and the others turned ashen-faced.
After Prince Berg saw that his daughter was alright, he gave her a reassuring hug and, seeing that she was calm, asked, "Shall we keep Francis?"
Monica glanced at the young nobleman named Francis, and seeing that Francis showed no sign of pleading, she said, "I hate betrayal the most."
Prince Berg nodded to indicate that he understood, and then had his servants take his daughter away.
His expression turned grim: "I will only kill four people, and leave four to complete the mission."
Generally speaking, they are all noble children, and even if Prince Berg captures them, he will try not to kill them. But this time is different. He will definitely kill a few people, since they kidnapped Monica.
Selt sighed and said, "Enoch and I were the instigators. Kill us first."
At this moment, he was utterly despondent, and death was a kind of relief for him.
Prince Berg sneered, "You are the masterminds, of course you can't die."
As he spoke, he looked at Francis.
Selt replied, "If I were alive, I would make Monica commit suicide for Francis."
Prince Berg laughed and said, "Although you may survive, I can guarantee that you will spend the rest of your life in prison and under house arrest."
As he spoke, he waved his hand at Francis, whose face looked as if it had been hit hard, and several of Francis's teeth were knocked out.
But he clearly didn't intend to kill Francis immediately; instead, he planned to torture him.
Francis's screams echoed through the night streets.
Prince Berg said to the others, "You can beg for mercy at any time. Whoever begs for mercy or confesses first will live."
Although the others looked fearful, some even closing their eyes, none of them confessed.
Not far away, Odis took out a mask, put it on, and said, "After this test, they can put away their last bit of innocence."
Klein asked, "Do you need any help?"
"It shouldn't be necessary." Odis took out the "1-86" Ironblood Gauntlets from the "Wilderness of Knowledge".
As he spoke, he suddenly looked at Prince Berg, his eyes no longer showing the leisurely air he had before, and a flame seemed to suddenly ignite in his pupils.
Prince Berg immediately sensed the presence of a demigod and released Celt and the others, looking in the direction of Odis.
Selt and the others immediately lost the immense force that had pinned them to the tree, and their feet touched the ground, while Francis, who was already in a semi-conscious state, lay directly on the ground.
Immediately afterwards, Celt and the others saw countless fireballs suddenly appear in mid-air, illuminating the entire night sky.
Whoosh~ Boom~
These fireballs were like heavy bombs, covering an area of several kilometers around.
Celt and the others couldn't help but raise their hands; it was an instinctive reaction, even though they knew they were powerless to stop the fireballs.
But they soon discovered that the fireballs seemed to have eyes, completely bypassing them.
Not only did they bypass them, but although the ordinary soldiers were immediately thrown into chaos, they were also spared from the fireballs.
All the fireballs were aimed at Prince Berg, blasting a crater more than three meters deep around him, and flames raged for several kilometers around him.
But Prince Berg managed to escape the fireballs by "imprisoning" himself.
Emerging from the flames was a masked man in a Rune-style trench coat, seemingly devoid of any expression.
Prince Berg said, "Your Excellency, this is Remenberg's internal affair..."
Odis gripped his gauntlets tightly and charged forward.
Prince Berg quickly raised his hand: "Exile!"
His spiritual senses indicated that the gauntlet was extremely dangerous!
Odis was driven away by the power of "exile," as if he were getting further and further away from the real world.
He drew the "Scepter of Disaster" from his waist, and a hurricane blew open the door to the real world, violently blowing Odis toward Prince Berg.
Just as Prince Berg was about to use his "Death" ability, Odis used "Teleport" to appear in front of him. The punch that could ignore all defenses still hit Prince Berg.
This is the "critical strike" ability that comes with the "Iron-Blooded Gauntlets." Prince Berg was hit in the cheek and sent flying.
However, he quickly regained his balance and landed on the ground, but his entire chin was almost knocked off, and his face was severely deformed.
Although it wasn't a fatal injury, he glanced at the "Iron Gauntlets" and the "Disaster Scepter" and then turned and left.
Prince Berg realized that the opponent's attacks all came from sealed artifacts, and the opponent had not yet used their own abilities. He knew he was no match for them, so he decided to leave quickly and seek support.
The soldiers had been terrified by the fireball bombardment and fled in panic, many even abandoning their weapons.
Celt and the others looked at the mysterious man in front of them with some awe. Just as they were about to speak, a hurricane suddenly came from all directions and blew them together.
Immediately afterwards, Odis pulled out the "Staff of Gus" and "reappeared" the Kunpeng. A large fish that looked somewhat like a whale appeared under everyone's feet. Its body was covered with green, blue and white patterns that formed an oriental charm.
Its fins are very large, spreading out like wings, and on its back are two huge wings almost as big as its body.
These wings, brightly colored and shrouded in mist, constantly emitted a sacred and radiant light.
In the blink of an eye, they were already hundreds of kilometers away.
Although the "Kunpeng" disappeared immediately, Klein was able to see its appearance clearly and felt that this extraordinary creature seemed to have a unique oriental charm.
However, he did not associate it with the Kunpeng, because there are many magical creatures in the spirit world with all sorts of strange appearances, so he did not immediately make an association with the mythical creatures of the East.
Klein remained invisible throughout, and Celt and the others were completely unaware that there was a demigod among them.
Upon arriving at their destination, Odis immediately took out the sealed artifact and began to heal Francis's injuries.
Francis's wounds were almost completely healed in no time, and he was out of that semi-comatose state.
Selt then said, "Thank you for your help. How can we repay you?"
He knew very well that the person in front of him was a demigod, but he did not know what a demigod needed.
Odis then removed his mask and smiled, saying, "I told you, I would provide some protection to the radicals."
Selt breathed a sigh of relief; at least he knew he wasn't in a more dangerous situation now.
Then he was somewhat surprised, because he never expected that Odis was actually a demigod!
Enoch also recognized Odis and recalled Odis's previous astrological prediction that his mission was doomed to failure, but that he and his companions would be rescued by a mysterious figure in a moment of crisis.
He had no idea that the mysterious person was the astrologer who had been standing in front of him.
Then, after hearing Selt's introduction, Enoch realized that this was the governor of Wotai!
Odis added, "You radicals owe me a personal favor."
Selt immediately replied, "Of course, I will seriously consider how to repay this favor."
At the same time, he was already thinking about how to completely win over Odis and make him a backer of the radicals.
Today's experience made him realize that only with the support of a demigod could the radicals in Remenberg have a basic voice.
Then Odis asked, "What are your plans after this?"
The group fell silent, realizing that the key issue now was not their plans, but Odis's attitude.
If Odis expressed support for the radicals, then they wouldn't need to flee at all; they could simply hide their tracks.
But if Odis did not support the radicals, they would continue their escape.
Finally, Celt said, "We plan to hide for now. Hmm... we can go to Solothu. I've been operating there for so long, even if I'm not the governor anymore, hiding there shouldn't be any problem."
Odis shook his head and said, "That's not a good idea."
Selt immediately asked, "What do you think we should do?"
"Go and take control of Solothu, and immediately declare that Solothu will no longer accept any decrees from the current Minister of the Interior," Odis said. "You must find a way to let the officials and nobles of Azshara know that you are not opposing the King, but the current Minister of the Interior."
"And he said that a Home Secretary should be chosen that is also approved by the radicals!"
"As long as you keep the state guard under control, you are safe for the time being."
Selt was stunned: "With the military strength of an entire state..."
At this point, he immediately thought of the tense international situation in recent years, with most of Lenburg's troops stationed on the northern and southern borders to defend against a surprise attack on Azshara by the Kingdom of Feneport and the Republic of Intis.
This is why they intend to allow several states in the western provinces to be autonomous, because they simply have no troops left to deploy.
Then Selt asked, "And then?"
"Then you must adopt a very resolute stance and express your political views to the king." Odis smiled and said, "Of course, your use of the 'explosion scroll' in the ballroom tonight has caused a very bad influence."
"However, you can describe this in another way, that you had already guessed that Duke Bowen was prepared, which is why you used the 'explosive scroll'."
"But unexpectedly, Duke Bowen did not rescue everyone, which is why such a large number of casualties occurred."
Selt and the others were stunned; they hadn't expected the matter to be explained this way!
They knew very well that although such an explanation seemed like sophistry, it would definitely cause many politicians and nobles to question the Duke of Bowen and cause dissatisfaction.
Klein, who was invisible, thought to himself: Are you sure you didn't drink the "Instigator" potion?
"Of course, all of this is predicated on the protection of a demigod," Odis continued. "I can provide the protection, but not free of charge, including tonight's rescue."
At this point, Celt and the others became somewhat nervous, unable to guess what conditions Odis would offer.
Selt took a deep breath before asking, "What do you need us to do?"
Odis glanced at the young nobles before saying, "I will become the behind-the-scenes leader of the radicals, and you will all be under my command."
This condition surprised everyone.
But Selt quickly followed up with, "What are your political demands?"
"Let Remenberg achieve the separation of royal power and political power," Odis said. "Our political demands are actually quite similar, except that my goal is to realize some of my ideas more quickly and bring Remenberg into a completely new phase."
"Because of the experiment in Wotai State, it is certain that Lundberg will become stronger after going through this process."
"Although many new problems may arise then, it will certainly be better than the current situation."
Selt immediately replied, "I have no objection."
As he spoke, he looked at Enoch.
He made his decision so quickly because he had witnessed the rapid development of Vorte and the new tools and weapons invented by Odis.
In the past, he probably wouldn't have agreed, but now that he knew Odis was a demigod, he agreed almost immediately.
Because he knew very well that under such circumstances, Odis becoming the leader of the radicals would allow the radicals to have a longer-term development.
Enoch had only heard of Vouttia's achievements and knew only that he was a very capable governor.
However, since they hadn't had much contact before, he wouldn't hesitate to pay for saving his life, but he couldn't accept the sudden need to acknowledge Odis as the leader.
At this moment, Selt said to him, "Without the secret support of the demigods, we can only continue to run away, because Prince Berg only needs one person to go to Solothu and wipe us all out."
Enoch paused for a moment, then suddenly realized that even if he didn't accept Odis as the leader of the radicals, he would most likely have to obey him if he wanted his support.
So he stopped worrying about it: "I have no objection either."
Selt added, "There is another faction of radicals, but they did not participate in tonight's operation."
"The leader of that faction is Clarence of the El family. We will write to him to tell him our decision, but we can't make the decision for him."
"It's alright," Odis smiled. "As long as he's willing to continue cooperating with you."
He paused for a moment and then said, "So, as the new leader, my first order is that Enoch will henceforth obey Celt, because Celt performed very well in tonight's operation."
Enoch was somewhat reluctant, but quickly replied, "Okay."
He had to admit that he was able to escape Azshara today thanks to Celt.
Odis hummed in agreement and then said to Celt, "I'll give you a crystal ball. As long as you infuse it with your spirit, I can sense it and appear in the shortest possible time."
"Do you know how to summon a messenger? Yes, an extraordinary messenger. If it's not too urgent, you can write to me."
Selt carefully put away the method of summoning the messenger and the crystal ball.
Odis then said to everyone, "The specific cleanup operations will be arranged by Celt."
As he spoke, he used an invisibility spell and disappeared from their sight.
Selt and the others were stunned for a moment, as if they were just realizing that their new leader had already left.
While invisible, Odis and Klein watched them discuss their next move.
After watching for a few minutes, Odis said, "I don't know what's been going on with you lately that makes you so down."
"The purpose of inviting you to see this play is to let you see the potential power of this world."
He paused slightly and then said, "Before I came to Lombardy, my impression of this country was that it was a small country, with a decent industrial sector, but politically it was practically a vassal state of Rune."
"At the time, I thought this must be a lifeless and stagnant country."
"After meeting the political figures here, I realized that this country also has its own unique vitality. Some people hope that this country will become better and are working hard to make it better."
"When I feel a little tired, I think of them, and suddenly I realize that I am not the only one working hard in this world; it also has its own vitality."
Klein looked at the people in front of him and was somewhat moved by Odis's words.
Before this, apart from a few people who were close to him, he always felt that everyone else was an NPC.
Of course, he was well aware that his thoughts were wrong, but he just felt that those people's life trajectories were far removed from his own.
He had this thought because the way of life in this world was very different from the life he remembered, which made it difficult for him to empathize with it.
As Odis said, after witnessing the assassination today, he suddenly realized that regardless of whether he had traveled through time or how much influence he had on this world, the world was still moving forward.
He took a deep breath, and instead of feeling discouraged, he felt a surge of power welling up inside him, as if he could suddenly face any challenge and overcome any difficulty.
"Thank you," Klein finally said.
He didn't know why Odis had suddenly become different from before, but he could sense the other's goodwill towards him.
Odis smiled and said, "Alright, it's getting late, we should head back."
Actually, he hadn't intended to have any in-depth contact with Klein before. He was different from Klein; he had been here for more than two years longer and had already come to regard this place as his second home.
It was only after seeing the word "hometown" that a wave of homesickness washed over him, which sparked his desire to get to know Klein better.
After returning to Backlund, the two went their separate ways.
When Odis returned to the Remnburg Embassy and was about to rest, he suddenly thought that he could record the recent experiences of Celt and Enoch as part of his observations on their fates and as supplementary material.
So he went to his office and spent the night recording his observations about the two men.
It was almost midnight when Odis returned to his bedroom to rest. He lay on the bed and took a deep breath, feeling that he had handled the radicals very well that day, and from then on he had a political base in Remenberg.
The next morning around 7 a.m., Odis got up and, after confirming that he was in good condition, went to the Church of St. Muselle.
The church was not yet open, but Odis used his "teleportation" ability to enter the empty chapel and pray to the "Black Night Emblem," asking which church he should ascend to.
Odis was given instructions: "Go to the Church of Tranquility."
Odis took a deep breath. That was the headquarters of the Church of the Goddess of Night, said to be on the site of the former "Deep Dark Heaven".
So Odis first entered the "Wilderness of Knowledge" and made some arrangements, then went to find Bernadette and came to Backlund together, and then summoned the messenger.
This wasn't the first time Bernadette and the messenger Ellebella had met, but they still sized each other up.
Next, Odis "recreated" Suzaku and arrived deep in the Amanda Mountains of Wintershire.
The three of them appeared on a mountain peak covered with deep sleep flowers, and before them lay an eternal night.
The sun had already risen, but they were still in darkness, as if the sunlight could not dispel the starry sky there.
At the boundary between night and sunlight, there is a small city, the final destination for devout believers of the Church of the Goddess of Night, and once the capital of the Kingdom of the Goddess of Night.
Halfway up the mountain in the darkness, there stood a magnificent Gothic church, their destination: the Church of Tranquility.
This church was built in the former kingdom of the "Goddess of Night". Although the "Goddess's" kingdom has now entered the astral plane, it still has an influence on the surrounding environment.
The three then flew to the Church of Tranquility. As soon as they entered the night, they immediately felt their power weaken.
Moreover, this weakening became more pronounced the closer they got to the Church of Tranquility.
But soon, a figure dressed in a simple robe appeared in the square in front of the tranquil church.
That was none other than Abbess Ariana of the Night Monastery. With a wave of her hand toward the three of them, the obvious sense of weakening vanished instantly.
After landing in the square, Odis removed her top hat: "Dean Ariana."
Just as he was about to introduce Ellebella, Ellebella said, "Long time no see, please give my regards to the 'Goddess of the Night'."
"Long time no see," Ariana said. "I'll pass on your greetings."
She continued, "Come with me."
As she spoke, she led the way.
Odis then asked the messenger Elebella, "Do you know each other?"
Ellebella hummed in agreement: "During the Fourth Age, I spent some time in the 'Church of the Night' as an outside helper."
Upon hearing this, Odis sensed there must be a story behind it, but clearly now was not the time to discuss such matters.
Ariana didn't reminisce with Elbera, but instead led them through a side door of the majestic church, down a very quiet corridor, to a room that wasn't very large.
Quietness is the dominant color here. When Odis came in, she clearly saw many people going in and out of the church, but there was no noise from the church.
The room where Odis and the others were located was very simple, with only a carpet on the floor and nothing else.
At the top of the room is a huge, rather imposing emblem of the night.
"This is the meditation chamber," Ariana explained simply. "Only the most devout ascetics can practice asceticism under the watchful eye of the 'goddess'."
Oddess suddenly felt that this place was like a study room, and the Goddess of the Night was somewhat like a teacher maintaining order.
Ariana added, "Once you're ready, you can be promoted."
Odis smiled and said, "Let me prepare the potion first."
As he spoke, he took out the auxiliary materials and extraordinary properties that he had prepared beforehand from the "Knowledge Wilderness".
Since there wasn't even a table in the room, Odis had to go to the windowsill to concoct potions.
First, there's his observation of the fates of several people: Celt and Enoch, Alexis, the son of Count Vincent, and a few ordinary people, Nicola and the Godfrey family.
After setting aside the notebook used for observation and recording, Odis took out a clump of liquid that looked like a thin jelly, which seemed as if it could slip through her fingers at any moment.
Gradually, the liquid seemed to form the grooves of the brain, eventually creating the shape of a brain.
This is the "liquid brain of the Phantom Multibodied Worm," an extraordinary creature said to have multiple bodies in gaseous, liquid, and solid states, each corresponding to one of the three types of brains.
The gaseous brain is the primary material for advancing to the "Master of Prophecy," and there is only one gaseous body, while the liquid brain is an auxiliary material, and there are multiple liquid bodies.
The other supplementary material is a small bottle of colored liquid, which is the blood of the "Colorful Pteranodon," a species said to be a branch of the giant dragon that is now basically extinct.
Once the two auxiliary materials are mixed, they immediately begin to stir on their own.
Finally, Odis revealed the extraordinary nature of the "Master of Prophecy," a nature that resembled a rolling mass of gas without substance, occasionally revealing its interior as it rolled—a small starry sky, or a pair of illusory eyes that seemed to see through fate.
Place the extraordinary properties into a beaker and immediately stir silently.
Odis noticed that the notebook containing the fates of several people, which was placed next to the beaker, seemed to move suddenly.
Immediately afterwards, Odis's spirituality seemed to be triggered, and something seemed to be poured into the notebook into a potion.
Odis guessed that it was probably a "disturbance of fate" for several people, but it was an illusory or symbolic supplementary material.
In the end, Odis obtained a potion that resembled a phantom gas.
The gases churned slowly at the bottom of the cup, as if ready to escape at any moment.
Odis held the beaker, glanced at Bernadette, and saw only a hint of worry in her eyes.
Because Odis didn't tell her that the "God of Steam and Machinery" would attack her during her ascension; he only said that she hid here to ascend in order to avoid being found by the "Hidden Sage."
Therefore, Bernadette was not too worried about this promotion, because Odis had been in good condition and there shouldn't be any major problems with the promotion.
Odis then smiled and recalled the ritual for becoming a "Master of Prophecy": based on the clues and conditions obtained, make a prophecy about the future world; the more accurate and clear the prophecy, the better the effect.
His spirituality was so certain that his "prophecy" of Klein's revenge had achieved the effect required for his advancement.
So Odis picked up the beaker, ready to drink the potion.
At this moment, Ariana raised her hand to Odis, who then disappeared from Bernadette and Ellebella's sight as if erased by an eraser.
Immediately afterwards, Bernadette felt an immense sense of oppression, and she quickly realized that the oppression came from the "Black Night Emblem".
The "Goddess of the Night" is watching this place!
Bernadette was surprised and also a little confused. It was only to prevent the "Hidden Sage" from disrupting the advancement process that the "Goddess of the Night" needed to watch over it personally.
The "Hidden Sage" is, after all, an evil god. Once Odis appeared in the Church of Tranquility, there should be no need to worry.
At this moment, she realized that things were not so simple.
...
Odis held the beaker and looked around as the scene around him dimmed considerably. He knew he was currently in the "Hidden World".
At this moment, Odis felt a sense of oppression coming from above. He looked up and found that the "Symbolic Emblem of Night" in the "Hidden World" seemed to be surging with spirituality, making it seem as if it had a life of its own.
As the oppressive feeling grew stronger, Odis knew that the "Goddess of Night" was beginning to watch over them, so he quickly looked away.
Taking another deep breath, Odis brought the beaker to his lips, about to drink, when the ethereal mist at the bottom of the beaker eagerly drifted into his mouth.
He felt a cold breath enter his chest cavity from his throat, causing a sharp pain in his chest and abdomen.
But in the next second, Odis saw a phantom river before her eyes, composed of threads of fate that flowed forward unstoppably.
A rather thick thread, with many points of light, suddenly emerged from a place like the river of fate; it was Odis's prophecy about Klein's revenge!
When the prophecy corresponded to reality, the thread of fate surrounding the prophecy became extraordinary for Odis.
This immediately reminded Odis of the circumstances surrounding the "prophecy" and his involvement in the event.
Based on this, Oddess immediately regained consciousness.
Just as he was figuring out how to get out of there, a voice suddenly rang in his ear: "I've finally waited for you."
Odis was taken aback: "Who?"
"The person you've been on guard against."
"The God of Steam and Machinery?" Odis was somewhat surprised, unable to understand how the other party had entered the "Hidden World" and affected him right under the nose of the "Goddess of Night."
