Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Arrival at Sky Island!

"How is it? Are you getting used to it??"

Reno looked at Black Shadow and Jace, who were at sea for the first time, and asked with concern.

"It's amazing! The air I breathe every day is fresh. This feeling is just fantastic."

Jace spread his arms wide and took a deep breath.

The feeling of freedom made his whole body feel comfortable, and he couldn't help but shout out loud.

"It is indeed nice." Black Shadow, feeling the same way, nodded in agreement.

"After a while, I'll have Roge guide your training."

"Training??"

Jace and Black Shadow's eyes lit up, and they exchanged a tacit glance.

"Captain, no need to wait. The two of us have long been ready."

Jace clenched his fists, unable to wait any longer.

Black Shadow didn't speak, but Reno saw an ambition in his eyes no less than Jace's.

Beside them, Streusen spoke slowly: "With your talents, as long as you train hard, you will definitely become powerhouses in the future."

It had to be said that Reno's eye for people was truly sharp. The talents of the crew members he recruited were higher one after another.

Streusen's words made the two yearn for training even more.

"Don't be in a hurry. It won't be too late to train after we reach our next destination."

"Besides, cultivation isn't something achieved overnight. There's no need to rush."

Reno pressed his hand down, calming the restless pair.

"Captain, how long until we reach our next destination?"

Jace, whose mind was solely on training, asked urgently.

"Captain, where are we going next??"

Understanding the implication, Streusen knew Reno already had an idea in mind.

He considered himself knowledgeable, but he wondered if he had heard of the place they were going to.

Facing everyone's expectant gazes, Reno said word by word: "Next, we are going to Sky Island!"

Sky Island?!

Hearing this name, Streusen immediately frowned.

"Captain, doesn't that place only exist in legends??"

"Does such a place really exist??"

He had heard rumors of Sky Island.

But most claims said that the so-called Sky Island was nothing but a castle in the air, that it didn't exist at all.

Someone must have made it up.

"No, Sky Island is real."

Reno shook his head, responding to Streusen with firm determination.

Because Sky Island existed in the White-White Sea, 10,000 meters above, many people thought it was just a legend and didn't exist.

"Don't worry. It's about a half-month journey. You'll be able to see the legendary Sky Island then."

Hearing Reno's certainty, the half-believing Streusen said no more.

"Is Sky Island a magical place??"

Hearing the conversation between Reno and Streusen, the others who had never heard of Sky Island were puzzled.

"Doesn't matter. As long as I can train in half a month."

Jace, interested only in training, had already begun imagining his training life.

Although he had never been to sea, knowing the dangers of the ocean, he knew he had to improve his strength as soon as possible.

Otherwise, when danger came, he would blame himself if he dragged the crew down.

"Streusen, I'm hungry. Make me something yummy."

Linlin, who had been napping on the deck, suddenly stood up, pointing at her grumbling stomach with a pitiful look.

Upon learning that Streusen was the crew's cook, Linlin had become very familiar with him.

"I'm hungry too. Streusen, make a portion for me as well."

The somewhat shy Black Shadow whispered.

"Okay, okay, okay. I'll go make it right now. Wait for me here."

Helpless, Streusen turned and walked into the kitchen.

The appetites of these people in the pirate crew were truly massive. He spent most of his time in the kitchen.

"Sky Island, huh?? I'm really looking forward to it."

Reno leaned against the railing, gazing into the distance.

There was a reason he chose Sky Island as his first destination after leaving Elbaf.

Sky Island possessed a massive amount of gold, worth at least several hundred billion Berries.

The pirate crew had just been established, and there were many places to spend money. This fund could support them for a long time, covering all their expenses.

They wouldn't have to worry about money for the foreseeable future.

Secondly, there was the training issue for Jace, Black Shadow, and Hajrudin.

Aside from Hajrudin, who had some strength, Jace and Black Shadow's combat power was basically zero in his eyes.

So he planned to train on Sky Island for a period, while also experiencing the local customs and practices there.

"Finally arrived at Jaya Island."

After half a month, the ship finally reached Jaya Island.

Jaya Island is located in the waters of the first half of the Grand Line. Centuries ago, a part of Jaya Island was thrust high into the sky by the Knock Up Stream, becoming part of a Sky Island.

If one wanted to find the Sky Island, Jaya Island was the only coordinate reference.

Reno, Linlin, and the others stood against the wind, the sea breeze blowing against their faces.

"Captain, is this the place??"

"Does... Does the Sky Island really exist??"

Streusen, having been told they were about to reach Sky Island, felt his heart pounding with anticipation.

"Big Brother, is Sky Island a fun place??"

Puzzled, Linlin tilted her head, gazing at the outline of the island appearing ahead.

"Yes, Sky Island is a very fun place, and it's also very beautiful."

"The people up there all have wings."

"Wow! Really?? People with wings??"

Imagining the scene in her head, Linlin's eyes widened instantly.

"I heard Chieftain Jorul mention the existence of Sky Island before, but I've never seen it."

"If we really see Sky Island, I must tell everyone about it when I go back."

Hajrudin, the only one besides Reno who believed in Sky Island's existence, scratched his head expectantly.

"Captain, where is this Sky Island you're talking about? Is it that island ahead??"

Jace shaded his eyes with his hand. In his line of sight, there was only one island ahead.

That had to be it, right?

"Don't worry, you'll see it soon."

As Reno spoke, he looked up at the sky above and said slowly:

"Sky Island is located 10,000 meters directly above us."

Everyone opened their mouths wide, looking incredulously at the empty sky.

"Sky Island is in the sky??"

"Captain, are you serious?"

"Even if it's real, how do we get up there?"

"Roge, we're counting on you for this. You'll have to transform into the Golden Sword-Lion and fly us up."

Linlin: "Thanks for your hard work, Roge!"

Hajrudin: "Thanks for your hard work, Roge!"

Roge: "....."
