Half an hour before exam.
"Welcome! Hero team! This is field alpha! The place where you will take your exam. All hero costumes will be provided and have all been placed in the Hero HQ. Good luck!"
Nezu said and then slammed the giant doors to the fake city.
Shoto was scarred, it was a new feeling. The slight tremble in his hands and the tightening in his chest. He heard Bakugo scream about how they didn't need 1B and how they would be done with the exam before the day was out. Shoto knew how wrong he was, he knew Midoriya he knew the boy who had a secret notebook filled with decisive ways to kill every hero on the ranking board in case they went evil. Notes on his classmates and every teacher here. That's why for the past two weeks he has been training his quirk to the limit, he had already decimated empty cities but this would be different.
He could already see the fake citizens as him, Momo and the class rep for 1B decided to head for the HQ. The city had so much detail he almost thought that they were in the actual city. And as the fighting from the two blondes started to grow loader a sudden flicker in the lights made him pause. Where was Midoriya? A chill ran up his spine as the billboards around the city changed and a single skyscraper had all the lights in it turned off.
"Hello citizens. My name is Didaskalos, I am the villain king of this city. I control the underground and monitor every crime that happens."
A man in a mask and trench coat spoke sounding exactly like Midoriya.
"Momo! We have to hurry!"
Shoto shouted back at the startled girl already running to HQ.
"I am here to inform you from here in the news tower that this week is going to be a little different. I would like to think of myself as a teacher, and some new students have just arrived. But they seem to be running late, such a shame.."
the video seemed to be on every screen in the city and Shoto found this when he was the first one into the HQ. Midoriya was wearing a mask that sent chills through him. Black metal with glowing red eyes. Showed off the intricate crafting of the dragon mask. It gave off the sense of fear and disappointment. For the rest of his top half he was wearing a high collar black trench coat with black gloves. Belts were latched together across his chest for an ascetic and easy movement.
"Today is our first lesson, response and speed. Can the hero's be what they say they are and make it to the tower intime? We will see, for the entire building is still occupied and it's ready to blow."
He gestured lazily behind him at the bound office workers who were tied to a large bomb with a timer.
"Tick tock hero's, I hope you studied."
Izuku smiled at the camera and it shut off leaving the image of two minutes burned into there mind. Now the class of 1A is normally very prepared for mad scrambles to get ready but there building was new and they didn't know where there stuff was. 1B on the other hand had a class mom who was very ready for this. Kendo had asked for blueprints and layouts of the hero HQ and for the fake city so that they were prepared. Kendo and Yanagi have been friends for ages and one thing kendo knew not to write off were her friends gut feelings about people. So when she heard the cute broccoli boy he hilt terrified her it horrified Kendo and she threw her class in to preparing for the final.
Kendo was the first one out and she didn't know that she only had a minute left to get to the building and disarm the bomb. She and her close friends had just gotten within sight of the building when the top part blew off in an explosion. Dust and debris blinded them as shouts of fear and panic erupted. Flashes of light blinded them and dust until Kendo enlarged her hands and sent the dust away. Finally able to see the dropped there jaws in shock. Midoriya was floating in the air with hundreds of tendrils of black whip came out of his right arm. And he was holding up the building. Tendrils held every inch of debris from gaming people and buildings, people had been tugged out of the way and chunks of building were held above them. Kendo was horrified to a moment that these were actual people but then saw that they were robots.
"Lesson failed, over a hundred people dead because you couldn't have the decency to be wary of your enemy. I'll let them off this time but don't mistake me for a kind person. I am Didaskalos, the teacher and king. Let us hope your next lesson you don't fail."
Kendo was too stunned to even react when vines exploded from behind her as they flew for Midoriya and tried to ensnare him. He merely held up his hand and then flicked it down causing blades of wind to cut up the vines. He placed the chunks of building down and then blitzed away. Kendo then unfroze and started commanding her classmates who had arrived to look for any wounded.
They were under the process of helping the injured robots when the sounds of explosions rapidly sounding hit there ears.
"Oí! Fat hands!! Where the hell is deku!?"
Bakugo shouted in her face as he grabbed her collar and yanking her forward. Kendo nearly sucker punched him when he did this but she was told that any attacks in between partners would be eligible for disqualification. She signaled tetsutetsu to lay off who looked infuriated at Bakugo.
"We don't know, he left after blowing up the building."
She replied coldly and Bakugo shoved her back.
"Useless. I find him myself."
Bakugo snarled and jumped up and left with his explosions. Kendo sighed and adjusted her suit, Tetsutetsu came up and put a hand on her shoulder. She knew he wanted to hug her but Hero's are constantly watched so she just gave a heartfelt look. Not knowing in the crowd of people a shadowed figure slinked away.
