Chapter 47 - Full Moon Tide Effect

It was the still the middle of the night when Qiling hear the rush of water coming from the lake. He open his eyes an look at Wu Xie for a moment, who was still sleeping peacefully while holding him under the cover and as gently as he could, he slip from Wu Xie's arms, making him mumble as he carefully moved to unwrap himself from Wu Xie's hold.

Wu Xie protested a bit while in his sleep, but fortunately for Qiling, he did not wake up as he slipped away and out of their sleeping bags bed. He loved Wu Xie's cuddling the best, but the sound of the lake was not normal and if there was something out there that could threaten both Wu Xie and Pangzi's safety, he will make sure to eliminate it to the best of his abilities, so after he give Wu Xie a slight kiss on his forehead, he went out of the tent and walked toward the lake in full guard.

The sound came from the middle of the lake, strong and ominous, while the water sparkle beautifully under the rays of the shining moon, but there were no demons coming out this time, only the sound of what he believed was a tide. One he could not see but hear quite clearly... meaning that the lake was truly deeper than it looked. For them to dive to the bottom, they will need the equipment Wu Xie had asked Xiao Hua, but for it to arrive it make take a few days and they can still explore part of the lake until then.

"Xiaoge..." Wu Xie whisper at his back and Qiling turned to look at him in the light of the moon. His hair was a mess, so were his clothes, but he looked gorgeous to him, while his pale skin was bathed by the platinum light of the moon and his sleepy appearance make him cutter than usual.

"Did I wake you up?" Qiling asked and Wu Xie walked to him, still half asleep to hug him from behind, grabbing his back and close his arms around his waist.

"Not really... you are too good for me to notice you getting away... I just miss your warmth... and I find you gone, so I worry... went out and see you standing here... was it the sound of the lake that wake you?" Wu Xie asked, as he could hear it clearly too.

"Yes." Xiaoge answer and Wu Xie pressed himself closer to Xiaoge.

"Ah, it's good to know... I thought you had another nightmare when I saw you gone... what is that sound?" Wu Xie asked as he let go of Xiaoge and starred at the lake by his side.

"A tide."

"A lake like this had tides? Are you sure?" Wu Xie asked as he walked closer to the water and squatted down to grab some moist soil from the ground.

"Yes."

"Then it must be a siphon effect... this lake must be connected to a bigger river somewhere in it deeps and when the moon gravity comes into effect, it creates a siphon mostly like a flushing toilet, thus the sound of the tide as the water circle into the whirlpool inside."

"Yes."

"Then, we really may need that diving equipment after all, because this only mean that the lake is deep and that had sucked everything close to the siphon into its deep and if it is more than a few meters, it will be hard to retrieve anything from it without an air tank. I will call Xiao Hua in the morning and see if he can send what we need here as soon as possible. Uncle Gui will come back in a few days and maybe by then it may be delivered here, so I will head down and retrieve it from town, then go back here as soon as I have it."

"I will go back with you..."

"That's not necessary, it's only a trip down the mountain and back. I promise I will not slip to my death without you for a day or two." Wu Xie joked and Xiaoge pull Wu Xie close and hug him.

"Don't joke with that..." Xiaoge whisper to his ear and Wu Xie smiled.

"You worry too much, I can handle a walk down, I promise... even Uncle Gui at his age can do that, so can I..." Wu Xie insisted with a hint of embarrassment and Qiling sighed.

"Alright... just promise me you will be careful..." Qiling whisper as he kissed Wu Xie cheek.

"Yeah... have a little more faith in me, I am really not that useless..." Wu Xie said in a hush and Qiling cupped Wu Xie's face on his hands.

"I never said you are useless... but very loved..." Qiling said just before he kiss Wu Xie in the mouth and Wu Xie then was at the mercy of his lover who was set into demonstrating how precious he was for him with one hot kiss after another right in the middle of the night.

"Xiaoge..." Wu Xie manage to whisper between kisses, but Xiaoge simply lift him from the ground, bridal style and carry him back to the door of their tent. From there they could hear Pangzi snoring quite loud and clear, which only give Xiaoge more wood to his fire and once they enter their tent, Qiling let down Wu Xie over their open sleeping bags.

"Xiaoge..."

"Pangzi is in deep sleep." Qiling quiet Wu Xie and placed himself over the other man body and Wu Xie smiled.

"You remain me of the time in where Ah Ning kidnap me and you came to my rescue... I was left inside a bamboo cage, without water or food in the middle of a forest, guarded by some tugs. By the time you came it was already night and I was very weak and delirious, after passing half of the day inside that small cage, half eaten by mosquitoes and with no water under heat and humidity... when you cut open the door, you take me like that as you jump down and then stare at me like you wanted to eat me... I was quite embarrass, but pleased at the same time. It let me hoping you will actually kiss me for good... but you simply smiled at me... and... well... I melted with it anyways... like I am right now." Wu Xie confessed and Qiling stared at Wu Xie with even more intensity.

"Why didn't you? You could had do so too." Qiling asked, referring as why Wu Xie didn't kiss him instead.

"Xiaoge... I was weak... and well... our relationship was still unstable... I was already lucky that it was a friendly relationship at best, so how could I push it into an uncertain direction when you keep disappear on me right after you rescue me... I wouldn't dare to kiss you..." Wu Xie said as he pass his arms around Xiaoge's neck.

"You can kiss me now..." Xiaoge said and Wu Xie blushed, feeling just like back then, when he was younger and obsessed with that mysterious man that went in and out of his life at will, always making him wanting him a bit more at a time.

"Ah yes... this time... I can have you all to myself, without you running away..." Wu Xie said and pulled Xiaoge to him to kiss him to his heart content.

The past had been hard, but he had manage to catch his man at the end and he was going to make sure to never let go of him. Thus they kissed long and passionate until the heat was irresistible. At that point, Xiaoge was undressing Wu Xie, lifting his shirt then taking it out as he pulled Wu Xie up to get rid of it, so he could have full access to Wu Xie's beautiful skin.

"I should had kiss you then..." Xiaoge whisper as he kissed Wu Xie's neck and then up to his chin, then liked down his neck again and slightly bite his shoulder.

Wu Xie moaned softly at Xiaoge's wet tongue over his sensitive skin and he harden so badly that it even throbbed inside his pants and under Xiaoge's leg that was placed in between his. Sensing the movement, Qiling moved one of his hand down and inside Wu Xie's pants, to grab his source of passion. Wu Xie left out a muffle moan, because Xiaoge kiss him at the very moment the sound was going to leave his mouth.

"We wasted time... I'm sorry..." Qiling said to Wu Xie, who simply panted between kisses and as Qiling rubbed his arousal with gentle strokes up and down the very sensitive spot.

"We are catching up just fine..." Wu Xie hushed and Qiling let go of Wu Xie's arousal for a moment, to fully undress Wu Xie and himself.

The moon was in full, so there was enough light from it to penetrate the thin layer of the camping fabric of the tent they were in. The sound coming from the lake had subsided, but Pangzi's snoring was still faintly audible from the few meters of distances between the tents. Thus they had full green light to go on as they desire.

"Wu Xie..." Qiling whisper as he placed himself over Wu Xie again and started touching him all over, finding Wu Xie's tickling spots, which make Wu Xie giggle, when Qiling used his nails to trace his skin from down onward around his left side.

"Wait, Xiaoge... stop that..." Wu Xie said between soft laughs that make Xiaoge smile in return. He loved when Wu Xie was happy and enjoying something because it make his otherwise cold heart warm up.

"Love you..." Qiling whisper as he slowly moved down to kiss the happy Wu Xie and stop the teasing to get more serious. Anything that that precious man wanted he will give it to him in tons, to make for the wasted time. He did not remember what Wu Xie told him... he did not remember rescuing him from danger, nor staring at him like if he was his prey, nor why he had not go ahead and kiss Wu Xie when his desire had been tangible enough for the younger Wu Xie to notice and obsessed with him even more than before, but he had him on his arms right now, he could kiss Wu Xie all night long, make love to him the way he wanted, give himself to him to his own desire and make all the past hardships worth the wait.

"Your turn..." Qiling whisper as he flipped places with Wu Xie, as he had promise.

The movement was so sudden that Wu Xie found himself over Xioage in a flash and he blushed like mad at the sight. Xiaoge's Qilin tattoo was by now fully visible over his well build chest and his abs were defined, from someone who had exercise a lot over the years and had all the muscle in the right places while still looking slim. He loved Xiaoge's body to a point he may as well be drooling by simply admiring it his hot birth suit and he itched to touch him so badly when Xiaoge was so hard rock bellow him, it was truly inviting... yet, that wasn't how he wanted Xiaoge, not as bottom when he could stay a perfect top.

"Xiaoge... I..."

"Wu Xie, don't hesitate..."

"Hum... it's not that... I... I think I may be more a bottom guy than a top... so... your turn?" Wu Xie asked as he blushed like hell. It wasn't really that he couldn't top Xiaoge, but that he didn't want his man as bottom. He only wanted to give his lover of the things he was deprived for so very long... that he was a bit reluctant to take something from him, even if it was offer willingly.

"Wu Xie..."

"I like it better that way..." Wu Xie insisted, still blushing as he looked down at Xiaoge.

"Are you sure?" Qiling asked in a whisper as he pulled Wu Xie to him and kiss him.

"Yes..." Wu Xie answer and once again, in just a flash, Wu Xie was flipped down again, but this time, Xiaoge went a bit further to please his man and used his mouth on Wu Xie's arousal to make him go crazy in pleasure.

It was a good thing it was past midnight and Pangzi was sleeping as soundly as a log, otherwise he would had been disturbed to madness by the noise on the tent just a short distance away from his, as two lovers make love under the effect of the full moon.

Xiao Hua

"Master Hua, where are you right now?" Xiazi asked on the speaker of his phone as he drove out of Banai.

"I am staying on Mop's restaurant-house with Xiu Xiu, why?" Xiao Hua asked curiously.

"There had been a slight change of plans, I will pick you up as soon as I can, just give me the address and I will be there in no time." Xiazi said.

"What happen? Are you in troubles?" Xiao Hua asked in alarm as he stood from his chair. They had Fo Ye's grandson there, as he struggles to find more clues about the Mystic Nine past, Xie Lian Huan, Wu San Xing and the possible information Fo Ye may had left behind on his secret chamber in Changcha.

"Come on Master Hua, have more faith in my abilities, I am quite good on my jobs... but sometimes I need to do a little sabotage for the sake of the mission." Xiazi told him as he make a turn in the empty road.

"For who are you sabotaging?" Xiao Hua asked, now relieved his boyfriend was not in immediate troubles.

"A bit of both... I am sabotaging Cox Hendry about his search in Banai, to give the Iron Triangle a bit more time to get what they came to look for... and about Wu Er Bai... well, he honestly don't want you digging into Xie Lian Huan of perhaps on Wu San Xing's whereabouts too much... oh, that cunning old fox is well informed and he knows you are searching in the same mystery Wu Xie is."

"So he send you to distract me or send me into a futile crusade away from the real target?" Xiao Hua asked and Xiazi laughed.

"My lovely Yu Hua, you got it right, it's a bit of both... but since you are my beloved lover and all, I can use the excuse to help you a bit more personally..."

"Alright... I will arrange one of the rooms here for us to meet. Just give me a few minutes and I will give you the address."

"Ah... so you want us to meet in private? I like it when you go directly to the point. Damn it I miss you like hell, so it's fine with me... I have been dying for one of those hot kisses of yours..."

"Idiot, don't go saying such things, I am not alone." Xiao Hua said as he went even farther away from the three others present in the room and Xiazi laughed more.

"Oh don't be shy now, we are such a lovely couple, even Yaba Zhang will envy us..."

"Tsh... what envy, you are out more than what you are in, just like Zhang Qiling before Tamutuo."

"Ah, don't break my loving heart saying such heartless things, I only rush my jobs for one flower alone and that is you..."

"Yeah, yeah... I will text you the address... and take it easy, there is no need to rush at such a late hour."

"The faster we can see each other again, the happier I will be... and since my princess didn't come to me, I will come to my..."

"Who is a princess?!" Xiazi laughed.

"Ah, my bad, sorry, sorry... my handsome prince, of course, even if he loves pink..."

"What's wrong with that color?"

"Nothing, I love how it makes you look more refine... damn, it make you look hotter..."

"Idiot! See you soon..." Xiao Hua hang up as Xiazi laughed again from the other side. Soon, after talking with Mop about an extra room, he sent Xiazi the address and waited impatiently to finally meet with him after a long week.
