Wu Xie
The next morning Wu Xie wake up without a fever, but with a bit of congestion, making quite evident that he had catch a cold, despite all the care Xiaoge had taken with him during the night. To make things worse the weather had changed and now dark clouds cover the morning sky, threatening with a coming rain.
Around ten in the morning, Yun Cai and her father finally showed up with more supplies for them and giving the unforeseen circumstances, Pangzi pretty much forced Wu Xie to agree to go back with them and recover for a few days before he could come back to the mountains again.
"Tianzhen... you will have to go back with Yun Cai and uncle Gui whatever you like it or not, right Xiaoge?" Pangzi asked and to Wu Xie's surprise, the stoic handsome man silently assented.
"Xiaoge! It's just a cold, I can still help you find..."
"Wu Xie... your health comes first, go back..." Xiaoge said softly, yet his gaze was deep, meaning he was very serious on that matter, so despite his unwillingness to go, he had no other choice but to give in. Thus he packed up and went outside his tent, in where Xiaoge was waiting for him to send him off. Yun Cai and the old man were already waiting for him at the border of the forest, along with Pangzi, who was glad to see her after a few days of her absence.
"Xiaoge... take care... I will be back in a few more days, hopefully with the diving equipment Xiao Hua send me as well. I will be in contact by phone to check on how things are going here. Uncle Gui said it can become dangerous when it rains, so be careful and if it rains, take a look at the lake's level. If you find anything, please call me and let me know. Also, be aware that Cox Hendry's men may lurk around at some point, so stay on your guard." Wu Xie said as he was ready to go down the mountain.
"I will be fine." Xiaoge said and Wu Xie sighed.
"Yeah... I know you are strong... but don't dive too deep, wait for the proper equipment for that and none if it rains..."
"I know." Xiaoge whisper.
"Call me if anything..."
"Wu Xie, we will be fine." Xiaoge insisted and Wu Xie sighed yet again.
"Most I really go?"
"Yes."
"Alright... I will go back in two or three days..." Wu Xie murmur with nostalgic, almost giving Xioage that puppy look that was so irresistible.
"Right..." Xiaoge said as he grabbed Wu Xie's backpack and give his man a soft kiss on the crown of his head.
"I will go with you half way." Xiaoge added and walked ahead, while Wu Xie smiled widely as he follows his man quite delighted. Halfway was good enough for him and thus, soon, the entire Iron Triangle went down the mountain, pretty much the same way they go up.
Yun Cai and Pangzi chatted in the middle of their line, while Wu Xie and Xiaoge stayed behind into their own world, until halfway, Pangzi and Xiaoge turned back to their lake camp and Wu Xie headed down the rest of the road along with the other two.
Once in Uncle Gui house, Wu Xie called Pangzi, to make sure they have go back without problems and chat with him for a while, then he took his medicines and make another call.
"Wu Xie... I was about to call you. I got everything you need to dive into the lake and best of all, you will not have to wait long for it to arrive, I will bring it to you personally." Xiao Hua said on the phone.
"That's good to hear..." And he sneezed.
"Are you sick?"
"Just a cold, nothing to worry. Right now I am in town, so when can we met?" Wu Xie asked.
"I need to take care of something first, so I will be in Banai by the day after tomorrow, around midday."
"Alright, I will wait for you here, is not like I can go back for a few days."
"Wu Xie, did you guys have a fight?"
"Of course not, but they said it's going to rain in the mountains and that my cold will get worse if I stay, so they banish me." At that Xiao Hua laughed.
"Oh, I'm glad to know that both Zhang Qiling and Pangzi are sensible men. You would had catch a pneumonia if you have stayed there, giving your luck. Be careful out there, you are without your lucky charm right now." Xiao Hua teased and Wu Xie faked a laugh.
"I survived most of my life without them, so I can survive a few days on my own, thank you."
"Then take care, I will call you when I reach the town and Wu Xie... please stay away from troubles..."
"Damn it! It's not like I cause problems every time..."
"Who are you kidding with? Troubles will find you even if you don't look for them. I warn you, you are been watch, be careful and don't do things you shouldn't on your own. See you soon." Xiao Hua said before he hang up on his cousin.
"Master Hua..."
"Don't say anything, both of us knows that he will get into dangerous stuffs sooner than later." Xiao Hua said and Xaizi came closer to hug him.
"He is sick, right? What can he possible do when down?" Xiazi asked, as he pulled his Master closer.
"Xiazi, you will be surprise..." Xiao Hua said.
"Ah, don't be like that... he had his luck too..."
"Want to bet?" Xiao Hua suggested.
"Mn, well. It had been a while since our last bet. What do we bet this time. Money is boring at this point in our relationship."
"You want to top me, right?" Xiao Hua asked boldly and Xiazi arched an eyebrow.
"I sure do... then..."
"If Wu Xie is not in troubles when we reach Banai, you top me." Xiao Hua suggested, which make Xiao Hua smile quite mischievously.
"We got a deal, Master Hua... don't blame me for it later."
"Sure..."
"Okay, now let's head up to Banai..."
"Oh, no... you are not interfering with this... we give Wu Er Bai the distraction he asked for, then we rescue Wu Xie..."
"So heartless, even with your cousin..."
"Not as confident anymore?"
"Well... he reached until adulthood on his own, right? What can possible happen to a sick man that should stay indoors just for a couple of days?"
"Then, let's find out... but just in case... you can start making good luck talismans for both Wu Xie and yourself..." Xiao Hua teased with a smirk that melted Xaizi in the act.
"So heartless..." Xiazi whined, but Xiao Hua simply pull Xiazi's head down to kiss him.
"Not as much as you believe... he is family after all..." Xiao Hua said between kisses.
"Then..."
"We will keep an eye on him..."
"When?"
"Soon..."
"Ah, I knew you care more than that..."
"But we don't interfere, unless is necessary..."
"Maybe it will not be necessary... and I win with flying colors."
"Yeah, wish on it hard enough and it may come true..."
"Wu Xie can't be that unlucky..."
"He is not really unlucky, but rather incomplete without his other half close..."
"Ah... the fate of the soul mates... you cheat me..." Xaizi whisper against his lover lips.
"No..."
"Yes..."
"Ah, forget it... come on... let's not talk about it now..."
"Agree... I want more..."
"As you wish..." Xiao Hua murmur as he pulled his hot lover inside the small country house they had rented for a few days.
Next morning, Wu Xie felt better and called on Pangzi to check on them, as promise and to his surprise, it was Xiaoge who answer.
"Wu Xie, how are you?"
"I'm fine now, just a bit of a running nose, but not as many sneezes."
"Rest."
"Xiaoge, seriously I can't be all day in bed... and I am back to stinking with more Luosifen." At that Xiaoge smirked from the other side.
"Bear it."
"Easy for you to say, you are far away from the stench... by the way, where is Pangzi?"
"Fishing."
"Then good luck, he is not too good at it..."
"I can, if he can't."
"Of course, you are so awesome... Ah, I mean, talented..." Wu Xie corrected with a soft blush.
"Wu Xie..."
"Yeah?"
"Are you blushing?" Xiaoge asked and Wu Xie's ear tinted redder.
"Hey, what kind of question is that? Did it rain last night?" Wu Xie changed the theme.
"A bit."
"Is it still cloudy in the mountains?"
"Mn."
"Be careful."
"I will."
"Keep me updated, okay?"
"Sure."
"I... love you..."
"Me too..."
"See you soon then."
"Take care. Don't fall."
"Ah, not you too Xiaoge... really, why no one gives me a chance to prove that I can handle myself?" Xiaoge smirked delighted from the other side.
"Come back unharmed." Xiaoge teased.
"Of course I will, just you wait another day..."
"Alright... Wu Xie..."
"Yeah?"
"Pangzi is calling..."
"Okay... see you soon... take care..."

"By." Xiaoge said as he hang up, then headed out of the tent, at the same time he hear the sound of rushing water from where he had hear Pangzi call him before... but when he saw the lake, he was horrify to find the whirlpool Wu Xie had warned them before, circling right below where Pangzi's raft was.
"Pangzi!!!!!" Xiaoge yelled, but even as he ran toward the lake at full speed, he could only watch as his brother was sucked inside the spiral or water and he was on his way down too.
