Feng Yanshen pulled back slowly from the kiss. Both of them were breathing hard, chests rising and falling quickly.
He tried to calm the hunger crawling inside him. He took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay in control. This was not the right time. He had something more important to do first.
He rested his forehead gently against Yue Yue's. His hot breath brushed across her face. Yue Yue also took a deep breath and looked up at him.
But Feng Yanshen kept his eyes closed. He did not let her see the strong emotions swirling inside them.
He suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. He said nothing, just rested against her, seeking comfort in her warmth.
After a moment, the hunger inside him grew even stronger. The urge to claim her completely became almost unbearable. He clenched his fist tightly on the bed sheet until the fabric tore under his fingers.
