What defines a "Wheelchair" build?
Is it defied-heaven stats and explosive damage that one-shots anyone who dares approach, sending them home in utter defeat?
Or is it the philosophy that Weight is King, remaining immovable as a mountain while facing earth-shattering cataclysms from gods and dragons, laughing as one asks, "My strength is meager; have you eaten?"
Or perhaps it is giving up interaction entirely to ignore all things, possessing a mind pure of evil thoughts, simply staying silent and spamming a single move?
If Isagi had to say, it should be all of them!
He wants the unstoppable spear, the indestructible shield, and simple controls that even his grandmother could play!!
Only then can it be truly called a "Wheelchair."
However, obtaining such heaven-defying power is no easy feat.
It requires a pair of eyes keen on discovering "BUGs" (exploits), a brilliant mind for calculating stat stacking, sharp intuition to see through the "Meta" of the current version, and the ability to instantly retrieve all relevant equipment, items, and skills from a vast memory bank...
Then comes the constant combining, choosing, trial and error, and field testing—
The "Wheelchair" is merely the result, but who can understand the effort and sweat required in the process?!
And at this very moment.
What Isagi had obtained was a small puzzle piece for one of his future "Wheelchairs."
[Combat Art: Glimmer Echo
· Takes effect immediately upon use. Replicates all Combat Arts used within the next second.
(A technique mastered by the Glimmer Knights of the Goblin race; only those with exceptional talent can learn it.
It creates an imperceptible phantom that repeats the user's movements.
Legend.
This is a power brought by the Saintesses of a foreign race, existing solely for protection.
The Dungeon has no light; chasing a distant and unreachable glimmer, the knights occasionally catch a glimpse of an untouchable dream.)]
Looking at the exquisitely crafted, slender, and ornate short wand in his hand.
Isagi utilized his magic, [Total Mastery], and quickly read the information regarding the Combat Art possessed by this weapon.
Subsequently.
Tentatively, he drew the katana "Flashlight" from his waist. Holding the short wand in his left hand and the long blade in his right, he first used the Combat Art called [Glimmer Echo], and then immediately followed up with the katana's Combat Art, [Full Moon Slash].
Shwa!
The long blade slashed upward, carving out a cold, lunar wheel with its chilling light.
Immediately following that.
A long blade formed of faint, gathering glimmer appeared out of thin air, repeating his exact movement. Just as he was sheathing his blade, it slashed out once more.
[Twin Moons]!
The glow of the cold moon flashed and vanished once again, like brilliant fireworks blooming in succession across the night sky.
Nearby, Lefiya and Anya saw it more clearly.
In that instant just now.
A phantom composed of countless tiny specks of fluorescence seemed to appear beside Isagi, repeating the boy's movement and delivering the slash just performed.
Not bad.
He was quite satisfied with this.
Isagi then took out the object he had just fished out of the Mimic that had been chewing on Anya for quite a while.
It was an irregular, already shattered stone, displaying a certain pale hue. It was covered in dense, twisted text, but not in the language of this world.
It didn't look like ore used for forging weapons or equipment.
Isagi thought for a moment and used his other magic, [Fragmented Narrative].
This magic was of no help in combat; it could simply read the descriptions of items in hand. Often, it was meaningless, like with a Potato Snack being—
[A food made by deep-frying potatoes. Quite delicious. Replenishes stamina.]
Or the front door at home being—
[An ordinary wooden door. Can be opened from both sides. It has begun to mold due to age.]
It was usually like that, useless ninety-nine percent of the time.
But this time—
[Saintess's Sigil · Part 3: The Kingdom's pallor is not light, but an existence equal to darkness. Thus, the Saintesses of the foreign race are always chasing dazzling things, leading the Goblins to believe this is a curse.]
Ohoho, so it really is a quest item?
There's even lore to read?
Combining this with the description of the Combat Art earlier, Isagi suddenly felt a sense of awe.
The Dungeon is too professional. They really put on the full show. It's not as simple as just spawning special monsters and "BOSSes"; they've actually created an entire set of lore?
...
They rested in place for a while.
Drank water, ate food, and downed two more stamina recovery potions.
Anya looked distressingly at her clothes, which now had several holes bitten into them by the Mimic. She thought about how she was definitely going to be scolded by Syr when she got back, since Syr had sewn these clothes for her, meow. Sob sob sob.
However, the stupid cat's sorrow did not affect the subsequent exploration.
Isagi led the two girls as they continued to wander the 2nd Floor. They soon discovered that the special monsters appearing here were basically all Goblin Knights riding Kobolds.
Of course, some were without Kobolds, purely on foot, but they were still much stronger than the soldiers in the Goblin camps on the 3rd Floor.
However, the number of these guys was indeed very low. At most, three or four would appear at once, and there were even quite a few stragglers.
Compared to the monsters.
The greater issue was actually the giant boulders constantly rolling from the front of the caverns.
Isagi quickly realized that these boulders were actually herding the three of them, just like when they first arrived on this floor and were chased by boulders all the way to the fog gate leading to the 3rd Floor.
He instantly saw through everything!
It is common knowledge that the more the enemy wants you to go somewhere, the more you shouldn't go!! And the more they don't want you to go somewhere, the more likely there is treasure buried there!!
Therefore!
By observing the path and timing of the rolling boulders.
Isagi soon discovered that this was actually a "Puzzle"!!
By constantly weaving through the crisscrossing caverns, using them for cover, and utilizing the time difference between the rolling boulders, one could reach the depths of the cavern that were originally impassable.
It wasn't a particularly complex puzzle; one could easily pass it after a few attempts.
However, Isagi refused!
Because he hated solving puzzles!!
Soulslikes should be about fighting properly; brain-burning puzzles can get the hell out!!
So, deciding to fully utilize the power available to him at this moment, Isagi faced the boulder rolling from the distance. Without dodging or evading, he simply spoke to the cat-girl beside him.
"Anya, you can smash that rock, right?"
"I can, meow."
It was no lie!
With the divine strength of a Level 4 adventurer, especially since Anya was a lancer who excelled in strength and agility, destroying a boulder or whatever was simply effortless, meow.
It was only now that she remembered she didn't need to be afraid of this big rock at all, meow!
The cat-girl immediately puffed out her chest—which was by no means small—and proudly gripped the beautiful, slender golden spear in her hands, assuming a charging stance.
Then.
In the next instant.
The boulder rolling from afar shattered into debris with a thunderous boom. The violent explosion was so loud that Lefiya instinctively crouched down and covered her ears tightly.
That was too terrifying; is this something Anya can actually do?!
"Done, meow!"
"Good, then let's keep moving."
"Yes, meow!!!"
And so, with Anya clearing the path, the three soon arrived in an area they had not stepped foot in before.
The cavern seemed inexplicably elongated, making it feel like they walked for a very, very long time without encountering any monsters, until they finally saw the end in the distance.
It was a small chamber.
Large clusters of fluorescent light floated in mid-air, radiating a pale blue glow like dazzling little constellations.
On the ground, a patch of colorful, chaotic wildflowers bloomed.
Among the small flowers, tiny lights floated gently above, instilling a sense of peace and affection like fireflies.
"So beautiful."
The Elf girl, who loved nature, immediately uttered such an exclamation.
At the same time.
Both Isagi and Anya noticed that lying among the clusters of blooming flowers was a...
Kobold?
Only after getting slightly closer did Isagi notice that this was a female Kobold—because the figure beneath the robes was too obvious.
It was completely different from the filthy Kobolds they had seen before, who were treated almost as "hounds" and "mounts" by the Goblins.
The female Kobold before them was dressed exceptionally nobly, even wearing exquisite jewelry made of strung-together shining stones. She lay quietly among the flowers, but had already lost her life.
The gaping wound on her chest, and the dark red, stained blood seeping from it, explained everything.
And around the neck of this female Kobold, Isagi discovered a shattered stone piece carved with the same unknown characters.
Carefully approaching, he picked it up.
[Saintess's Sigil · Part 1: The Goblin race cannot produce females. However, the "Blue Moon" they worship is a Mother Goddess. Therefore, Goblins view all females of foreign races as symbols of holiness and nobility, and the Kingdom's strongest knights pledge to protect them to the death.]
The moment he picked up this small stone.
Suddenly.
Isagi felt the "tremor" of the Dungeon.
Something is coming!!
The fluorescent lights around them suddenly gathered together, then danced away, surging toward the direction of the tunnel.
In the distance, within the cavern tunnel the three had come from, unbeknownst to them when it had appeared, a Goblin Knight wearing pale armor with a dark blue moon crest painted on its chest was dragging a greatsword far larger than its own body. Like a walking corpse, it was slowly walking toward them.
Large clusters of fluorescent light surrounded it, illuminating the knight's hands, which were covered in filth and blood, and the weapon behind it, equally spotted with blood and rust.
And it was at this moment.
The opponent's name inexplicably surfaced in Isagi's mind—
