Cherreads

Chapter 9 - Shared hatred (Bl spicy)

In the heart of a bustling small town, where holiday lights twinkled like annoying fireflies, stood Ink Haven... a dimly lit tattoo parlor run by Kai Rivera. He was twenty-eight, with sleeves of intricate tattoos snaking up his arms, dark hair falling over piercing green eyes, and a perpetual scowl that scared off most cheer. Kai hated Christmas... the forced joy, the carols blasting everywhere, the memories of his family's abandonment during the holidays years ago. To him, it was all fake ink on bad skin.

Across the street was Jingle All the Way, a Christmas shop overflowing with ornaments, wreaths, and enough red and green to make Kai gag. Owner was Luca Hayes, thirty, with soft blond curls, warm brown eyes, and a build honed from lifting boxes of festive crap. Luca despised the season too... his ex had dumped him on Christmas Eve last year, right in the middle of a family dinner. Now, running the shop his late grandma left him felt like a cruel joke. He sold joy he didn't feel.

Their paths crossed one snowy afternoon when Luca stormed into Ink Haven, slamming the door. "Your damn sign is blocking my window display! People can't see my Santas because of that neon needle crap!"

Kai looked up from sketching a dragon, smirking. "Good. Maybe it'll save them from buying more holiday bullshit."

Luca paused, eyes narrowing. "You hate Christmas too?"

"With every fiber," Kai replied, leaning back. "It's a scam. Overpriced gifts, fake smiles... I'd rather tattoo coal on someone's ass."

Luca laughed... a real, deep sound that surprised them both. "Finally, someone gets it. My shop's a prison of tinsel."

They bonded over coffee that turned into beers at the bar down the block. Kai shared his backstory... parents bailing when he was a teen, leaving him to fend alone during the "most wonderful time." Luca opened up about his ex, the betrayal that soured every jingle bell. "We hate the same enemy," Luca said, clinking glasses.

Nights blurred into shared rants. Kai helped Luca rearrange his shop to "minimize the cheer"... dimming lights, hiding the gaudiest items. Luca popped into the parlor with takeout, watching Kai work his needle magic. Attraction simmered... Kai's intense gaze lingering on Luca's lips, Luca's hands brushing Kai's tattooed arms a bit too long.

One evening, after closing, snow falling thick outside, they were in the back of Luca's shop. Boxes of ornaments surrounded them like forgotten dreams. "This place isn't so bad without the lights on," Kai murmured, stepping closer.

Luca's breath hitched. "Yeah? What about with us in it?"

Their first kiss was electric... Kai's hands gripping Luca's shirt, pulling him in rough. Lips crashed, tongues exploring hungrily. Luca tasted like peppermint from the candy canes he sold, Kai like the smoke from his after-work cig. They stumbled against a shelf, ornaments rattling.

Kai's fingers tugged at Luca's belt. "I've wanted this since you yelled at me," he growled.

Luca moaned softly. "Show me."

Clothes shed fast... Luca's shirt first, revealing a toned chest dusted with light hair. Kai's followed, his inked skin a canvas Luca traced with eager fingers. They sank to the floor on a pile of soft holiday blankets, bodies pressing close.

Kai kissed down Luca's neck, nipping at the skin, leaving marks like temporary tattoos. His hand slipped into Luca's boxers, stroking his hardening cock slowly, teasing the tip with his thumb. Luca arched, gasping. "Kai... fuck..."

"Patience," Kai whispered, but his own arousal strained against his jeans. He freed himself, their lengths rubbing together as they ground hips. Sweat built, breaths heavy. Kai's mouth traveled lower, taking Luca in... tongue swirling, sucking deep. Luca's hands tangled in Kai's hair, hips bucking as pleasure built.

"Don't stop..." Luca begged, voice ragged.

Kai pulled back just enough to flip Luca onto his stomach, spreading his legs. He grabbed lube from his wallet... always prepared... and worked fingers in slowly, stretching, curling to hit that spot that made Luca cry out. "You feel so good," Kai murmured, adding a second finger, scissoring.

Luca pushed back. "Now... please."

Kai entered him inch by inch, groaning at the tight heat. They moved together... slow at first, then faster, Kai's thrusts deep and powerful. Skin slapped, moans echoed in the empty shop. Luca reached back, gripping Kai's thigh, urging him on. "Harder..."

Kai obliged, one hand on Luca's hip, the other stroking him in rhythm. They climaxed together... Luca spilling over Kai's hand, Kai deep inside with a guttural moan. They collapsed, tangled and spent, laughter bubbling up.

"That was... better than any holiday," Luca panted.

Kai kissed his shoulder. "Yeah. Fuck Christmas."

But the season wore on, and their hatred softened. Kai found himself humming carols while tattooing. Luca decorated his shop with a subtle edge... black ornaments mixed in. They spent nights exploring each other... another love scene at Kai's apartment, where Luca topped this time.

Candles flickered, casting shadows on Kai's tattoos. Luca pinned him to the bed, kissing every inch of inked skin. "You're art," he whispered, trailing lower. His mouth enveloped Kai, sucking with expert rhythm, fingers teasing below. Kai writhed, hands fisting sheets.

"Luca... yes..." He pulled Luca up, lubing him. Luca entered slow, building to pounding thrusts. Kai's legs wrapped around, nails digging into Luca's back. They rocked hard, sweat-slicked, whispers of dirty praise filling the air. "So tight... take it all..."

Release hit like fireworks... Kai coming untouched, Luca following with a deep groan.

Love inked its way in quietly. One night, under the town tree they both mocked, Kai pulled Luca close. "I don't hate this anymore... because of you."

Luca smiled. "Me neither. You're my holiday miracle."

They kissed as snow fell, the shop and parlor across the street glowing softly. Hatred turned to heat... spicy, deep, forever bound.

New Year's came with a tattoo... Luca getting a small heart on his wrist, inked by Kai. "Our anti-Christmas pact," Kai said.

Luca grinned. "Sealed with love."

Their story spread in town... the grumps who found joy. But in private, the spice never faded... stolen moments in the parlor chair, Luca bent over the counter, Kai thrusting slow and teasing. Or in the shop's backroom, Kai on his knees, pleasuring Luca until he trembled.

Love scenes became routine... passionate, very spicy explorations. One afternoon, during a slow day, they locked the parlor door. Kai sat in his chair, Luca straddling him. Clothes half-off, they ground together, hands everywhere. Luca rode him hard, moans muffled in kisses. "Come for me," Luca commanded, and Kai did, pulling Luca over the edge.

Holidays lost their sting. Kai even helped stock Luca's shelves, Luca sat for more tattoos. Their shared hatred bonded them, but love... that was the real ink, permanent and hot.
