At that moment, the lightning collapsed, and the Sky-God's spear shattered as it fell. Above the Sea of Imaginary Numbers, Zeus, the King of Gods, lowered his gaze.
He saw sparks bloom like stars—vast as the Milky Way.
He saw humanity ignite, radiant and blinding.
Rovi raised his fist to the sky, drawing forth mankind's fire—and launched upward to pierce the heavens!
"So it's you... the Sage of Uruk!"
"Fuck you. I'll rip you apart!"
Having recognized the culprit behind Greece's upheaval, Zeus was consumed by fury at the sight of his enemy. He shifted at once into his war aspect, standing at the edge of the Sea of Imaginary Numbers, turning the Authority of Lightning into countless spears that blazed downward.
The sky tore apart as streams of brilliant light intertwined.
In an instant, Rovi seized the countless sparks into his palm. Tremendous computational power surged forth, allowing him to instantly unravel the lightning's vulnerabilities.
He raised his hand—and punched.
The crimson primal rotational force surged forth, propelled by the titanic strength of the divine machine, obliterating the incoming lightning and unleashing a scarlet tempest toward Zeus.
Yet, just before it struck, the tempest vanished soundlessly into the void.
Just as Prometheus had told him—Zeus now existed in a dimension far beyond reach, a realm accessible only to gods of primordial caliber.
Right now, Rovi couldn't reach him.
Only by fully harnessing the power of Kronos and unifying the strength of the Greek Gods could he possibly achieve that.
"You who scorn the gods! You who dare disrespect the King of Gods! You shall suffer the judgment of lightning!"
Zeus's thunderous voice echoed down from the highest heavens. Each lightning strike intensified as Zeus steadily increased his output—determined not merely to kill Rovi, but through his death, to terrorize the world into submission.
Toying with him like an ant—Downward, ever downward!
Rovi clashed repeatedly with lightning bolts, gradually forced to descend.
A crimson storm enveloped the divine machine's form. Iron wings unfurled, gathering endless sparks. In that moment, Rovi embodied humanity's collective wisdom, using it as the Head Unit to link with the gods on earth.
But that required time.
It wasn't that Rovi wanted to confront Zeus before finishing the connection; the moment he began, he would inevitably be noticed.
Zeus...
Was far too powerful!
The all-powerful god who unified the Twelve Olympians—though not yet at his absolute limit—still stood equal to the primordial goddess Tiamat herself.
The heaven he ruled was the highest heaven.
The world he governed was the supreme world.
Highest, holiest, strongest!
Across all Greek mythology, from ancient times to the present, only Chaos could suppress him.
All others, human or god, were but dust before Zeus's gaze—and he saw every speck with perfect clarity.
Rovi was no exception.
Yet, he still had to stake everything on this.
Even the wisest strategist must eventually risk it all on a single step forward!
"Rovi…" In Rovi City, En gazed upward anxiously, but she knew it wasn't her moment yet. She refused to be the one who spoiled Rovi's plans.
She was merely a weapon.
A broken weapon—Rovi's broken weapon.
But why then did she feel unwilling?
Why did it hurt so much?
Athena, crowned with the diadem of gods, closed her eyes to forge her connection with Rovi. Artemis ascended higher, casting moonlight onto the divine machine locked in combat with lightning. Hera willingly released her authority, Apollo stared gravely at his father's apocalyptic power, and even Hestia, though astonished, could no longer stand apart…
The gods' reactions varied, but now, without exception, they all chose to aid Rovi.
Because none of them wished to die—none wanted execution as traitors by Zeus's hand.
Within him, the engine roared, fueling Rovi's ascent. The divine machine soared once more.
BOOM!
The star-force collided again with lightning.
Had it not been for Ia's divine authority, Rovi would have already shattered completely.
Not enough—not enough—still not enough—
Rovi forced the lightning apart once more—when suddenly, a voice rang out clearly.
"Let me handle this!"
On another peak in the Caucasus, across from the mountain imprisoning Prometheus, stood a towering figure.
His voice wasn't loud, but it still reached everyone's ears.
All eyes—human and divine—were drawn instantly toward him. Even Zeus paused the lightning strikes, focusing his gaze upon the figure.
A powerfully built man, muscles rippling, veins bulging beneath his skin. Black hair swept back; his presence strong, mighty, unwavering—
He was Heracles.
Greece's greatest hero, the symbol of heroism itself.
"Rovi—I'm here!" He smiled toward the towering machine that was Rovi, warmth radiating from his fierce, determined gaze.
"I knew you'd come back!" Rovi laughed heartily.
He had known Heracles would appear. Even without any prior arrangement, even after so long apart—
He'd always known this great hero would never miss humanity's final showdown with the gods.
"My father—Zeus!" Heracles raised his eyes to the heavens.
"Heracles, my child…"
"You motherfucker—you're betraying me too?!"
The gods: "…"
Zeus trembled in rage, but Heracles's emotion burned even hotter.
"I've never fucking betrayed anyone—not a single person or god!" Heracles roared back. "Zeus, you abandoned me since the moment I was born, yet I still followed your will and became a hero!"
"The Argonaut's journey, the Twelve Labors, the depths of the sea, even the Underworld—I faced them all!"
"But through it all, the only will I obeyed was my own!"
"I'm fucking Heracles!"
"I'm not your child!"
"I—am a HERO!"
Heracles had always wanted to become a hero.
It had been his dream since childhood, the ideal he'd pursued his entire life.
To be a hero for humanity.
A hero for everyone.
But if the gods stood for justice, he'd gladly become a hero for them too.
After parting ways with Rovi back then, Heracles's adventures had grown ever more glorious, his achievements unmatched by any other Greek hero.
But that wasn't because he was chosen by the Gods—
It was simply because he was Heracles. Because he yearned to become a true hero.
"Insolent son!"
"Die, you fucking dog!" Zeus's rage erupted again, unleashing divine punishment once more.
This time it wasn't lightning—it was the entire sky, the absolute authority of the King of Gods himself, crushing downward.
Instantly, Heracles's bones cracked, blood bursting through every pore.
He was merely mortal.
Just a demigod born from the blood of Zeus's human vessel.
But mortals could still perform miracles.
His shattered feet dug in again, his bowed body straightened once more. Even through infinite agony, infinite torment—
"I must stand before humanity!"
"This—is the great deed of Heracles!"
"You…"
Zeus trembled.
Because in that moment, Heracles lifted the heavens themselves!
Countless lights and shadows surrounded him—Jason, Peleus, Achilles, Hector…
Countless heroes.
Before arriving, he had met them all, carrying their will with him.
He represented not himself alone—but an entire era, the blazing light of heroism that Rovi had ignited!
The radiance of heroes belonged to humanity once again!
Long ago, Rovi had inspired Heracles.
Now, Heracles would be Rovi's bulwark.
"GRAAAAAH!"
With a fierce roar, the hero stood equal to the gods!
First, humanity's fire surged forth like a river.
Now, the brilliance of heroes illuminated everything.
Across Greece, in that moment—the gods trembled in awe.
Even Zeus fell silent.
Yet Rovi simply clenched his fist again.
Because in the time Heracles had bought him...
The link was complete!
