A Blugori — a towering blue gorilla with a massive double-bladed axe — roared and charged straight at Ian.
Ian's expression didn't waver in the slightest.
He lifted his right hand.
White clay surged out in a continuous torrent, piling beside him like a snowbank—
And then that mound twitched.
A colossal white gorilla — nearly tall enough to crack Impel Down's ceiling — burst forth from the clay.
The Blugori swung its giant axe with brutal force.
But because of the height difference, it could barely reach the clay gorilla's knee.
A "Sea Martial Artist" wasn't weak — not by a long shot.
Even a Sea King in the Calm Belt could be chopped in half by their axe.
And sure enough, the Blugori's blade cleaved the clay creature's knee cleanly.
But clay lifeforms felt no pain.
Even with its knee severed, the upper body of the massive clay gorilla remained intact — and active.
Ian directed it forward.
The clay gorilla raised its gigantic fist and brought it crashing down—
BOOM!!
The Blugori that had charged first had no time to dodge.
The clay fist smashed squarely onto its skull, flattening it instantly.
The beast toppled backward, unconscious before it hit the ground.
A gleaming chest appeared in Ian's vision.

A single Blugori… means a silver chest?
Ian looked past the fallen one — a whole squad of Blugori were thundering toward him.
To Ian, they were no longer gorillas.
They were walking, roaring silver treasure chests.
He even felt as though a mysterious narrator whispered in his ear:

Starting with the Blue Water Monkeys — Dominate Impel Down!
"Stop! Stop!! All of you, stop fighting!"
Hannibal leapt in between Ian and Sadi-chan, desperately spreading his arms to block them.
But Sadi didn't even glance at him.
Her eyes were fixed anxiously on the approaching Blugori unit.
She'd only wanted to test the new guy —
not trigger a prison riot and drown Impel Down in blood.
But before she or Hannibal could restrain them—
The entire Blugori squad suddenly hesitated.
These creatures weren't exactly smart.
Sure, they were part of the primate family…
but they were nothing like those "Human-Imitating Monkeys" of Kuraigana Island.
Their intelligence was low.
They acted based on external commands — simple, instinctive, obedient.
And for creatures like that?
Size was one of the biggest indicators of threat.
They saw:
—One of their own knocked unconscious, lying limp on the ground.
—A towering white gorilla nearly scraping the ceiling.
The Blugori froze in place, forming a cluster, barking warning cries—
But not one dared to step forward.
Seeing this, Ian sighed in disappointment.
If they had all charged,
he would've harvested dozens of Silver Treasure Chests in a single sweep.
But there would be other opportunities.
Ian wasn't in a rush.
Once Sadi finally calmed the Blugori down, the potential riot fizzled out.
Hannibal exhaled dramatically.
"C-close call!
My Impel Down was almost thrown into chaos!"
He lifted his arms and thumped his chest.
"Sadi! That was far too reckless!"
PAH!
Sadi cracked her whip in the air without a word.
Hannibal immediately turned the blame around.
"A-Adrian! You too!
Guards and wardens should coexist in harmony!
Why are you fighting like animals?!"
Ian glanced sideways.
Sadi was currently whipping the unconscious Blugori — vigorously.
It didn't look like "harmony."
Unless all Blugori were secretly masochists.
Hannibal realized the awkwardness and leaned toward Ian, lowering his voice.
"Sadi only arrived last year. She's seventeen — young, proud, temperamental.
If you don't mind, I could introduce my subordinate, Domino.
She's much gentler than Sadi."
PAH!
Another whip cracked.
"I HEARD that, Hannibal!"
Sadi strutted over, heels clicking sharply on the floor.
"You wanna taste my Crimson Demon Whip? Hm?!"
Hannibal's eyes twitched, and he immediately hid behind Ian.
"Address me properly — as Chief Guard Hannibal!
Sadi! I am your superior!"
"Tch."
She dismissed him with a scoff.
Her attention shifted entirely to Ian.
She tilted her head, supported her chin with a gloved hand, and licked her lips with wicked delight.
"Impel Down finally gets a handsome newcomer…
What a shame I won't get to hear your screams."
"Thank you for the compliment."
Ian looked her up and down.
He couldn't deny it — her whole aesthetic was extremely eye-catching.
"But it seems you really enjoy… that kind of 'play'?"
"I wouldn't say enjoy~"
"So you mean… you really enjoy it?"
"Correct! I love it!"
Sadi beamed, radiating untamed intensity.
"Ian Adrian… want to come play with me?"
"Hey! Sadi!"
Before Ian could answer, Hannibal shouted from behind him.
"He's a newcomer!
You can't corrupt him on his first day!"
"Hannibal."
Sadi shot him a death glare.
"You have zero sense of fun."
And without looking back, she twirled her whip and walked off.
