Nathan met Doctor Park through his father. Back when they still lived together, Park often visited their home, and naturally, being a smart kid, Nathan quickly earned his fondness.
Years later, while Nathan was searching for part-time jobs after entering university, he happened to run into the man again. That's when Park offered him a tutoring job — teaching his twelve-year-old daughter.
Needing money, Nathan accepted without a second thought. Since then, for nearly two years, he'd been a regular visitor at the Park residence.
"I hear a lot about you from Hannah," the man said as he drove toward his house, located near the City Central Mall — a detail that already said plenty about his wealth.
"I hope she says good things," Nathan replied lightly, trying not to sound too dull.
Park — formally known as Logan Park — chuckled. "All I ever hear are praises. She keeps talking about how dedicated you are and how much effort you put into teaching her."
Nathan sighed softly. "Well, you did give me Olivia's responsibility even though I was just a student myself. That pushed me to take it seriously."
Logan smiled warmly. "You're being far too formal with me, Nathan." Resting a hand on his shoulder, he added, "You're like a son to me."
Nathan gave a faint, wry smile. *Right… he's at least better than that bastard.*
Every time he thought of his father, the hatred resurfaced — sharp and undiminished, no matter how much time passed.
That man had abandoned their family and remarried only weeks after their mother died.
At first, he sent money to Nathan's aunt, with whom the two brothers stayed. But the moment Nathan turned eighteen and decided to live on his own, his father completely cut him off — as if the blood they shared meant nothing.
Still, Nathan never once begged him for help. People called it pride, but toward that man, it was more than that. He'd rather die than ask him for anything.
"Nathan?" Logan's voice pulled him back from his thoughts.
"Ah, yes?"
"We've arrived. Are you alright?" the man asked, noticing his distant look.
Nathan nodded quickly. He wasn't about to tell Logan what was on his mind. After all, the man Nathan despised was, to Logan, still a good friend.
They soon stepped out of the car and advanced toward the elevator.
Exchanging a few words about his college life and work, they soon reached the seventh floor as the elevator stopped with a *Ding*
Stepping out, Nathan was greeted with the familiar sight of the brown big door with the number plate of '703'.
There are only three houses on each floor and each one had their windows facing a scenic side.
Nathan remained standing as Logan pressed the doorbell.
"Coming!" They heard a familiar voice from the other side and much to Nathan's surprise, he saw Logan pulling a small bouquet of flowers from his working bag.
'Very thoughtful...' He smiled warmly.
The relationship between the husband and wife is so good that Nathan wants to become like them once he got married.
Soon, the door parted, revealing a beautiful brunette wearing a plain blue blouse and a skirt that reached her knees.
Her brown short hair was tied in a rough bun and the lady appeared quite disheveled—maybe she was in the kitchen.
Her thin waist didn't give justice to her massive bust which had troubled Nathan a lot in the past. But now he was used to looking away whenever she wore a low cut top like this one.
"Hey, honey." Logan stepped forward and gave a brief hug to his wife and offered the flowers
Hannah, though, turned towards Nathan with her brows raised,
"What a pleasant surprise for you to come too." She sounded genuinely pleased rather than forcing herself to say that.
However, Nathan didn't reply to her ...no, his focus wasn't on her at all, rather, on the system screen that popped up the moment Hannah appeared before him.
[Target found]
[Name: Hannah Park]
[Age: 33]
[Tier: S]
[For the sake of your brother's recovery, you need to seduce the target within ten days.]
Nathan was too stunned to even breath.
Did..the devil lie to him about Nathan's job to seduce the woman whose partners are cheating on them?
Or if that Devil was telling the truth and this system wasn't flawed then does that mean...Doctor Park was actually having an affair?
'This is so fucked up.'
