In Emily Thomas's villa. After struggling with it all day, she finally spoke to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas: "Dad, Mom, I've made up my mind."
"Glad you have. We weren't planning to stay in Veridian much longer anyway, sooner or later we'll go home. If you've decided, we'll book tickets to go back," Jerry Thomas said, then turned to his son Grigor Thomas: "Book four tickets for tomorrow night. Easier to get over the jet lag."
Emily Thomas quietly looked up at her father and said softly, "No need for four tickets. I'm not going home."
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas were surprised, both looking at her: "You're staying?"
Emily Thomas nodded: "Yes."
Jerry Thomas: "But I told you about staying here…"
"Dad, I'm not staying because of him." Emily Thomas looked at Jerry Thomas and said, "I still have my music career to work on. If I just left like this, I'd be letting down my fans, and with you investing in an entertainment company, without me—half of the industry's power—you might lose money."
