Aren headed out of the War God City, he kept his head low as he moved, worried that the guards would be out for him, but none of them were actually looking for him at all, and he managed to leave the city.
Stepping outside, he felt a bit free for the first time, the entire thing with the War God City had been extremely stressful and heavy on him.
Without hesitation, Aren summoned his shadow snake and got on it. He looked back at the city one last time, his friends were still inside there and now he was leaving, not sure of when he'll actually be back.
The snake shot forward in the direction that the town was. He had no idea how long it would take, but he knew what direction the town was in, and he wasn't stopping until he got there.
