Chapter 189 - A Hidden Truth Revealed—Things You Must Know Early to Adapt to the Future

He let out a sigh, deeply annoyed by her behavior. He turned his gaze toward her—looking puzzled himself—and delivered a sharp smack to the back of her head.

She clutched the back of her head in pain, glaring at him furiously. However, her anger quickly turned to bewilderment when she noticed he was also wincing in pain, clutching his own head; she realized then that they shared the same physical damage.

This realization brought back the memory of what Yuta had said while they were on their way to the Market of Mysteries...

...…....….....…

......

….................

She spoke with curiosity as she looked at him, noticing a wound on his neck that seemed strangely familiar. "Strange... how did you get injured on your neck? Is there someone stronger than you, Mr. Yuta Casiral?" There was a hint of subtle mockery in Gia's tone, prompting Yuta to give her a look that suggested he wanted to throw her right out of the moving car.

He spoke with a mocking tone, slowing the vehicle as a herd of deer crossed the road. "It's not a matter of strength, but of intelligence; there are fools out there who think they are the only ones responsible for the consequences of their actions."

...…....….....…

......

….................

Gia spoke as she rolled up the car window, sensing they were about to arrive. "From what I gathered, one half of you attends the Versalkin Academy, yet that half is completely unknown to the academy itself."

"So, why didn't you bring that version of yourself along? And why me? Wouldn't it have been better to have your own protection?" "Your 'other half'—if you share the damage she takes, and she dies, you die too. I imagine she's a beautiful girl, just as you are a vile, despicable, filthy piece of scum."

Yuta kept looking at her with an unreadable expression—was he laughing? Was he stunned? Or did he simply find the situation growing rather odd?

He pulled the car over into a vast, empty space—an expanse the size of three medium-sized soccer fields—leaving her puzzled.

Yuta spoke, snapping her out of her reverie: "When the time comes, you'll find out whether I've invited her or not. That said, I hope you stick to your opinion that my 'other half' is a vile, despicable, filthy piece of scum. It'll be hilarious for me when you finally find out who she is—hahahahaha."

...…....….....…

......

….................

Jiya narrowed her eyes in clear annoyance as she looked at Yuta, who was suppressing his laughter behind a calm facade. She decided to change the subject and return to the primary reason for his visit: telling her everything she needed to know.

She spoke in a calm tone while looking at him, prompting Yuta to turn serious in kind. "It is time to tell me everything important right now, Great Architect Yuto."

Yuta pondered for a few minutes before speaking in a calm voice: "Five hundred trillion years ago, at the Palace of Versalkin, the Exalted, Revered, and Great Outcast Messenger Astratos..."

........….....

...…........…

........…

Five hundred trillion years ago, at the palace... Astratus—the Exalted, Revered, and Outcast Messenger—sat in the office of Ji Yao Li, the Chief Guardian of the Sacred Tree of Existence.

They exchanged calm glances that masked immense power and a truly terrifying stature. Astratus spoke in a quiet, inquiring tone: "What is it, Chief Guardian Ji Yao Li? Is there something you require of me?"

Ji Yao Li let out a sigh heavy with weariness and exhaustion, surprising Astratus. "I had intended to invite you here in three days, but I changed my mind. I suspect that other Guardians of the Sacred Tree of Existence wish to kill me—as well as the Path-Ruling Master and his brethren—yet, at the same time, I feel that my death would be the best course of action right now."

"That is why I am entrusting you with the Shard of the Great Outcast and the Nameless Shard. Although they are currently fused together, the time will come when they break free."

Astratus took the box he was handed; it felt unnaturally heavy, as if it contained more than just the shards. He decided to overlook this, attributing the weight to the presence of the two shards or perhaps something else—he could not be certain.

He stored the items within his personal dimensional space while gazing calmly at Ji Yao Li, his eyes holding a hidden sorrow; Ji Yao Li was his mentor, and hearing such words from him was deeply saddening. "Master Ji Yao Li, I doubt this is the best choice. You are incredibly powerful and could defeat them; why would you let them kill you?"

A faint smile appeared on his face. Ji Yao Li listened to the words of the Great Exiled Messenger, Astratus.

He spoke in a calm tone, filled with a sense of ease and acceptance: "I feel empty, as if parts of me have detached from my being. It is an incredibly painful sensation; that is why I feel that death might be the best option—a way to find the path back to those lost fragments, or seeds, or whatever they may be."

The Great Exiled Messenger, Astratus, did not utter a single word as he gazed at Ji Yao Li. He then rose from his seat and said, "I believe I should take my leave now, Lord Guardian of the Sacred Tree of Existence, Ji Yao Li."

Ji Yao Li remained silent; he simply watched the Great Exiled Messenger, Astratus, leave his office, his gaze holding a sorrow that lay beneath the surface.

Jiya listened to Yuta's words with a measure of astonishment, recalling what "Nameless" had said: that for five hundred trillion years, she had been a part of Yuta, and that breaking through to the Boundless Rank was the only way for her to become free—though doing so would mean losing the power boost she gained whenever she was near Yuta.

Nevertheless, she quickly accepted the situation; after all, nothing comes for free—one must give something up to gain something else.

"So, you are heading to the Northern Continent—specifically to the Hua Yu Clan, where Zhao Li used to live, aren't you?" Jiya asked in a calm tone, looking at Yuta as he lay on the bed.

Yuta, however, did not bother to answer her question, as there were matters more important than visiting the Northern Continent at that moment. He turned his attention to Jia, who was lying beside him.

"Now that you've achieved a true breakthrough, what will you do next? Will you rest until the time comes to break through to the Boundless rank and obtain your wings, or something else? Yuta's voice was laced with curiosity as he looked at her.

She remained silent, however; he realized she either didn't want to reveal her plans or was still annoyed that he had ignored her earlier. He stood up and left her bedroom.

As he walked out, he said with a hint of sarcasm, "You should get some rest, or you'll never have sweet dreams again."

Jiya looked at him in surprise as he left, then turned her gaze back to the ceiling—her expression calm yet deeply troubled—as she recalled those dreams.

She muttered in an exasperated tone, "So that child was Yuta... but who was that woman with the blue hair?"

Her expression shifted to a mix of sadness and anger; the fact that she wasn't fully human distressed her deeply. She had once convinced herself she felt nothing, but that had been a lie.

"It's annoying—so incredibly annoying. It makes me furious. I'm just... some arrogant fool who thinks she's the queen of the world." Her voice was thick with anger and sorrow as she angrily flung her pillow aside.

Yet, feeling only a mounting sense of rage, frustration, and sadness, she sat up again—only to find a young man sitting in her desk chair, wearing a faint smile.

She nervously wiped away her tears as she looked at him. "What the hell is he doing here?" she wondered aloud, her voice full of bewilderment.

He looked back at her. He shifted his posture to speak more casually, his expression turning to one of surprise; he then rose and walked toward her, leaving her equally bewildered.

"Ms. Jia, what's wrong? You look so sad—is something the matter? Oh, I forgot to introduce myself; I am Bou-Taleb. I was born while you were asleep. It's a pleasure to meet you." Bou-Taleb's voice was filled with cheer as he looked at her.

He sat down beside her, ignoring her look of shock and confusion; she turned her gaze toward him, unable to utter a word.

She then summoned the resource window, and her shock deepened:

[25 × Legendary-rank Energy Recovery Potion

12 × Legendary-rank Refinement Pill

10 × Legendary-rank Healing Potion

13 × Rank 9 Gu Refining Recipe

3 × Rank 9 Enslavement Gu

14 × Legendary-rank 'Shun-Kung' 100-Move Art Manual

First Creator's Phone (Rank: ????) [Retrieved]

Nameless Wing Cultivation Manual (Rank: ???)

5 × Fantasy World Demon Gem (Rank: ???)

Empress Xiao Yi's Robe (Rank: ???)] Jia stared at the resource list for a few seconds before shifting her gaze back to Boutaleb, speaking in a tone of shock: "Are you... a phone? But I was using you just minutes ago."

Boutaleb's expression shifted to one of understanding; he smiled faintly, transformed into the original phone, and then immediately reverted to his human form.

"Yes, as I said before, I was born from a phone and a sample of your DNA—which is why your photo is on the device. But there's no need to worry; I just wanted to see my mother, nothing more. That's why I'll rarely appear—hahahaha!" Boutaleb's voice was filled with happiness as he looked at her.

His eyes began to close on their own, and he rested his head in Jia's lap. She was bewildered for a moment, watching as he transformed back into a phone.

She picked up the phone cautiously; seeing an eighteen-year-old young man turn into a phone was strange enough to make anyone wary and suspicious of whatever might happen next.

After spending a few minutes searching through the phone, she lay back down, trying to make sense of the situation.

"It's incredibly strange—a phone turning into a human and then back into a phone. Wait a minute... aren't you part of that other entity, and at the same time, half of Yuta?" She sighed, wiping her face in extreme annoyance and frustration.

However, the system screen that suddenly appeared out of thin air before her eyes brought her some relief.

As Jia gazed at the system screen, the world around her began to shift and change. She found herself in a room cluttered with clothes, where Bou-Taleb sat using his phone.

She was utterly bewildered, yet she paid it little mind; their home wasn't large—consisting only of a standard room, a guest room, and a kitchen—so this particular room served as a communal space for watching television and resting.

She began to wander around the room, trying to find anything that might be of use to her. Finding nothing useful, she glanced at him again, only to see him still using his phone.

She sighed in clear annoyance and moved to sit beside him to see what he was actually doing. She discovered he was watching *Isekai* anime—a discovery that left her frustrated, as she had found nothing of value amidst this chaotic mess.

However, her expression shifted when she saw him open his notes. She grew excited to see what was inside, though her look soon turned to bewilderment as she read what was written:

[In a certain world, demons appeared and began battling humanity, bringing magical powers with them. Meanwhile, Son Goku and his companions were fighting Black Frieza; the price of defeating him was Goku sacrificing his own life.

Goku later woke up to find himself beside a woman he didn't know—named Semira—who called him "son," surrounded by strangers. He realized he was in another world. Everyone was astonished that he was still alive, though his mana was tainted by a mixture of dark mana and the holy mana of angels—creatures resembling humans, distinguished by their pure mana, stunning beauty, and blue skin. After the others left, Goku was startled when a screen suddenly appeared before him. A host spoke: "I know you are nervous; please calm down. I am the system that will serve you—the 'Devouring System.' You have received two skills from me: the 'Holy' skill, which prevents you from using your power..."] The Saiyan genes have also been transferred to you, meaning you can access your transformations. Furthermore, your Dark Mana and Holy Mana are equal in power, with each individually matching your total power. Finally, the combined total of your Saiyan, Demonic, and Angelic mana equals your full power. Your power has now reached a state where 1% equals 670 million—an immense figure. How did you attain such strength? The system caused you to evolve infinitely without conditions, granting you the full power you would have possessed had you been a hybrid from birth—specifically, the power level you had at the start of your fight against Frieza. You are 50% Saiyan, 25% demon, and 25% angel—a combination that grants you immense power. "System, tell me: is there a way to control both Dark Mana and Holy Mana?" "There is a way: you must reach the fourth level of the Mana Sword or Mana Spear. Until then, I will prevent the Dark and Holy Mana from clashing within you." "Very well, I choose the sword." The following day, when they went to name him, he spoke up and said, "I am called Son Goku." Everyone was astonished by his ability to speak while still an infant, and people began to wonder how such a thing was possible—how could a child speak at such a tender age? Time passed, and when Goku turned six, he began his training. One day, while he was training, his half-brother Caesar (his father's son) entered and began to mock him for his inability to use Mana. "Ha! Look at yourself; you are a disgrace to the royal family—fitting for the son of a servant." Goku said to himself, "I have reached the first level of Sword Mana." [Flashback: "Come to me, you monsters! 'Strike of the Blood Night'!" He annihilated them. What was this? A hidden tunnel. A system notification appeared: "Host, inside this cave lies the Sword of Athena—the Sword of the First Demon King—ranked among the most powerful swords ever forged. You must obtain it, Goku." "What a beautiful sword. What do you think, System?" "It suits you, my lord." "Caesar, you scoundrel! Speak up—has the cat got your tongue?" Goku provoked him. "You're just a little kid still hiding in his mother's arms." "Caesar..." "Goku, I challenge you to a royal duel." "Fine, I accept your challenge." "The duel will take place in a week. Prepare to be defeated." Caesar left with a cunning laugh. The next day, Goku began training by slaying monsters and absorbing their power through the "Devour" skill and his Saiyan genes; he also extracted the shadows of those he killed. He reached the fourth level of Sword Mana. A week later, the battle between Goku and Caesar began. Caesar said, "I didn't think you were serious about fighting me, Goku." Goku replied, "Hah." "You're a joke—as if I'd be afraid of *you*! You're dreaming." *Clang, clang* went the sound of swords. Goku had unlocked a second form of the Mana Sword—how did he manage that? It had taken Caesar four years just to master the first form. "Don't get distracted during the fight, Goku! Lotus Blossom Strike!" Caesar thought, *How did he beat me? I need to be stronger.* Goku won the bout. A wise elder thought to himself, *What is this? How does a child possess such power? His aura is terrifying; it bears no resemblance to the usual Goku.* Goku spoke via telepathy: "Listen, I don't care who you are. If you utter another word, I'll kill you." Caesar seethed, *I won't let a maid's son beat me—it's impossible! Take this and die!* Suddenly, an intense pressure filled the air—it was his father, Malider, the Demon King. "You... Nobles do not betray their own kin. Apologize to your brother immediately, Caesar." "Yes, Father," Caesar replied, trembling with fear. "Little brother, I ask for your forgiveness for my despicable actions." Goku, his eyes glowing with a demonic hue, replied, "I accept your apology, brother. It's fine—it was just a fight between siblings. But if you ever do it again, I'll kill you instantly." Caesar thought, *What is this pressure? It's even stronger than Father Malider's aura.* "Goku, come to my office tonight. Understood?" "Very well, Father." Goku left to continue training with the Mana Sword. That night, he went to see his father; upon his arrival, Malider unleashed a powerful aura that knocked Goku to the ground. "What is this intense pressure?" "Endure this aura." Goku stopped his father's aura and began to laugh. "My son, I have a question for you, Goku." "What is it?" "Why are you training at such an early age?" *Is it because he wants to become stronger?* "Hmm, very well." He thought to himself, *What an amazing...* He was a poor actor, feigning emotion he didn't truly feel. Five years later, Goku had reached Level 13 in the Mana Sword technique. One night at dinner, Goku said, "Father, I want to join the Ghens Magic Academy." His stepmother, Loria, cut him off: "You aren't going; I won't allow it." Both Loria and Caesar were stunned as she continued, "Samira, you won't be going to the demonic Ghens Academy; instead, you will attend the Volgis Academy of Magic—the one for humans." Goku replied, "Alright, Mother," though he was hesitant. Samira added, "You will go in a year, once you turn twelve." Goku checked his system status and found he had reached Level 13 in the Mana Sword technique, holding an A-rank as a Shadow King. His stats showed infinite power, infinite mana capacity, and an intelligence of 2354.

She spoke inwardly, her tone filled with utter bewilderment as she read the text before her: "Are you kidding me? What the hell? Is he being punished for writing this garbage, or what?"

She glanced at him and saw a smile full of enthusiasm; she couldn't understand why he was so happy while writing something like that.

She stepped back, leaving him to type rapidly from where he had left off. Later, she sat beside him again and noticed a burn mark on his left shoulder—one resembling the mark she had seen on Yuta back when she woke from the coma following the battle at Vermon Solterk in the city of Yuher Spek. She sighed as she looked at him, surprised that she couldn't see what he was writing. This made her realize something was amiss—especially after hearing him mention a protagonist's name that differed from what she had read in the chapter.

However, she didn't dwell on it for long; after all, if she were meant to see the memories contained within the notebook, it would have been opened right from the start.

She stood up, deciding to wander around the house in hopes of finding something, since Boutaleb had also left the room. Yet, she was surprised to find herself unable to leave; an invisible barrier was blocking her path.

She turned her gaze toward the phone, which was glowing with a brilliant white light, making her realize she was tethered to it.

"So that's why I moved to a street near his house... it seems I'm bound to this phone," Jiya said calmly. She looked at the phone again, but the text was unintelligible—save for the part she had read earlier.

She sat down near the phone, watching calmly and waiting for Boutaleb to return and do whatever he intended to do.

A few minutes passed before he returned, carrying a tray with food, fruit juice, and two glasses—a detail that puzzled her slightly.

He sat beside her, looking a bit awkward, and immediately turned off his phone. "Right... you're back. What was your name again?"

Jiya looked at him calmly; since they had managed to see her before, this wasn't impossible or even new to them. She then spoke in a calm tone while looking at him, trying to understand the world she currently found herself in: "Yes, I have returned "By the way, I'm Boutaleb. It's a pleasure to meet you, Jia."

Boutaleb looked at her for a few seconds before pouring juice for both of them, saying, "It was a pleasure meeting you, Jia."

Jia didn't say a word; she simply stared at a burn mark for a few moments before dismissing the matter entirely.

She then gently ruffled his hair—causing his face to turn bright red with embarrassment—before pulling her hand away with a soft laugh.

"You're an odd one, Boutaleb, full of strange ideas—just like you. Still, I don't know if you should continue or stop; that's up to you." Jia's tone was thoughtful as she looked at him and the system interface floating around her.

The world began to return to its normal state. She lay on her bed, gazing calmly at the ceiling with a faint smile, before rising energetically and enthusiastically.

She was then surprised by a system notification regarding an audio recording, prompting her to listen to it.

[Today is Thursday, March 18, 2027 / 9 Shawwal 1448—I'm not entirely sure about the Hijri date. Anyway, I'm in the city of Oran, and it's 6:30 AM.

It's a rather lovely day—the day I was born and entered this world. I'm turning 19. I don't feel anything unusual; I've never really been one to celebrate my birthday since I was little.

And yet, I feel a certain sadness...] My gift was to be erased entirely from the world's records—to become someone who simply does not exist, whether in official documents or in the memories and thoughts of those close to me.

That solitary birthday gift was one of the worst experiences of my entire life. I began to lose track of who I was; had I not preserved a few simple details about myself, I would have forgotten my own identity completely. These recordings serve as a constant reminder of who I am.

It is an incredibly distressing feeling, yet I am powerless to do anything but weep silently as I watch others celebrating their happiness. Birthdays never mattered to me anyway; they were never a significant part of my life.

I feel such deep frustration, yet the world seems intent on my suffering. It isn't fair at all—it isn't fair in the slightest.

Jiya continued listening to the audio recording in silence. She then returned the device to its original spot in her inventory, sighed wearily, and closed her eyes, surrendering to sleep—exhausted by the side effects of using the "Queen of the World's Memories" ability and the "Nameless Palace."
