Kael carried Jojo around the Queen's courtyard as they were waiting for Sisi to be done with her bath and taking care of herself.
She was always busy taking care of Jojo, and in some situations, taking care of the Beast King too, so she deserved to have time for herself, even for an hour or two.
However, Jojo wasn't as understanding as his father. He sulked when Sisi wasn't by his side, and now that he was blind, he became even more possessive of Sisi. He was like a monkey who wanted to latch onto his mother every second.
"I know you don't like spending time with me alone, but why don't you fake it a little, boy?" Kael teased. "I'm still your Daddy, even if you have a Mommy now."
"I like you too, Daddy. But it's really lonely without Sisi around. You are always quiet without her!" Jojo pointed out.
Kael sighed.
Well, his son wasn't wrong.
