Jaden blinked...and suddenly he was back in his seat. Same Math class.
The first thing he did was checked the clock and it read 12:16p.m
Just four minutes earlier from when he was solving the question. Jaden looked around confused .
He thinks:
"Huh? Didn't i.....stand up already?"
He tried to ignore the feeling, Déjà vu? or maybe he was just tired.
But then the teacher called him again, same tone, same sentence and the same equation he had already solved staring at him.
He stood up. Slower this time.
Walking to the whiteboard, he picked up the chalk and started writing. This time he turned back to the teacher and then.....FLASH.
He was back in his seat but this time he saw a faint translucent bar— like a hologram—floating in the air.
"Loading... 23%"
Jaden breath stops for a second.
He looks around and taps the student behind him.
"Hey..."he asked.
The student looked up, raising an eyebrow
"What?".
Jaden whispered,"Can you see this thing that's floating?".
The student looked in the direction Jaden pointed in and looked back at him.
"Are you.....on something?".
"What? No!".
The student looked at the teacher and raised up his hand.
"Sir, Jaden needs to go to the nurse's office, he's not feeling too good".
"Is that so?" The teacher asked.
Jaden looked between the student and teacher and stood up,"As a matter of fact...um....my stomach hurts....could i go?".
The teacher stared at him for a while and sighed,"fine,you can but hurry up and come back when you feel better".
Hearing that, Jaden went outside and started walking to the nurse's office.
Jaden looked up and saw the screen again. This time he tried to touch it but his hand just went through it.
"Loading...49%"
He pulled back his arm. Then he looked back at the screen and thought," I can't be going crazy.....can i?".
Jaden got to the nurse's office and knocked her door.
"Mrs. Kimberly, are you there?". He asked.
