Chapter 7 : The Racer's World
ERINA : "Welp, the police stole it"
VINNE : "HUH..?!"ETHER : "You're screwed.. Hahaha.."
JAYCE : "We're not getting that cash back then.."
VINNE : "Can't like-.. Shial compensate me something for it?"
ETHER : "If she knows you or likes your vibe then she could.."
ERINA : "You're the son of Renz Aylron~ I think she'll like you!"
ETHER : "Afterall.. It's not her fault the cash got nicked by cops'.."
VINNE : "I gotta meet her then.."
JAYCE : "That sucks.. First win and you don't even get your prize.."
ETHER : "Maybe you could get a different kind of prize off her tomorrow night.."
VINNE : "Tomorrow night..?"
ETHER : "She's hosting a car meetup party at Minato Mirai.."
JAYCE : "She rented a parking lot..?"
ETHER : "Seems like it.. She just posted it earlier.."
JAYCE : "How rich is she now? She disappeared for a month and came back with all this cash.."
ETHER : "Bitch probably won the lottery.."
ERINA : "I wish I'd be rich like her.."
VINNE : "Was she ever this rich..?"
JAYCE : "Nope.. She'd illegally close off roads for races and just find an empty lot and trespass it and use it for car meetups.. Never expected her to be renting a whole public parking lot for a meet up party.."
LEX : "Why not we come?"
VINNE : "Wouldn't there be a lot of people there..?"
JAYCE : "Don't worry about it.."
LEX : "Riri, you wanna come?"
ERINA : "Mhm! I need my pizza."
LEX : "Alright, plus we need Vinne to get his money too, right?"
VINNE : "Well.. yeah…"
LEX : "Well then! Let's go tomorrow night!"
—The next night, 9:24PM. Vinne, Jayce, Ether, Phoebe and Lex are on their way to Minato Mirai Public Parking lot. All driving their cars aside for Lex who's in the passenger seat of Erina's Nissan 180SX.
—The group arrives shortly after at Minato Mirai Public Parking lot.. The parking lot is filled with JDM Cars with such vloggers and photographers taking pictures of them..
VINNE :-So many people.. It's just like Daikoku..-
—The group parks their car all separately as there was barely any spots where they could all park right beside each other. Vinne parked only a few occupied parking spaces from Jayce, Ether parked right infront of the parking space Erina and Lex were taking.
LEX : "You wanna stick together and look around..?"ERINA : "Wait let me take a picture.."
—She takes her phone out and start taking pictures of the area..
LEX : "Do you seriously need to always keep updating your fans?"
ERINA : "It's content!"
—The two started walking around..
VINNE : "Where can I find Shial..?"
JAYCE : "Ether usually knows.. but don't know where he is so I guess we'll look around."
—The two as well began to walk around..
VINNE : "So many damn people here.. You really think we'll find Shial here..?"
JAYCE : "She's usually in the middle of the party just chilling.. We'll find her.."
VINNE : "Isn't she like a VIP in the Car world here..? How come you're even able to be so close with her..?"
JAYCE : "I'm pretty known here too so.. I slowly gained reputation and became known around here.. Guess you can say I'm a V.I.P.!"
VINNE : "Don't gotta rub it on my face, damn."
JAYCE : "Hahaha.. Didn't mean to.."
VINNE : "How long you been doing racings'..?"
JAYCE : "For as long as I've been a dropout."
VINNE : "Shouldn't you be rich by then..?"
JAYCE : "Don't really care about money.. I'm just enjoying life through buying used cars, mod it, race it, sell it, repeat."
VINNE : "Until..?"
JAYCE : "Maybe till I'm old as tito, then I'd probably do Rally."
VINNE : "We really tryna' enjoy life through cars, huh?"
JAYCE : "Car Enthusiasts.. That's us! We love cars as if it's our soul."
—Meanwhile.. Lex and Erina walking around looking for something to do… Erina sees a Infiniti G35 revving and backfiring it's exhaust..
ERINA : "Woah.. That's a loud G35.."
LEX : "Sounds like straight pipe.."
—Erina sees a person on the side selling Die-Cast car models..
ERINA : "DAD! DAD! CAN I GET ONEE!!??"
LEX : "Uh-.. Okay,,"
—The two approaches the seller as Erina picks one of the Die-Cast models of a Mazda MX-5
LEX : "An MX-5..?"
ERINA : "Why not? IT'S CUTEE"
—Lex pays the seller and Erina smiles as she takes a picture of the Mazda MX-5 Die-Cast model..
LEX : "One of your dream cars or..?"
ERINA : "Wow! You read my mind!"
—Back to Vinne and Jayce where they are both still walking around until they find a van in the middle with a bunch of people around it..
JAYCE : "I'm guessing that's her."
VINNE : "That.. That van that celebrities use to travel for their Met Gala?"
JAYCE : "Yeah.. I'm only guessing though."
VINNE : "Could you confirm before we barge in there lookin' stupid..??"
JAYCE : "The speaker she used yesterday is outside so…"
VINNE : "Fine.."
JAYCE : "Come on.. Let's head in."
—The two heads in the van..
JAYCE : "Shiallll~..?"
—Once they head in.. It's a completely different atmosphere with a luxurious look inside.. With Shial on the couch sitting and watching TV..
SHIAL : "J-.. Jayce..?"
JAYCE : "Shial!"
SHIAL : "Jay-cee! It's been a while!"
JAYCE : "Yeah.. How's it been?"
SHIAL : "Are you blind or something? Of course I'm doing fantastic!"
JAYCE : "How'd you get so rich? Like damn! You came back out of nowhere with a damn Urus!"
SHIAL : "Investment™"
JAYCE : "On what?"
SHIAL : "Stocks™"
JAYCE : "You got rich that quick? Goddamn!"
SHIAL : "It changed my life completely, haha!"
JAYCE : "Anyways.. Meet my cousin Vinne.. He was the winner in the race you hosted last night."
VINNE : "Hey.."
—Vinne waves at Shial..
SHIAL : "Eh?! It was your cousin who won last night?! Well he nailed that race!"
VINNE : "Yeah-.. The one that couldn't drift.."
JAYCE : "My other cousin Lex who drove the RX-7 raced too."
SHIAL : "The entire Aylron getting into racing now??"
JAYCE : "Uh.. Guess so.. Hahah!"
SHIAL : "But still, congrats on winning.. Uhhh Bine..?"
VINNE : "Vinne.. Or just call me Vin."
SHIAL : "My bad~"
SHIAL : "Sit down you too.. Make yourself at home!"
—Jayce and Vinne sits down at the seats inside the Luxury Van..
JAYCE : "This place looks so-.. expensive.."
SHIAL : "You want it..?"
JAYCE : "..Uh… No thanks."
SHIAL : "Awe.."
JAYCE : "With all this money.. I'm sure you got a new whip, right?"
SHIAL : "Bingo, which brand though?"
JAYCE : "I-.. A BMW?"
SHIAL : "Guess again.."
JAYCE : "Porsche..? Audi..?"
SHIAL : "Okay, which Porsche?"
JAYCE : "Knowing you, probably a Carrera?"
SHIAL : "A Carrera GT, close one~"
JAYCE : "The car you can hate and love.."
—Quick silence as Shial takes a sip of her beer..
SHIAL : "Forget about me!"
SHIAL : "Vayne! How was the route for a first race..?"
VINNE : "I-.. It was alright.. Though I did a wrong turn at the end of the Bay Bridge so almost crashed into some cars haha.."
SHIAL : "Even that.. You still won~"
VINNE : "Well-.. Yeah.."
JAYCE : "He was wondering about his money.."
VINNE : "Why so out of nowhere..?!"
SHIAL : "Oh! Yes.. His cash prize.. Well.."
SHIAL : "The Cops nicked it and took it from me sadly so can't do much for you.."
JAYCE : "Damn.. Those cops really stole Vinne's money.."
VINNE : "Ah.. At this point, I don't really mind.. At least I got my first win..!"
SHIAL : "That-.. That was your first race..?"
VINNE : "My-.. My first win too.."SHIAL : "I-.. Impressive.."
VINNE : "I-.. I'm just a rookie.. Hahahaha.."
SHIAL : "Screw it! I'm giving you double the money AND any part you'll need!"
VINNE : "EH..?! Wha-..?! Uhm-.. No need to..! I-"
SHIAL : "No, no, no.. Sshhhhh… It's your first win so take the big prize~.."
VINNE : "But-"
SHIAL : "NO BUTS! Just take the prize as a celebration for your first ever win!"
VINNE : "Uh-.. T-.. Thank you.. Thank you so much..!"
JAYCE : "Lucky kid.. Hahahaha.. Thank so much Shial.."
SHIAL : "Aye! Anything to help a friend and a new racer around here! Matter of fact.. Why don't we make this party be a celebration for a new racer and his first win and race!"
VINNE & JAYCE : "No, no, no.. You don't have to-"
—Before they could finish speaking.. Shial comes out of the Van and screamed into a Megaphone speaker..
SHIAL : "EVERYONE! TONIGHT! WE CELEBRATE VINNE AYLRON'S FIRST RACE AND WIN!"
—Everyone started clapping…
VINNE :-Oh god..-
—The party has officially begun. The entire parking lot is now filled with tables and drinks in the middle while drifters would drift on the side to enjoy the party. It was filled with other Car enthusiasts who brought their modified and tuned cars in the party to show off and have a great time.
ETHER : "VIN-NEE~"
—Vinne, who was leaning against a concrete beam drinking his beer was approached by Ether.
VINNE : "..?"
ETHER : "It's party night~ Come on and enjoy the damn night!"
VINNE : "I-.. I'm not the kind to party but this seems fun already.."
ETHER : "Look.. Just join Lex drinking there or maybe even Jayce.."
VINNE : "I-.. I'll join you guys in a bit.."
ETHER : "You better, This is your party afterall~"
—Vinne looks at the distance seeing all his friends have fun..
VINNE :-…I thought I would only experience this in college after those exams..-
VINNE :-But I never expected to experience this even if I don't do any exam..
VINNE :-All this racing and car things really opened up a whole lot of opportunities for me.-
VINNE :-Maybe this is why Jayce is still enjoying life even after dropping out.. Cause he pursued what he wanted.-
VINNE :-Maybe if I pursue this as well, I'll end up like dad..-
"I'm glad I went back here.."
—Vinne Aylron, One who thought he was never going anywhere in life till he was picked up and was given a lot of new opportunities.
—The party kept going! With people such as Lex in the middle having drinks to enjoy while some were on the side drifting and taking videos and pictures of the cars..
—It was truly a night full of fun..
—Past Midnight, 2:23AM. Minato Mirai Public Parking Lot.A majority of the people had already left.. Leaving some drunk including Ether and Lex. Their heads resting on the seats..
JAYCE : "What a night.."
SHIAL : "It is a party after all.."
JAYCE : "Thanks for this.. I'll help clean up the mess around here.."
SHIAL : "Ah! No need to worry.. I have a team of cleaners I hired to clean these all up in the morning.."
JAYCE : "That's how rich you are, huh..?"
SHIAL : "Heheh.. Well you and your group better head home.. It's quite late."
JAYCE : "Will do.. Thanks again!"
—Shial walks away as she heads into her van. Jayce approaches the group who were sitting near a concrete beam in the parking lot.. Seeing Erina trying to wake Lex up while Ether was completely knocked down.
ERINA : "Get up drunkard! We got a interview with Lebron!"
JAYCE : "2 alcoholics.. Hahaha.."
JAYCE : "I'll take Ether with me.. You can take Lex home.."
ERINA : "HE ISN'T MY BOYFRIEND! I do not have the responsibility to take a drunkard man home!"
JAYCE : "Or just take him to your place.."
ERINA : "I just said I'm not his girlfriend!"
—Erina struggles to carry Lex's drunken body to her car.. But she still successfully done it.
ERINA : "Atleast pay me to get your cousin home safe.."
JAYCE : "5 bucks."
ERINA : "Scammer."
—Jayce carries Ether's drunk body as well into his passenger's seat.. He looks for Vinne around the parking lot and later finds him on the side wall of the parking lot with a view of the sea.
JAYCE : "Fuck' you doin' here..?"
VINNE : "Yo..! This place is pretty neat.. The view here is relaxing.."
—Jayce stands beside him..
JAYCE : "Hooh.. Pretty cold.."
VINNE : "It's nice.."
JAYCE : "What are you doin' here anyway..?"
VINNE : "Just relaxin'.."
JAYCE : "Well.. Party's over so.."
VINNE : "Already..?"
JAYCE : "Yeah.. Lex and Ether are both knocked out."
VINNE : "Both drunkards.."
JAYCE : "Yep.."
