Phoebe's POV
The first floor of Ramona Bar was always a circus—beautiful faces, spoiled rich kids, and worn-out regulars who'd seen it all before.
Nothing shocked anyone anymore, no matter how wild things got.
So when I ended up with two bratty guys hitting on me, nobody bothered stepping in.
This kind of crap happened every night. Everyone knew that as long as the girl didn't go home with them, those jerks couldn't actually do anything—Ramona Bar's owner kept tight rules about that stuff.
But tonight was different. Because when one of them reached out to grab me, I caught his hand and twisted it back hard.
The music cut out instantly. Then a sharp scream ripped through the lounge.
Nobody saw exactly how I moved, but in a flash, I had the rich prick who'd tried to touch me lifted up and thrown down with a perfect shoulder toss.
He hit the floor hard and stayed there, groaning.
Everyone around us gasped.
