Phoebe's POV
As Patty strutted away, lan flashed her a thumbs-up. "Now that's what I call a true legend," he said with obvious admiration.
I laughed and swatted lan's hand down. "Stop it, why provoke them? The more they act out, the better it is for you, right?"
lan's grin widened. "Absolutely. I'd actually worry if they just sat there quietly doing nothing."
Charlies walked over with the rest of our experimental group just then, offering me a water bottle. "What's got you two cracking up like that?"
I watched lan shoot a meaningful look at Roger, who hung back with the others, before lan made some cryptic hand gesture.
With that mischievous smile of his, lan said, "Can't reveal anything just yet. You'll find out tomorrow."
