Harold's POV
I chuckled softly, knowing Alan wasn't the type to hold back on spending. But my amusement faded quickly when I spotted Jeremy and Phoebe already positioned on the track, worry creeping into my tone. "Think Phoebe's going to play by the rules?"
Alan shifted back on the couch, craning his neck for a clearer view. The second he caught sight of Phoebe—fearless and poised on that blazing red motorcycle—he shook his head with certainty. "Look at those eyes. Not a chance in hell."
I let out a frustrated breath. "That's what I figured."
Pulling out my phone, I dialed quickly. "Alistair, where are you and Malcolm?"
Alan's eyebrows shot up. "Wait, are you seriously thinking about putting both of them on standby?"
"Perfect. Watch her like a hawk. Make sure nothing happens to her," I said into the phone.
After ending the call, I finally managed a grin. "Can't have your one-of-a-kind bike getting totaled on its first run, right?"
