Patty was trailing behind Gaia, shooting daggers at her like she was public enemy number one.
I rolled my eyes internally. Seriously? You're not even worth my time.
I'd already shelled out sixty-six grand to handle this mess, so there was no way I was getting my hands dirty now.
Jefferson spotted our group and walked over with this huge smile plastered on his face, working his way through the greetings. "Mr. Bailey, Mr. Kemp, Mr. Calvin, Miss Hale. Welcome, welcome!"
The guy wasn't running the Dixon family yet, but he was definitely learning the ropes of their business empire. He spent most of his energy there while treating this club like his personal playground—a fun side project that let him build connections in the underground world.
