"What? You don't want to work for me?" the woman said, her voice thickening with each second and every word she spoke.
Aries stared keenly at her, his eyes trailing over her face, searching for every shift in her expression. He saw her eyes darken, her forehead crease, and her lips curl up. Whatever she was thinking, whatever she was scheming, was surely not going to be in his favor.
"That's the issue," Aries said.
He moved about the room and settled on the chair, turning it to face her. His hands cradled his chin as he brooded, his eyes still on her, deep in thought as he stared at her.
'I obviously can't tell her no. With the way she behaves, it shows she knows I'm not telling the complete truth about my identity, and if I were to decline her offer, she'll certainly eat me out.'
