We reached our destination in a team of two.
Team 1 consists of me as the captain, along with Guy, a Yamanaka and Ebisu.
Team 2 consists of a Hyuga, Kurenai, Anko and a Nara, with the Nara as the captain.
The Hyuga activated his Byakugan to see if there is any suspicious activity from Land of Earth.
"Everything is quiet. There doesn't seem to be any suspicious activity."
I nodded, and looked around. It doesn't seem like we will encounter any trouble in this part of the border.
"Keep your positions. And beware of any missing-nins as well. I doubt that Iwa will send someone famous from their village, but unknown ninjas pretending to be not from Iwa, and especially missing-nins are on the table— Dodge!"
We jumped away from our place, and lightning struck where we were standing.
This is bad...
I lifted my headband, and unlocked the Sharingan seal."
"So you dodged. No wonder, you are Kakashi of the Sharingan. Let's see..."
He came in front of us without any fear, and took out his Bingo book.
What is Kakuzu doing here...
"40 million..."
His eyes gained a glint as he said my bounty price.
I said, "Konoha has been looking to hire you, Kakuzu. 50 million a month for the duration of 3 years."
Kakuzu stopped to consider it.
"What's the job?"
"Bounty hunting Iwa, Kumo and Kiri ninjas."
"Then I need proof, and one month in advance."
I nodded, and took out a scroll from my bag.
"Here."
I threw the scroll at him.
The fight is about to start.
(3rd PoV)
Kakuzu was obviously suspicious about this offer.
These two squads seemed to be for scouting against Iwa instead of searching for him for a job.
But the offer was tempting, and more than 10 times from what Iwa has offered him.
Just verifying it wouldn't hurt.
He cautiously opened it, and actually found the offer, with Hokage's seal on it.
Though it didn't seem to be specifically addressed—
*BOOM!*
The scroll exploded near his chest, carrying a thousand paper bombs.
Two of his heart got destroyed!
He can no longer use Lightning and Earth release.
'Dammit! How— ah. Genjutsu.'
Instead of some obvious genjutsu, Kakashi must have put him under genjutsu to think of the scroll containing a thousand paper bombs as an actual offer contract.
Kakuzu couldn't believe that he fell for such an obvious trick. Maybe he should stop being so greedy for money?
Well, it doesn't matter. He will get his 40 million and Kakashi's heart to replace his own lightning heart.
And Sharingan itself separately will sell for quite a bit.
He stood up, looking at the battle ready brats.
"H-how!? I am sure that he died!"
The Nara shouted in surprise.
"Even First Hokage, Hashirama couldn't kill me. You brats are nothing."
Meanwhile, the Yamanaka has connected the minds of everyone. And Guy has entered fourth gate.
Kakashi said, 'He has five hearts. Two are destroyed. Hyuga, share the positions of his other hearts to others! I and Guy will go on offensive, rest of you support us! Focus on the masks!'
Kakashi and Guy rushed to Kakuzu, and Kakuzu took out his Water heart mask to take care of the brats in the back, while he activated Earth Grudge Fear.
'Fire Style: Intelligent Hard Work!'
'Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!'
With a combination of Fire and Wind style, Kakuzu launched a deadly combination jutsu.
Both Kakashi and Guy easily dodged the attack, and Guy hit a mask, shattering it.
Kakashi was also about to his other mask, but he Kakuzu's black threads caught him.
'Got him! Now the taijutsu freak!'
The Kakashi transformed into lightning. Shocking and paralyzing him.
Real Kakashi came from below, about to strike him with Rasengan.
But Kakuzu's water mask attacked Kakashi at the last moment and saved Kakuzu from getting his another heart destroyed.
Kakashi and Guy retreated for a bit.
Kakuzu is down to two hearts. Fire and Water.
But Kakashi isn't faring well either. Sharingan, Lightning Clone, and Rasengan.
He can use two Chidori at most.
'Guy, are you alright?'
'Yosh! This is our Youthful battle that I have been wanting!'
'Yamanaka, take control of his mind, now! And Nara, fix him and the heart mask in place!'
'Yes!'
'Yes!'
With Kakuzu paralysed, Yamanaka could properly aim and took over Kakuzu's mind.
And Nara used Shadow Possession to fix the heart mask in place.

As Kakashi did the handsigns, the noise of a thousand birds started ringing. His hand was covered in lightning.
'It's time to finish this!'
