Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 The Vanished Pudding

Elarind had never met such a strange nun before, no, never met such an odd human being!

Completely unable to maintain the proper demeanor of an Elf Princess, her small face was flushed with a shy blush.

"Why so surprised?" Renia comforted her in a slightly flat tone:

"We're both women, just looking, is all. Could it be that elves are built differently?"

"You, you, you..." Elarind was so shocked that she couldn't utter a complete sentence.

Renia naturally didn't care. She was only showing it to a fellow female elf, not exposing herself to the opposite sex in public.

As long as they don't touch, everything is fine.

Renia turned around and closed the door of the church, her hand groping on the wall by the door, and it took her a while to find the switch.

Pa.

The magic lamp in the church hall lit up.

Magic lamps, constructed with magic, are magical tools used for lighting, basically magic-powered light tubes.

"What are you doing?" Elarind asked in confusion, not understanding Renia's actions.

"Listening to you tell a story." Renia responded, then added after thinking:

"Don't worry, the church is closed at night, no one will come, and I won't open the door if they do.

Although I don't need light, you do."

"Oh, oh." Elarind nodded.

Renia carried the wine box to the lectern, moved two chairs, opened the wine box, and placed the wine and snacks on the table of the lectern.

"I have wine, now tell me your story." Renia held out her hand, gesturing for her to sit in the empty seat in front of her.

"Oh, oh." Elarind carefully sized up the black cloth on Renia's face, temporarily suppressing her excess worries and sat down, cautiously opening her mouth:

"Nun, aren't you bound by precepts?"

Renia replied: "I'm not."

"Won't it affect tomorrow's prayers?"

"Then close the door and take a day off."

"..."

Elarind was silent. She felt that she didn't need to be curious about the nun in front of her anymore. She would destroy all her impressions of nuns.

Renia sat up boldly, her skirt fully revealing everything to the elf girl opposite her, and she opened the wine bottle stopper and held her hand suspended in front of the Elf Princess.

"Can you drink it?"

"Yes, our race also drinks wine during festivals."

"Then let's start your story." Renia took a big gulp, wiping away the spilled wine with her hand in a heroic manner:

"Oh, right, before we start, let me ask, are you not ugly?"

"Not ugly!" Elarind couldn't keep up with the nun's train of thought and subconsciously retorted the question.

Regardless of race, women love beauty.

"I am an Elf Princess! Although I can't compare to my sisters, I am among the most beautiful of the elves."

"Then I'm relieved." Renia patted her slightly undulating chest: "I don't help those who aren't beautiful girls."

"?"

Blind, yet so concerned about looks? Elarind was speechless.

As a princess, she indeed had a more outstanding appearance than ordinary elves.

Elarind was petite like a fragile porcelain doll, her emerald green hair stained with the dust of a long journey, no longer as bright as it once was.

Her features were as delicate as if they had been carefully outlined by a paintbrush, her eyes as clear and bright as sapphires, and her small nose was straight and delicate.

The gorgeous dress on her body was tattered, revealing her tender, soft arms and calves, and her snow-white skin was also covered with a lot of dirt, concealing her proper cleanliness.

"Then why are you so small? Like a child, can you really drink wine?"

"Because my magic power is exhausted, I can only maintain this state. I used to be very tall!"

"Understood, understood."

From the other party's reply, Renia could roughly guess based on her imagination that elves could have multiple forms.

When magic power is insufficient, they will use a smaller form to reduce magic consumption.

Wouldn't that mean that elves can satisfy everyone's XP for different age forms at once? Renia had a strange thought.

"Is there anything else you want to ask?" Elarind held the wine bottle in both hands, taking small sips.

Because the alcohol concentration was too high, she couldn't help but furrow her features, and looked at Renia, who was drinking without changing her expression, and felt a trace of admiration.

Immediately, her gaze went down and she saw the seductive fabric, her face instantly flushed, and she repeatedly averted her gaze.

Her sitting posture is too bad!

"There actually is." Renia's expression became serious, and she leaned her face over slightly:

"How big are your... there in your normal form?"

Praying that this damned nun would have normal questions, Elarind truly felt that she had been made stupid by the evil dragon.

"I was originally from the Elf Race of the Northern Continent..." Elarind did not give a direct answer, but instead began to tell her about her situation.

"Elves are also divided into many tribes. I originally lived around the World Tree. Suddenly one day, the Queen Mother asked me to go to the Sirila tribe to see the situation.

It is said that many elves there had been poisoned and lost contact, so I went to investigate on the orders of the Queen Mother, and by the way, solve the matter as a princess.

I didn't expect that the elves of that tribe had already been controlled by demons. I accidentally fell into their trap, and desperately escaped, and most of my magic power was wiped out by the demons at that time."

"Mm." Renia hummed softly to show her response.

Her mind was filled with various questions. What is the Northern Continent? What is the World Tree? What kind of demons are they? What was the situation back then?

Due to insufficient information upon her arrival, Renia had many questions hidden in her heart, quietly listening to Elarind's story, choosing not to interrupt her story, acting as a qualified listener.

From leaving the tribe and being plotted against by demons, to drifting to other continents and struggling to survive, during which she encountered humans who wanted to arrest her and turn her into a slave, almost being drowned in the sea by the Sea Race, and encountering an evil dragon who was entangled with Slaanesh and attempted to control her.

The more she spoke, the more angry she became, the more she spoke, the more excited she became. Elarind completely forgot her first meeting with Renia, as if she was confiding in a close friend of many years.

While speaking, she kept drinking wine, taking the few snacks and eating them fiercely, as if she was taking the snacks as revenge on that group of bad guys.

"The, the last, last thing, I flew to this church." Elarind hiccuped, her face full of alcoholic flush:

"Then, then I met you, the stostory is over."

As if telling the story with a tired spirit, Elarind plopped down on the podium and fell asleep after saying the last sentence.

"Yes."

Renia listened calmly from beginning to end, occasionally humming in response, even if what the other party said was incomplete, leaving her confused, unable to connect the cause and effect.

But Renia was still very satisfied with Elarind's story.

The Elf Princess was tragically attacked by demons, encountered hardships along the way, and was chased by a Slaanesh evil dragon to Shiguan Town, where she met her.

Although it could be summarized in a few short sentences, the story was so rich that even with the omissions, Elarind still spoke for seven or eight hours.

The newly purchased wheat wine had all disappeared, all of it taken by Elarind to moisten her throat.

Renia used her senses to look at the girl with a steady breath, lying on the podium, and placed the last box of pudding in her hand on the podium, gently picking her up.

Her senses were not omnipotent, but the only thing she could trust was her own senses. In the humanoid outline of Elarind in her senses, there was a pure white light cluster, symbolizing unparalleled sincerity.

She didn't have overflowing sympathy, but she wasn't a harsh and ruthless existence either.

In a different world where strength was respected, Renia didn't need to worry about being hit by the "Universal Harmony" fist.

Nor did she have to consider the verbal slander of "If you didn't hit her, why are you helping her up?"

Without slander and fraud, Renia was still very willing to lend a helping hand to a beautiful girl.

The Elf girl's soft body responded, and Renia felt the other party's size.

She judged that her height was around 165, so Elarind's current form should be... around 145?

16 years old, still a child.

The older, single Renia thought so, she reached out and took off the girl's coat, and carried the girl back to the only bed she slept on.

She fetched a bucket of warm water heated by a magic tool, and wiped Elarind's fair body with a clean towel.

Because her eyes were invisible, no romantic situation existed.

Visual rape? That also required being able to see to do it. Elarind's existence was just a concrete outline.

Her skin didn't feel as good as her own, and coupled with the other party's unconscious state, Renia had no intention of teasing her to gain pleasure from it.

She stroked the girl inch by inch, wiping away the blood and dirt from her body, and then wiping off the dirt from her hair, so as not to dirty her bed.

Smelling the bloody smell emanating from the other party, Renia pondered for a moment, got up and rummaged through the medical supplies in the room, and decided to simply treat the girl's wounds... Above the Nine Heavens.

A mature woman wearing black gauze, revealing a large area of skin, lying enchantingly on a star bed, held a small box of pudding in her hand.

With each bite, she narrowed her eyes and enjoyed the sweetness and texture of the pudding.

"goddess of stars! I've come to play with you!"

A beautiful goddess wearing luxurious green clothes suddenly pushed open the door and shouted loudly at the goddess of stars on the bed.

"Life Sister is here? What, you wandered around the other sisters' territories and didn't find anything fun, so you came to me?" The goddess of stars looked over and teased.

"No way."

The goddess of life twisted a little, her eyes attracted by the dessert in the other party's hand:

"goddess of stars, what is the food in your hand?"

"This?" The goddess of stars shook the pudding and replied: "A sacrifice given by a believer."

"Eh~ Can I taste it?" The goddess of life stared greedily at the pudding.

"No, ask your believers to give it to you."

"Ugh..."

The goddess of life puffed out her cheeks, she began to think about how to trick her believers into sending her snacks similar to those in the goddess of stars' hand, without affecting her majesty as a goddess.

"goddess of stars, then what are you doing?"

The goddess of life pondered for a moment, chose not to think about it anymore, and pounced to the side of the goddess of stars, asking curiously.

"Looking at the situation in the lower realm." The goddess of stars responded, and couldn't help but narrow her eyes as she thought of an interesting scene:

"I've discovered a believer who is very suitable to become my Spokesperson."

"Really, really? Since the last Spokesperson fell, my Spokesperson still hasn't been found. goddess of stars, what about that believer attracts you?" The goddess of life asked curiously.

Interesting?

Her strength is not low?

No, these are the most basic requirements.

The goddess of stars swallowed the last small piece of pudding and said uncertainly: "Because she doesn't sleep at night?"

"Eh?"

The goddess of stars is a goddess who doesn't sleep at night and sleeps during the day. Could it be that a goddess who wants to control the stars would sleep soundly at night?

If Spokesperson doesn't sleep, she can just take advantage of "work" time to fish and watch Spokesperson.

The reason for paying attention to Spokesperson is very justified, and other gods can't criticize her.

In her previous life, as an insomniac, Renia mainly had an underworld routine, which was very much to the goddess of stars' liking... "Huff..."

Renia breathed a sigh of relief, reached out and wiped the dense sweat from her forehead.

She had treated all of Elarind's large and small wounds.

She looked up at the window, got up and slowly opened the window, and could feel a breath belonging to the early morning.

It was dawn.

It was already dawn after she finished.

Renia closed the window again, tiptoed out of the room, and gently closed the door, avoiding waking the sleeping girl.

"I can't go to work today." Renia murmured to herself in a low voice:

"Eat the last pudding, brush my teeth, take a shower, and sleep~"

With this thought in mind, Renia came to the podium, but couldn't sense the pudding on the podium table, and couldn't find it no matter how much she touched it.

This made her begin to doubt her memory, but her memory told her that there was clearly still one box left.

"Where's my pudding!"

Renia's expression instantly drooped, and she suddenly became miserable.

Not only was the pudding gone, but she also had to clean up the mess left over from drinking.

Looking at Renia's "painful" appearance, the goddess of stars statue shook extremely slightly again.

This time, it seemed to be snickering.
