Yukiri's perspective (In the music room):
I decided to join some clubs and the band since I need to keep my grades up. I already know the basics of this year's curriculum due to being homeschooled, and I don't want to lose my A streak. In the end, I joined the literature club, the mathematics debate team, and... the band.
Right now, I'm sitting in the club room. There's this guy here, I think his name was Kiso-something; there was definitely another syllable after that. He seems to be the keyboardist, judging by the way he's tapping on his thighs. We are waiting for the other members to arrive, especially Lorelei, since she's the one who keeps the band together.
It's nice to have someone quiet around in this damned school.
Apparently, the last guitarist changed schools. Hm, should I call that luck on my side?
Oh... Lorelei is finally here.
Third-person perspective:
Lorelei held her phone out to both of them. "We should make a TikTok account! Look, people are getting famous like this! Plus, I have a cool band name and stage names picked out!"
Before Lorelei could continue, a guy with neon blue hair walked in and cut her off. "Yeah, the band name is void.exe, and the member names are based on things like star, sun, ash, flame whatever Lorelei approves of. For example, mine is moon.exe, and Lorelei's is ember.exe, or whatever it was."
Kisota spoke up, "I'm taking ash.exe. And who is the new member?"
Lorelei suddenly remembered Yukiri was standing there. "Oh, she's the new guitarist! Kiori told me she plays. Apparently, no one else plays guitar in this hell of a big campus, or doesn't want to join us. Yukiri, this is Kisota, and the neon sign over there is Marcus. So, any name ideas?"
Yukiri tried to hold back a smile at the introduction of Marcus. "Uh... no name ideas. And are there any other members?"
Lorelei sighed, already dreading the mention of the rest of the members. "We've got Zane, the white haired dude, as the drummer. And Solene. she's super loud, she's the bassist. And then there's you, thankfully less problematic, like Kisota here."
Marcus scoffed, crossing his arms. "Solene isn't just loud, she's a walking head ache. If we give her a stage name, it should be annoying.exe or something."
"Don't ruin the theme, Marcus!" Lorelei snapped back, though she looked entirely defeated by her own band's dynamics. She turned her eyes back to Yukiri, practically begging for a normal response. "Since Soliene already sounds kind of cosmic, I was thinking of giving her something bright. But we still need something for Zane, and definitely something for you, Yukiri. We need to set up the profile before our first rehearsal!"
Yukiri looked over at Kisota, who was already staring blankly at his phone, completely checked out now that his own name was secured.
"If Solene is that loud," Yukiri said dryly, sitting down "maybe you should choose something explosive... uh something like spark.exe or flare.exe?"
Then suddenly a girl with brown hair tackled Lorelei into a hug "Hey Lori! Ou~ new girl! So whats your name bluey? You look like Kiori, her sister maybe?" Solene steps closer to her, completely ignoring Lorelei who is on the ground. She takes her hand examining it "You sure you can play guitar? barre chords and everything?"
Solene's perspective:
Hmph... new girl huh... She looks strikingly like Kiori. But more quiet? whatever. Seems like she can play guitar at least.
