As a pirate, he had been defeated seven times, challenged the Marines and the Four Emperors alone, captured eighteen times, tortured over a thousand times, and sentenced to death forty times. Yet, his top-tier physique made him nearly indestructible. Hanged, he would break the chains. Placed on a guillotine, he would shatter the blade. Spear thrusts would break before his body would.
Thus, no one had ever managed to kill him. Even Kaido himself, after countless failed attempts at suicide, had survived. In the pirate world, there was a saying: "For a one-on-one fight, Kaido is the strongest. The strongest creature among all living beings on land, sea, and air is Kaido!"
Seeing Rolan and his crew brimming with fighting spirit, Kaido's battle instincts flared.
"His body is unusual. To truly hurt him, you must attack from the inside," Zoro reminded the group. He remembered Rolan had mentioned that Four Emperors like Kaido and Charlotte Linlin possessed extreme defensive capabilities. Ordinary attacks coated with Armament Haki couldn't harm them. To break through, one either needed unique abilities that struck internally or mastered advanced Armament Haki—Ryuo.
Franky grinned. "Hahaha, I've got an idea."
He boosted himself with his leg jets and appeared before Kaido in an instant.
"Electromagnetic Oscillation!"
Placing his palm on Kaido's chest, a high-frequency electromagnetic wave surged internally, directly assaulting his organs. Kaido trembled violently and knelt to the ground.
"What?! What did Franky just do?" Lina gasped. She had never seen Franky unleash such an attack.
The move, inspired by Rolan's Electromagnetic Fruit, harnessed technology to channel internal waves. If the target lacked extreme defensive strength, the attack could scorch their organs.
Kaido swung his fist and sent Franky flying.
"Franky!" Zoro yelled, alarmed. Observing closely with his Observation Haki, he realized Franky was only shaken, not gravely injured.
Kaido coughed, blood trickling from his mouth. "Cough… cough…" The injury was significant, yet he slowly rose to his full height.
Law knew Kaido could not be given a moment of respite. He picked up a stone and flicked it toward Kaido.
"ROOM!" Law swapped places with the stone and appeared before Kaido.
"Gamma Knife!"
Green energy converged into a short knife in Law's hand. He plunged it into Kaido's chest, sending gamma rays cascading through his body, wreaking internal havoc.
Kaido knelt again, pain flashing across his massive features. "Damn it! Do you all want to die so badly?"
Raising his club, he swung it at Law, who immediately teleported behind him. Kaido anticipated the move, redirecting the club and sending Law flying once more.
At that moment, Zoro struck.
"Onigiri!"
Purple-black Haki enveloped him, flecked with golden sparks. For a moment, a spectral Shura appeared behind Zoro, and his three swords spun in a deadly blur.
"Nine-Sword Style: Asura: Drawing Swords!"
Zoro's assault struck Kaido's chest, creating multiple deep wounds and sending blood spraying wildly. Kaido remained standing, stunned.
Zoro knelt weakly, Wado Ichimonji slipping from his mouth. Law and Franky had already attacked internally, yet Kaido still remained.
Lina and Nami exchanged determined glances.
"Flame Whip!" Lina's fiery arm struck.
"White Snake Binding!" Nami unleashed swirling clouds of energy.
The intertwined attack struck Kaido, who finally fell slowly to the ground under the force.
Before they could celebrate, Kaido transformed into his Human-Beast form, gripping his club with both hands. Red and black lightning crackled around it.
"Roaring Thunder Bagua!"
The club slammed toward Lina and Nami, sending both flying with a deafening crash.
Hancock's eyes widened. "Nani?!" She had not anticipated such speed and strength from Kaido.
"Damn it! How dare you harm my sisters!" Hancock shouted, launching herself at Kaido. She leapt, her right leg glowing with Haki.
"Perfume Femur!"
Her Haki-clad high heel slammed into Kaido's chest, staggering him back ten steps and forcing blood from his mouth.
"Such a hard body!" Hancock muttered, struck by his resilience.
Kaido steadied himself, clutching his chest. "Boa Hancock, you still have some strength, but it's not enough to defeat me!"
He leapt into the air, spinning his club, wrapping it in Conqueror's Haki.
"Descent of the Twin Dragons: Dragon Twister Bagua!"
Just as his attack descended, a voice rang out.
"You dare lay a hand on my comrades and my wife. Have you considered how you want to die, Kaido?!"
Kaido stumbled back, repelled. A smirk played across his lips as he saw the figure holding Hancock.
"You finally came, Rolan!"
