We live in a world where money, fame, power, and status matter more than life. Every one of us is in a constant competition against each other and sometimes against ourselves. Healthy competition is good, but what's worse is that it is now becoming unhealthy.
We are constantly fighting. Either morally or professionally. We are struggling. From what? Each other? Not at all. We are right now trapped in a bubble that looks absolutely pretty from the outside, but from the inside, it is worse.
But what seems wrong in struggling or working for oneself? Those who struggle for their family's well-being aren't bad. Not only is also a woman who is working all by herself to be free from the judgmental society. Every other person we see is actually trying to sustain, fulfil, and emerge oneself as a successful and powerful personality. Are they wrong?
No, they aren't wrong in working to provide for their own family. They are wrong in wronging the people below the social line. We live in a world where people are divided by their money, status, position, and worth. A person not having them is considered lowly. And ends up being a pawn.
But who cares? Who cares if one person loses? I need to care for myself. I need to make sure I win and fulfil my desires. The loss of a common man or a poor person doesn't bother me, or either play a role in my journey.
This is the mentality of the present world. This is what the world cares about. This is what we are taught nowadays. As if morality never existed. Morality is now nowhere to be seen.
It was once abundantly prevalent, but it is now our own greed that has made us stoop so low. Made us so selfish, so competitive. We are now destroying the unity and peace that seemed never to exist. They are dead.
Now the question is?
"Is there even a place where moral corruption isn't seen?"
