Gu Xing addressed Zhengjin and Yuen urgently:
"I don't know if I can trust you, but you're all I have left. You must prevent BAI-X from awakening its demon form!"
"What?!" Zhengjin exclaimed.
"You won't!" Yuen protested.
"Only this way," Gu Xing said, turning into a glowing orb and flying toward Yuen.
"Reddy! GO!"
Yuen kicked the orb into the monster. The collision of powers caused a massive explosion, sending riders and monsters flying.
Zhengyi rose, furious. "Gu Xing!"
Yuen stopped him. "Don't act rashly!"
The monster returned to its base at the Ancient Monument.
"Damn! Gu Xing sacrificed himself!" the villain laughed.
Elsewhere, Zhengyi, Yuen, and Zhengjin regrouped.
Behind a wall, a black shadow observed.
"Seems this is the story of HuRider," said a mysterious man, holding out a card.
"I am the guardian of every timeline," he explained. "I can be your past or your future."
Zhengyi took the card. "Oh… I remembered my mission to protect the world. Thank you!"
He dashed out.
At the battleground, Yuen and Zhengjin fought monsters.
Zhengyi arrived, shouting: "Stop!"
He activated his driver:
"BAI-X! FLAME EAGLE!"
"I will protect the world!"
Slash! Energy waves clashed.
The smoke cleared.
"BAI-X! DEMON!"
"What?!" Yuen gasped.
"What?!" Zhengjin yelled.
"Where did you gain that power?" the monster asked.
"You don't need to know!" Zhengyi swung his sword.
"Even if a loser, I'll fight as a loser who tried!"
Applause echoed.
The guardian of time appeared:
"TIMER DRIVER!"
"Transform!"
"TIME RIDER! TIMER!"
The two combined forces with BAI-X, striking the monster.
The villain vanished, laughing. "Good, just like old times. BAI-X, continue your fight!"
