Chapter 18 - DARK OBSESSION NATHAN

Cendric Nathan, twenty-seven, sits alone in a dim penthouse. His tailored suit and perfect image do nothing to mask the storm raging inside him. Once, he had been the chosen omega of the Lucas family, betrothed to Lucas himself, a carefully orchestrated and highly praised family arrangement. No one dared to oppose him or the arrangement.

Until Lucas chose Erven.

Nathan's gaze sharpened, his fingers gripping the crystal glass in his hand. His blue eyes, usually calm and proud, now flashed with a burning obsession.

Nathan (thinking): How dare he? How dare he choose that omega over me? Over me! I should be Lucas's mate, mine! And now that fragile omega thinks he can steal what should be mine!

He slams the glass down on the table. The sound echoes in the quiet penthouse. Pride and anger clash, a dangerous mix that demands action. He has been humiliated in front of his family, his engagement called off because Lucas has "imprinted" another. Shame, anger, jealousy all fuel the dark thoughts swirling in his mind.

Nathan (snorting, cold and firm): "If he thinks he can have her, he's wrong. I'll take what's mine, even if I have to destroy it to get it."

Nathan has no illusions about morality. Erven's vulnerability, the way Lucas chose him as an omega with quiet strength, a destined mate through imprinting, are temptations he can't resist. He picks up his phone and dials the number he's saved for emergencies: a professional who handles "sensitive matters."

Nathan (firm, commanding voice): "I want her. Seo Erven. You know who I mean. Take her. Scare her. Destroy her if necessary. Do whatever it takes… and make her afraid of Lucas."

A moment of silence, then confirmation. Nathan smiles, his smile cruel and predatory. His plan is afoot.

Late that night, Erven returned from a quiet walk with Paul. He felt the tension since the family gathering, the unease that had lingered after Nathan's cold gaze. Every shadow seemed threatening, every step echoed with the threat of danger.

Arriving at his car, two large figures emerged from the darkness. Before he could react, a rough cloth was pressed against his mouth. Panic attacked, sharp and difficult to breathe.

Erven (holding back, panicked): "Ah! Who, let me go!"

A strong hand gripped him, holding him back as he resisted. He kicked and pushed, but the grip did not waver.

Nathan's voice came from the shadows, calm and creepy.

Nathan: "Seo Erven, my little rival. You have something I want. And tonight I will take it."

Erven froze, recognizing the voice immediately. Fear paralyzed his legs.

Erven: "Nathan? Why? Why did you do all this? Please, I belong to Lucas!"

Nathan circled him like a predator, his steps orderly and cautious.

Nathan: "You said you belonged to Lucas? Fate? Ha! Now you belong to me. I will teach you to be afraid, little omega. I will make you understand who truly controls your life."

A hard blow to the side of Erven's face made him stagger. Pain spread across his cheeks, tears burned his eyes. Another blow, this time to the ribs, and he collapsed to the cold floor.

Erven (gasping, shivering): "No help I can't I won't…"

Nathan knelt down slightly, face close to Erven's, eyes shining with obsession.

Nathan: "You will leave him, You will suffer. And I will make sure you will never think of Lucas the same way again. You will obey me! or you will regret it!"

Erven's knees trembled under the blows and psychological torture. He could barely stand, could barely think, but his heart remained loyal. He remembered Lucas, Paul, Brock, and the promise of protection.

Erven (weakly): "I, I belong to Lucas I will not obey you!)

Nathan's expression changed to angry and satisfied.

Nathan: "We'll see later. You will learn fear, pain, humiliation. And then maybe, only then will you understand why I should be yours all the time."

The people who helped Nathan forced Erven into the dark van. Every blow, every push, was designed to confuse and break his spirit. Hands tied, body bruised, and fear still fresh. Nathan's control enveloped the air, silencing and intoxicating.

Nathan (whispering in Erven's ear): "Once you're alone, locked up, you'll understand your place. Your little omega smell, intoxicating, but it's also your weakness. You will learn to obey me. And Lucas he won't be able to save you in time."

Hours later, Erven found himself in a cold, dim warehouse. The walls were bare, the air dusty. Nathan had arranged everything—chains, locks, empty spaces for isolation. Erven shivered, sitting on the concrete floor, bruises throbbing, thoughts racing.

Erven (thinking, panicking): Lucas, Paul, Brock anyone .. anyone.

Nathan stood at the edge of the shadows, silent, watching the fear he had created. The omega's instincts, his pride, his obsession with control all combined into a dangerous, suffocating aura.

Nathan (low, cruel): "You are mine. Every tremor, every tear is mine. You will beg me to stop, little omega and then .. maybe, I will decide your fate. But for now… you stay here. You are sick. Do you understand?"

Erven could barely nod, his body shivering violently. Pain, fear, and humiliation nearly consumed him, but a small spark of resistance still remained. He remembered Lucas, and that bond that was destined, unwavering, and valiantly protected by Lucas and his brother would be Nathan's greatest challenge.
