Chapter 131 - Chapter 131: Forgetting the Original Intention, Three Titled Douluos

"Hmm?"

Under Bi Bi Dong's gaze, Qian Renxue tiptoed her way into the courtyard of Wisteria Residence.

Her golden hair and violet eyes stood out against her snow-white skin, fairer than snow itself.

Just as she squeezed halfway through the doorway, Qian Renxue spotted Bi Bi Dong standing directly across the courtyard, facing her.

Surprise instantly flashed in her eyes.

"M-Mother?"

As the words left her mouth, Qian Renxue's stealthy movements froze, leaving her in an awkward position.

She couldn't decide whether to move forward or retreat, remaining balanced on the tip of her left foot with her body tilted as she stared at Bi Bi Dong.

"..."

Bi Bi Dong watched her silently, her furrowed brows gradually smoothing out.

Though she didn't know why her daughter had come so early today, she happened to have use for her.

Bi Bi Dong moved forward with graceful steps.

As she approached, a hint of timidity grew in Qian Renxue's eyes, yet she made no move to escape.

Only when Bi Bi Dong reached out and pulled open the wooden door that had been trapping her did Qian Renxue react.

"Ah!"

Qian Renxue gasped softly and quickly straightened up.

As a Soul Venerable and a young woman, she was already taller than Ye Tian at this point, standing above Bi Bi Dong's shoulders.

Her eyes watched Bi Bi Dong uneasily, uncertain what to say.

She seemed to have unconsciously forgotten her original intention...

Today, she had specifically come to Wisteria Residence early while Yue'er was still asleep - not for Bi Bi Dong, but to find Ye Tian and enjoy some time alone with him.

At this thought, Qian Renxue felt both shy and ashamed.

Meanwhile, Bi Bi Dong had already raised her hand and touched her cheek.

"!!!"

Qian Renxue stiffened completely.

A sense of dread rose in her heart, followed by habitual vigilance and wariness as her entire body tensed.

But the expected scolding never came.

Bi Bi Dong's jade-like fingers merely applied slight pressure, her eyes flashing with fleeting affection before it vanished.

Then she did something she had long wanted to do - she pinched Qian Renxue's cheek.

Her crimson lips parted slightly.

"Average."

"??!"

Hearing Bi Bi Dong's evaluation and feeling the slight sting on her cheek, Qian Renxue's guard completely dropped.

She stood frozen in place, not even noticing when Bi Bi Dong left, only absently touching her cheek.

——

In a desolate wilderness.

Tang Hao pulled A Yin along as they fled continuously, his eyes filled with exhaustion and hatred.

A Yin's pretty face was deathly pale.

Despite her depleted energy, she still used her gentle Soul Power to protect the child in her arms.

Whenever she glanced at the constantly crying infant, a strained smile would appear on her lips.

They had just escaped from the encirclement of Spirit Hall's Soul Masters.

The sound of rushing wind continued behind them.

Tang Hao frequently looked back, his eyes fierce as he watched their pursuers drawing closer.

Gathering all his strength, he charged forward with large strides.

"A Yin, we need to move faster! Once we shake them off, we'll be fine! Just hold on a little longer - the sect won't just stand by and do nothing!"

"Alright."

A Yin responded softly, her breathing already ragged, yet she stubbornly kept moving, following closely behind Tang Hao.

Before long.

Through their combined efforts, they finally managed to shake off their pursuers again, escaping into a valley filled with scattered rocks.

Before Tang Hao could catch his breath.

Ghostly shadows, mist-like and illusory, came clawing toward them.

"Who's there?!"

Tang Hao roared angrily.

Whoosh—!

One after another, two pitch-black ghost claws, heavy with the aura of death, shot toward Tang Hao and A Yin.

"Damn it!"

Gritting his teeth, Tang Hao shielded A Yin behind him.

Swinging his hammer with overwhelming force, he shattered both ghost claws instantly.

Whoosh!

Tang Hao's gaze snapped upward, his pupils contracting as he snarled with hatred, "No Spirit Rings in sight, only ghostly shadows—what a fine Titled Douluo you are!"

Ghost Douluo stood above, treading upon nine gleaming Spirit Rings, looking down upon Tang Hao and his family of three.

He showed no reaction to Tang Hao's words, which sounded both like flattery and mockery.

He only said calmly:

"Tang Hao, there's no use in talking. Surrender now and avoid getting hurt."

As his voice faded,

the Spirit Rings beneath Ghost Douluo's feet flashed.

A streak of dark light descended, ghostly shadows spreading rapidly as they launched their assault.

"Don't even think about it!"

Tang Hao roared in fury.

Boom!

His Clear Sky Hammer struck the ground, and with the earth's violent rupture, the ghostly shadows were instantly obliterated.

Using the recoil, Tang Hao shot toward Ghost Douluo.

"Hao!"

Amid A Yin's startled cry,

the Clear Sky Hammer swung with immense force, tearing through layers of black mist—yet it couldn't reach Ghost Douluo's true form. In the blink of an eye, they exchanged several blows.

Ghost Douluo's shadowy form vanished from the spot as if teleporting,

leaving behind a vortex teeming with wraiths.

Dozens of dark ghostly hands reached out, tightly entangling Tang Hao's arms.

At the same time,

another ghost claw shot toward A Yin.

"No—!"

Tang Hao's eyes nearly burst, a bloody aura erupting from his body.

"Get away from me—!"

In his rage,

Tang Hao broke free from his restraints in an instant, his great hammer radiating a brilliant golden light.

It swelled against the wind as he swung with all his might, roaring:

"Heavenly Strike!"

Boom—!

The ghostly hands disintegrated.

A blinding flash obscured their vision, but the attack did not land.

Boom!

In that instant,

massive boulders tumbled down from both sides of the canyon, swirling dust filling the air.

Even Ghost Douluo was buried beneath the debris.

"A Yin, let's go!"

Ignoring the injuries on his arms, Tang Hao grabbed A Yin's hand and prepared to flee.

But as he turned—

a soft, sinister voice sounded by his ear.

"Go? And where would you go?"

Before the words faded,

a golden blade swept toward Tang Hao's eyes.

Thump!

Tang Hao halted just in time.

The blade sliced into the ground, leaving a trail of blood across the bridge of his nose.

"Chrysanthemum of Marvelous Velvet and Celestial Connection... Another Titled Douluo!"

A Yin looked up, her lips trembling slightly, her eyes filled with helplessness.

Before Tang Hao could raise his head,

a sharp, high-pitched voice echoed throughout the canyon.

"Withered chrysanthemums, wounds strewn across the land, blossoms fall as hearts break—Ninth Soul Skill!"

Chrysanthemum Douluo stood upon a chrysanthemum,

his movements graceful and alluring.

Countless flower petals transformed into sharp blades, pouring down like rain,

swiftly sweeping toward Tang Hao and his family.

"Damn it!"

Tang Hao cursed under his breath.

If they didn't escape now, the other Soul Masters would soon catch up.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The sound of metal clashing rang out continuously.

Tang Hao held his Clear Sky Hammer before him, spinning it rapidly,

blocking every incoming petal.

"Hmph!"

Chrysanthemum Douluo let out a delicate snort.

His elegant dance suddenly shifted, and the dense swarm of Chrysanthemum of Marvelous Velvet and Celestial Connection petals split apart, forming multiple streams.

They attacked Tang Hao from all directions.

A Yin and her child were caught in the assault as well.

"Despicable!"

"Clear Sky Aegis!"

Tang Hao planted the Clear Sky Hammer firmly on the ground, spinning it at high speed. Even as petals assailed them from every angle, every one was deflected.

"Titled Douluo... is that all you've got?"

After holding out for several breaths, Tang Hao sneered, his grip on the Clear Sky Hammer suddenly shifting.

He slammed heavily toward the ground.

Boom—!

Countless petals were sent flying backward in all directions, scattering in disarray.

Taking advantage of the dust and chaos, Tang Hao dared not linger.

Once again, he pulled A Yin along.

Although Tang Hao had already reached the ninetieth level and possessed a full set of ten-thousand-year soul bones,

the successive battles had left him exhausted.

"A Yin, I promise! I will definitely lead you and our child out of this canyon!"

Holding his wife and child, Tang Hao did not forget to offer them reassurance.

But as his words fell,

the originally cold and clear sky suddenly turned fervent!

Golden feathers drifted down one after another.

Witnessing this, Tang Hao's pupils trembled violently, and he momentarily lost his composure.

He understood what this meant!

The Qian Family of the Spirit Hall, possessors of a divine-level Martial Soul, had personally arrived!

Three—a full three Titled Douluo experts!

Blinding light tore through the air.

A golden sun hung over the canyon, casting golden radiance across the mountains and valleys.

The warmth of the sacred flames sent a chill through Tang Hao's heart.

Qian Xunji had appeared at some unknown moment,

standing in the air.

With his hands behind his back, the Martial Soul True Form of the Six-Winged Angel loomed behind him.

"Your subordinates pay respects to Your Majesty!"

The Chrysanthemum and Ghost Titled Douluo stood on either side above Tang Hao,

bowing toward Qian Xunji in the sky.
