Rowan saw Owen rushing closer with an agitated look, frowning and gesturing for him to move to the side: "Stay away, don't come over here, the water is dirty because I'm washing clothes."
The large snake slammed on the brakes, stopping abruptly in front of him, its red tongue flickering in and out continuously, hesitating to advance.
Right now, he didn't see whether the water was dirty or clean; his reason was gradually being overwhelmed by instinct. His mind was filled with wicked, frenzied thoughts of rushing forward to wrap tightly around Rowan and rub against him.
But he didn't dare destroy the relationship that had just eased up a little. He knew Rowan didn't like being forced like that; Rowan would get angry.
Thinking it over and struggling internally for a while, he let out a low roar, then turned his head and ran desperately into the nearby forest to release his excess energy.
"Bang! Bang! Crack!"
