Mu Ling gasped. The clan only gave out one First Grade pill a month. A bottle of Second Grade pills was worth a city block!
Tian Wudi tossed the bottle in his hand.
"Be my maid," he said casually. "Warm my bed. Pour my wine. And I will give you resources that Gu Bo can only dream of. I will cure your pain. I will make you a Cultivator of the Spirit Realm and if you have fate then even the Eternal Realm."
Forget about the Eternal Realm, Mu Ling hasn't even heard of the Spirit Realm. She bit her lip. Her heart racing. The temptation was immense. Cultivation was everything in this world. But... he was a pig!
"You are insane," she said, but her voice lacked conviction. She didn't say 'no' instantly.
Tian Wudi laughed. He knew he had planted the seed. Women in this cultivation world were pragmatic. They worshipped strength. Once he proved he could make her strong, she would climb into his bed willingly.
"Think about it," he stuffed the pills back into his pocket. "The offer expires when I find someone prettier or maturer. Perhaps that little servant girl Yao has hidden potential."
He stepped back, releasing her from the wall.
"Now, if you will excuse me, I need to find a blank book."
He walked over to the librarian's desk, grabbed a blank notebook and a brush.
"None of your clan's garbage techniques are worthy of my royal body," Tian Wudi announced loudly, ensuring everyone heard. "So, I will write my own."
He started writing furiously on the first page.
[ The Supreme Swine Sovereign Scripture ]
This was not a technique from his past life. This was a new creation. He combined the 'Devouring Heaven Method' of the demons (which he studied before killing them) with the 'Golden Buddha Body' of the monks (which he studied before slapping them).
Concept? Eat. Convert matter to energy. Refine flesh.
In the lower realms, people cultivate by absorbing Qi from air. Too slow.
Tian Wudi decided to cultivate by eating Matter directly.
Spirit Stones? Crunch them and eat them.
Swords? If they have spirit metal, eat them.
Pills? Eat the bottle too.
This method suited his Spirit Pig physique perfectly and his new style of his new life.
"Done," he closed the book after scribbling the first layer.
He turned around to leave. Mu Ling was still watching him, her eyes complicated.
"Beauty!" Tian Wudi winked at her again. "Wear red tomorrow. And I leave my window unlocked. You might sleepwalk in…I would not mind!"
He laughed, "Hahaha!" and swaggered out of the library.
As he walked into the evening light, his thoughts turned darker.
"Now I have the method. I have the initial resources. But to reach the Foundation Establishment Realm quickly, I need a massive amount of Yang energy."
He looked at the direction of the Clan Leader's Main Mansion. The current acting Leader was Gu Hai's older brother. A fierce man. But rumor had it he had a very young, very lonely wife who cultivated the 'Yin Lotus Technique'.
Tian Wudi's tongue swirled around his tusk.
"Yin and Yang must be in harmony," he deduced philosophically. "It is my duty as a Sovereign to ensure the balance of the Clan. I must help the Clan Leader's wife... tonight."
He disappeared into the shadows, a fat, scheming pig with the soul of a degenerate god.
The moon was high in the night sky, casting a silver light over the large Gu Clan estate, but the peace of the night broke because hundreds of torches burned brightly below.
"Find him! Find that damned pig!"
A furious roar echoed through the courtyards.
The source of the roar was Gu Yan, the Acting Clan Leader.
He stood on the steps of the Main Hall. He was a tall man with thin lips and eyes like a vulture. He wore a magnificent green-gold robe, but his face was twisted in ugly rage because today was a humiliation for him.
His son, Gu Bo, had broken ribs. His brother, Elder Gu Hai, had a crushed chest and was currently in a coma. And the culprit was that pig.
"That pig again? That cursed pig again?" Gu Yan muttered while gritting his teeth.
"A thousand Spirit Stones!" Gu Yan screamed at the trembling guards. "I will give a thousand Spirit Stones to anyone who brings me his head! If you bring him alive, I will give five hundred more so that I can skin that pig myself!"
The guards were terrified, so they scrambled away. They poked their spears into bushes. They checked the kitchens. They even checked the latrines.
"Where did he go?"
"He is fat! How can a fat pig vanish?"
"Maybe he is a demon..."
Gu Yan watched them run like headless chickens, and he spat on the ground.
"Useless trash. I feed you rice, and you cannot catch a piece of bacon."
He waved his sleeve angrily. "Keep searching! Dig three feet into the ground if you must!"
Having given his orders, Gu Yan turned around. He needed to vent his anger. And there was only one way a man like him knew how to vent.
He walked toward the deeper part of the estate.
He arrived at the "Peach Blossom Pavilion." This was his private forbidden area. The walls were reinforced with iron, and the windows were sealed with arrays. No guards were allowed here because Gu Yan was a paranoid man who kept his greatest treasures hidden.
He placed his hand on the door. The formation array glowed green, recognizing his Qi, so the heavy stone door slid open slowly.
Gu Yan stepped inside and closed the door behind him.
The room was filled with pink mist. The scent of aphrodisiac incense was heavy in the air. The floor was covered in soft red fur rugs imported from the Northern Plains.
In the center of the room lay a massive bed made of Warm Jade.
On the bed, a woman was twisting and turning.
"Leader... husband... you are finally here..."
