Jasmine's POV
"We're going to see Uncle Luis and Uncle Stephen!" Jeffrey shouted, his small fists pumping triumphantly in the air.
"Don't forget Aunt Lina!" Naia chirped, practically bouncing off the mattress with excitement. "I've missed her so much."
"Same here," Jeffrey chimed in eagerly.
"She wasn't at our school celebration," Naia's face fell into a disappointed frown.
"I understand, sweetheart," Nanny Yasmin soothed, gathering Naia's hair into a neat ponytail. The sight of her gentle care made my heart warm.
I lingered in the doorway, dressed in my crisp white blouse and comfortable jeans, watching this tender morning routine unfold. Yesterday's baking adventure with the children still filled my thoughts. Between their giggles and flour-covered fingers, I had promised them this special outing to visit their beloved Uncle Stephen, Uncle Luis, and Aunt Lina.
