The wind whispered through the endless meadow as we stood surrounded by tall grass, our luggage creating a small circle around us. Heavy clouds gathered overhead, threatening rain, while a lone crow cried out from somewhere beyond the treeline, its call sharp and ominous.
"Trust me, this location is absolutely perfect," Lila declared, planting her hands firmly on her hips with determination etched across her face. "The magical currents are flowing exactly right here. Just give me one more moment to concentrate."
One moment that had already stretched into a full hour.
Exhaustion weighed on all of us. Lina had collapsed onto her suitcase twice, sighing heavily each time. Palmer walked in tight circles, his patience wearing thin, while Luis maintained his distance with crossed arms, his expression unreadable but heavy with unspoken thoughts.
Stephen, however, had reached his breaking point.
