Jasmine's POV
The embrace felt complete and warm, especially when my children squeezed themselves into our group hug.
This was a precious moment for everyone, but particularly for Stephen.
Behind his bright smiles, I caught glimpses of a softness he usually kept hidden. Joy radiated from him, and love shone in his eyes like I had never seen before.
He had earned this happiness. Without thinking, I reached out to hug him once more.
"I am so incredibly happy for you, Stephen," I murmured, my voice breaking as tears blurred my vision.
His face broke into a wide grin as he whispered back, "Thank you, Jasmine."
Lina wiped her nose, her bottom lip quivering as she fought back tears. "I am just so glad you finally opened your heart to someone."
Luis lightened the emotional atmosphere with a knowing smile and gave Stephen a hearty slap on the back. "I always predicted you two would wind up together."
