After four months, I finally decided it was time to start vlogging and making content again. I had finally taken my TikTok off private but left my Instagram alone. It just made sense to have it private so I at least had somewhere to escape to if TikTok turned on me. I decided to film at the Miami Grand Prix. It was the first American race of the season, and with Morgan coming, I felt like it would make for some good content!
Morgan and I stayed in a hotel room together, and I got her to help me with what we should film, even though my media team was there and already had it all planned out. We got up Friday morning and filmed the "get ready with me" portion of my vlog. It was refreshing to be back in an area of my life that I loved so dearly. We then left our villa, since it was easier to get a whole house for me and my team as opposed to a hotel.
When we arrived at the paddock, Morgan walked around for a little while, looking at all the hospitality rooms. We finally made our way into the Mercedes hospitality just as Toto was coming out. He gave both of us a hug and told us not to get into too much trouble. Then he disappeared off in the direction of the garages.
Morgan and I sat outside and talked while watching all the chaos of the paddock. We made and posted a couple of TikToks and then decided it was time to head to the garage.
I always liked to sit with the engineers and listen to Bono talk about all the ways Lewis could improve in his car, but I didn't do that today. Instead, I put my headphones on, and Maddie set in the corner watching the TV screens as the cars went out for practice. It was always a cool thing to see the entire fill-up of all the cars fighting to be the first on track. Well… except the McLarens. I watched as every "P" disappeared off the screen. It took about 10 minutes into practice when I finally saw them zip past the Mercedes garage.
