50 Power stones goal. Dont forget to follow for more update.
Once the team gathered and after recuperating some objects that belonged to the Hoheto team members,
they instantly departed.
Their destination: the Land of Stone.
Because of the importance of the mission they ran at full speed without stopping. Several hours later they had already crossed the border of the Fire Country.
Once in the Land of Stone they made a stop for almost an hour.
After all this is a rescue mission; they can't run into the enemy while they are tired.
After a quick rest they continued.
Thanks to Tsume's dogs they managed to follow the scent of some of the teammates and got closer to the destination where the team was attacked.
"Sensei, there is still water on the ground in a stone environment. Seems like a huge battle happened here."
Tsume nodded. From what Tsume remembered, Dama-sensei doesn't have a water affinity.
Seeing the movement of her dog as if smelling something, Tsume approached and directly noticed it: there was blood on the ground.
Realizing that one of them was injured, Tsume feared the worst.
"We will have to step up the research. Things aren't looking good."
They continued to travel and search when they suddenly heard movement.

With the teammate of Raizo who guarded the client
It was one of Hoheto's teammates who managed to hide. He escaped with Hoheto and the client.
Afterward they separated. Hoheto gave him the instruction to stay with the client. Apparently those mercenaries weren't after the client in particular. They only attacked any passenger to steal their wealth.
Hoheto's intention was to make sure the area was safe.
Until the reinforcement arrived they wouldn't take the initiative to rescue their sensei.
They had to believe in Dama-sensei.
When suddenly the sound of flying weapons hurled in the air.
Shit. The teammate quickly took formation and deflected them.
But alone against two shinobi he was being pushed back. Judging by their level they were around the level of a genin, probably deserted before making it far in the ranks.
One of the shinobi took advantage of a flaw in his guard to attempt a stab with his kunai.
The teammate barely noticed but was able to avoid any fatal point and got a fresh wound.
Without giving him any time to rest they charged at him again, but that is when a shadow flickered on their path.
Izumo reached swiftly, deflecting all the shuriken barrage.
Shintoki sent a burst using his kunai that broke through the enemy defense, slamming him into the wall.
"Argggg… that hurt."
The remaining ninja launched himself forward, but Kotetsu and Tsume easily moved through and defeated him.
Their strength, while below a chunin, could still give trouble to a genin who didn't possess sufficient strength.
Now joined by Shintoki's team, they sent Shintoki and Kotetsu to retrieve Hoheto.
...
Later with Shintoki and Kotetsu
"Where did that guy go?"
"Hey Kotetsu…"
"Hmm, who is there?"
"Come here, it's me."
It was Hoheto, who was running toward them at full speed.
...
Now with Hoheto found, they started to prepare to find their sensei.
Hoheto's addition to the team increased their effectiveness and now they had a clue on which direction Dama-sensei had headed once they were ambushed.
Tsume didn't waste time. She made her dog sniff the scent of the jounin, then they started searching again following the direction Raizo pointed.

Elsewhere
Dama-sensei was being treated in a house inside a village by the last member of their team.
He saved the daughter of a mother killed by bandits after fending off the attempt by the ambush squad leader.
Once he was done he sent a message for reinforcement.
They must be on the way now.
Dama-sensei was wrapped in bandages and breathing heavily.
A cloth was placed on his forehead.
The woman treating Dama was in her thirties but retained striking beauty.
However, her clothes were worn, a sign of the village's severe economic situation.
According to what she said—and which was clearly confirmed by what Dama had experienced—the village was constantly attacked by bandits who stole its wealth. Everyone was forced to pay a certain sum.
The village tried to resist and even managed to reach a fragile balance by neutralizing several of these bandits.
But one day, mercenaries launched an assault on the region. They killed a mother and a father and laid siege to the village. They imposed a condition for restoring order: the people must obey them, and the village chief must hand over authority.
Anyone who refused would be eliminated or imprisoned.
The resistance force at the time was completely useless against the mercenaries.
It was almost wiped out.
The mercenaries possessed several ninjas and rōnin among their ranks. They crushed and destroyed the resistance.
Several members were captured and executed or died under torture.
...
"What, you haven't found him yet?"
A grave voice responded.
"Damn it, that bastard really is a pain."
The man had been confident in his capability to take out the jounin, but not only he lost, he had to retreat in a hurry.
If not for his experience the jounin, despite his disadvantage, might have killed him.
"Hurry, find me that bastard. I will kill him this time."
The leader said, his voice grave.
Suddenly someone came running toward the leader.
"Suijin-sama, we have urgent news.
Some ninjas have come to assist the Konoha ninja who are within the territory.
They have come with another jounin."
At that the squad's expression grew anxious.
One jounin was already trouble, but two things just got more complicated.
Suijin's anger was starting to build.
The thugs surrounding him were starting to panic.
When their leader was this angry, things never got good.
Suijin's eyes flashed coldly, then he said:
"Then what? We will just kill them."
Suijin had long since despised the shinobi of the Five Great Villages for the chaos they caused in the world. He himself had been forced to escape his own village, which was destroyed by Kumo and Konoha when they clashed in the Second Ninja War.
...
Tsume and the rest finally stood in front of a house.
According to her dog, it was where the scent of Dama-sensei stopped.
Tsume got close to the gate and knocked.
